“Keseimbagan elements in this area destroyed already.” Adi said to himself. “I have to fix it, but before that.” Even though he has won, he has not been relieved because he does not know how safe Harsa and his friends are.
Adi re-opens the transparent hood to return to the Material World. Out on the quiet streets in the middle of the night, Adi could feel her sister in the inn room on the second floor. Without saying anything, Adi climbed up the inn to enter from his window on the second floor.
“No way your brother lost, Sa. She's strong isn't she?” The word Barasa is soothing. Adi sighed, if Harsa couldn't feel it at a time like this, wouldn't that kid really shrink the range of his aura?
But Adi's complaint turns to worry when he sees Harsa's pale face. Despite insisting on being fine, Harsa's legs were already flattered because she felt dizzy after losing so much blood. Harsa's white sword disappeared as Harsa's eyes began to close and her body fell to the side. The human who had been tainted with the formskitter stole the opportunity, he bewitched one more bone sword and aimed for Barasa who moved to capture Harsa's body. Aster, realizing it, pulled Barasa backwards, while himself was forced to advance to Barasa's place.
Adi jumped by draining all the rest of the physis to both feet from the window sidelines. His right arm flanked Aster's waist and pulled him to avoid the sword's thrust while his left hand caught Adit's fist. The blade of the sword pierced through Adi's palm, but Adi did not grimace. He slams Adit onto the floor, and makes handcuffs from the ice that instantly binds his hands and feet. The impact that hit Adit's head made him unconscious.
Meanwhile, Aster looks to see who saved him. His eyes immediately collided with Adi's white eyes that lit up like a full moon. Unknowingly, Aster's face flushed red as blood directly rose into his face. He had never been close to such a man before. His hands struggled to be free from Adi's strong grip.
Barasa, don't pay attention to it all. “Harsa!” He said he panicked and immediately knelt down next to Harsa who was unconscious.
“Sa!!” Shouted Aster as well, instantly forgetting Adi. By relying on his final physique, Aster strengthens his arm to break away from Adi's clutches.
Adi had already opened his ring to heal Harsa, but Aster was faster. Aster held onto Harsa's right hand wearing Adi's physis storage ring. He uses the physis in the ring to repair the cells in Harsa's body.
“Wow, Aster! This what?” He shook his head and rubbed his eyes. “Am I in the world of novels?”
“Decrit live.” Adi replied astonished. This time he had only first noticed Aster well, starting from his physique and the physis reserves in it. “Abiz once. I've heard from Harsa that you can master the elements under abstract and material decrees…. But now you also master the edict of life. In addition, you are truly a human who has a physis backup..” Adi muttered to himself. He was trying to understand Aster's whereabouts. In his little heart, he was sure that even Aster's condition would not be explained by his friend who took Human Studies.
Aster ignored Adi's words until he finished covering Harsa's wounds. He wiped off his sweat after concentrating fully for half an hour to heal Harsa's wounds. If there is one thing he is grateful for from this incident, that is now Aster can begin to master the living decree.
“Will he be okay?” tanya Barasa was worried.
“She should be fine.” Adi answered Barasa's question. “Let him rest first.”
“How about him?” tanya Barasa while pointing at Adit who is still weakly bound.
“He won't be able to do anything for a while.” Adi said remain vigilant. “Perhaps if I bring it to the final decree of life, his soul can return to its original state before merging with formskitter.”
After their condition calms down, Aster begins to ask how they knew he was kidnapped and his position.
“It's been spooky, you're missing no news. You don't go to school, nobody knows you at home. So we were worried that you were wondering and asked her brother Harsa for help to find you. After knowing you're in Garut, I booked a train ticket and we're here deh.” Story Barasa. “Oh yes. Now how's the house going? Surely there is no train home, already above midnight.”
“Maybe we better stay here first? The inn was already paid for by Adit and I wanted to try to fix that broken window.”
Barasa's forehead was frowned upon uncertainly, yet again he was startled by Aster. The teen called out the glass and wood elements from the window, and fixed the broken glass directly from the particles. “Wow...”.
Aster's cheeks returned to flushing in shame. All this time, no one had ever praised her magic abilities. Harsa never praised him. Aster could not help but feel a sense of pleasure that was bowing in his heart. “Thank you.”
“I agree with Aster. It would be best if we could stay in this room to rest. Harsa hasn't woken up yet, and I have something to do.” Adi said while reopening the hood to the Edge of the Spirit World.
“Wait!” Said Aster.
Adi turned around with one eyebrow raised.
“You're a fairy, aren't you?” ask Aster noticed how the physis around them sucked into Adi's body.
“Peri?” Adi was silent for a while before replying again. “Yes. I guess you could say I'm a fairy.”
“Then, there are some I want to ask.” Aster took a deep breath, strengthening himself. “What true fairies can and like to cause natural disasters?!”
Aster's forehead is getting wrinkled. “Huh? Maybe I mean the side effects of the magic are huge? Sometimes when we fight very strong formskitters, elements in the environment can become unbalanced and that can indeed lead to natural disasters. But, do you like it? Sure didn't. We always try to rebalance those elements. That's what I'm gonna do now. I will change the ice and fire element I just released to fight into physis. Otherwise...” A strong wind blows slammed the window that Aster just fixed. “Maybe here will soon be hail.” Obviously Adi while remembering how he turned so much of his physis into the elements of water and ice.
“Then it! Do you know what tsunami ten years ago happened because of the fairies too?” Aster's chest skipped a beat at the time of asking. Maybe for Barasa, or Harsa, or anyone else, that question doesn't matter. However, for Aster, Adi's answer would mean a lot. He needs to know the exact cause of his parents' death.
Adi saw Aster right in the eye. “I don't remember the details of all the natural disasters that ever happened in the Material World. But if the disaster was indeed caused by us, then I should have known because such a big fight must have been big news. Failure of anti magic team to handle the effects of the fight is usually a big problem for our government.”
Hearing Adi's explanation, Aster's heart became much more relieved. They let Adi go while being wary of Adit's movements.
“Still looking for me.” Aster spoke to Barasa after Adi left.
Barasa smiled. “Sama-sama. I feel like this experience itself is amazing. To be honest, I until now did not want to believe about how Kak Adi is a fairy..” Barsa shook his head. “May I assume that the conversation does not exist? I mean I saw with my own head how her sister Harsa disappeared like a ghost and made a cloud of kinton like in anime, but honestly I felt unwilling. It's just that my head is dizzy when I think about what happened today, so I just want to forget about it. Tonight is really like a dream to know. That... make me uncomfortable.”
Aster smiled. “I think it's okay. You can think about it slowly. If all that information had gotten into my head in one night, I would also have felt that everything I knew about this world was a lie.”
Barasa chuckled. “Yes, like that it feels. Exactly so.”
Finally, after three days, Aster began to feel relieved after being on the edge of danger for twenty-four hours. He thought, in the end, that night would be over soon after Barasa offered to keep watch first so Aster could get a little rest. However, just ten minutes after Aster closed his eyes, a rowdy sound rang out from the door of their room that was forcefully opened.
“Police!! Open door!!” A shouting sound rang out from outside the door that was struck many times.
Aster immediately woke up and his mind was like freshly gushed water. “Police?!”
