The Eternal War Kasarewang

The Eternal War Kasarewang
Adi Wijaya vs Railway

When we got to Harsa's house, the sun had sunk. As soon as he stepped on the fence of his house, Harsa could feel Adi's thin aura already pouring out from inside the house. Inside he was again enjoying a sweet tea at the family table. Fortunately, his form was like a human, so Barasa was not too suspicious, although he still wore his usual army uniform.

“Kak Adi!!” Harsa's shout surprised Adi, until the older brother choked. Regardless of her brother's coughing voice, Harsa continued. “Kak Adi, can find people using physis not?”

“Hah? Whahuh? Geez I didn't know drinking tea can make you cough.” Adi was confused.

“My friend is missing.” Harsa briefly explained the situation to Adi.

Adi took a long breath. “You think I'm a lost human seeker?”

“Nno! This is me asking for help, brother! Ask help!! I didn't ask Adi to find all the missing people in the world! Just this once. If there really is a danger to Aster, I will not be able to sleep well again!” Pinta Harsa is desperate.

Adi looked at Harsa while thinking.

“Kak come on, help me! I'm afraid Aster why-not because.” Harsa glanced at Barasa who was standing behind him worriedly. “When she went missing, Aster seemed very suspicious of me, but I don't know why. He also just met a friend from the internet who can magic and told him about, eee, about.” Harsa again glanced at Barasa who now looked back in wonder. “I remember papa once told you about a malicious organization that was looking for..”.

“Enough!” Cut Adi pissed. He stood up violently, then he walked into the room devoted to him. “You're a hassle, know!”

Harsa fell limp on the dining table chair. “I can't believe he won't help.”

“Then how?” Ask Barasa behind her.

Harsa. “I don't know anymore what to do.” If I were strong enough, I would have enough physis to widen my aura to encompass a single city…. Harsa shook her head sadly. He no longer wants to be interested in ‘ if only’. This time, Barasa did not ask again. He just sat down at the dinner table next to Harsa, sharing his frustration and confusion with Harsa.

In the midst of their despair, Erik emerged from the kitchen. “Do not worry. He wants to help. He may be upset with you, but he'll help you.”

“Papa?” Harsa raised her head, looking into Erik's eyes.

Erik smiled. “See aja!”

Right after Erik's words, Adi came out of his room. He throws a ring of agate at Harsa. Within the ring, Harsa could sense a large physis, even greater than the one in the agate he found in Aster's room. “What is this?”

“Surances.” Answer Adi. “The ring keeps a physis backup for you to use, just in case your physis is not enough. I don't really understand what danger you mean, but if it's dangerous, you better hold it.”

“Woow. I didn't think there was such a technology.” Harsa was amazed.

“What are you waiting for?” ask Adi.

They immediately left the house, but Adi had stopped immediately. “So, where do we go?”

“That's exactly it, I want Adi's sister to find where Aster.” is Harsa.

“Where can I find Aster if I never meet the person?”  Complain Adi.

“Kak Adi never met. It was MOS Day, right there was a form -, Shadow Legend attacked me at school. The legend of the Shadow wounded Barasa and there was one more daughter. Her name is Aster.”

Adi ransacked his memories until he met. “Oooh. That girl.” He's nodding. “That's in your pocket, physis has, eee what was her name?”

“Aster.” Answer Barasa.

“Yes, Aster.”

Harsa took out the agate he found from Aster's room. “It looks like, the hell yes brother. Can Adi track?”

“To be honest so far I have not felt the existence of your friend in this city.” Adi said. “But he left his physis trail to the south.” Adi said.

“Kak Adi can not try to find where Aster position exactly where?”

“Huh. Don't underestimate me. If I put in half my physis, I think I can find him.” Adi said. He exerted his full concentration in widening his aura, more than Adi was used to. In addition to widening, Adi also directs his physiology directed to where Aster left his mark.

Barasa's forehead also furrowed feeling Adi's strengthening aura, yet he kept his mouth shut.

“Me.” Adi said sure. “I think the distance is about seventy kilometers to the southeast.”

Barasa and Harsa looked at. “Seventy kilometers?! Where's that?”

“Ke direction there.” Show Adi.

“Kak, I mean to which city?” ask Harsa patiently.

Adi went back to breathing out loud. “You think I know the name of this city?”

“Ehm, His name is Bandung anyway, kak.” Answer Barasa. The young boy was confused as to why there were people who did not know the name of the city where he lived.

“Sorry, I'm not the guy here.”

Barasa threw a gaze at Harsa. He's your brother, right?

Harper tries not to despair. He took his phone and opened the map app. “City which is seventy meters to the southeast from here... Garut?”.

“Ya, maybe.” Adi said doubtfully. “Already. If so, I'll just take you there. With physis, I can lift you both up and run at high speed.”

“Eh, yes. Stop, brother! Then just teleport! Like Kak Adi used to teleport from here to where? Drestha City?” Harsa said she remembers Adi teleporting frequently.

“Cannot.” Adi said. He then raised his hand to show one of his agate rings. “I can teleport from Drestha city to home and home to Drestha city because I have this ring. Inside here, there is a spell that can turn my physis into a space element, but I cannot conjure space because I have no space decree. My teleportation is limited from here to Drestha city only.” Obviously Adi is long.

“Oooh.” Harsa said disappointed. “But physis kak Adi lives half after looking for Aster, right?”

“Ya.”

“Different from you, I can absorb the physis while moving and remove the physis.” Adi said, again not proud, just saying the facts.

“Hmm. How about taking the train?” tanya Barasa cut through their conversation. Little did Barasa understand that they were arguing about how the method of travel to Garut, although he also did not understand what is a physics or space element. “It looks like there are still tickets on the KAI.” app

“Good idea! I borrowed my mom's credit card, bentar!” Harsa immediately went back inside the house, then came out again with a credit card owned by Darma.

“Uah. Credit card.” Comments Barasa.

Now, Adi's part is looking at them as if Harsa and Barasa are speaking an alien language. “Credit card? The train? Application?” Ask Adi.

“EEhh? How yes? Never mind. Later I explain it to brother.” Harsa. Meanwhile Barasa looked at Harsa with a gaze, indeed your brother lives behind a rock? Of course he did not dare to say it out loud.

“Kak Adi, Aster is not going anywhere right? If we get to Garut in two hours it must be an abomination right?” Tanya Barasa while looking at the train schedules that are still available. “This is the fastest time at seventy-thirty to leave. It will arrive in Garut at nine o'clock in twenty minutes. Now it's six o'clock past twenty minutes. If we order now, maybe hunt.”

“Message, fast!” Harsa said without thinking about how she would go home.

“Oke, I'll order ya. Make three people?” Tanyanya was still unsure while looking at Adi.

“Ya!” Sahut Harsa's. “Eh, but if you're tired and don't want to come, I'm not bi-”

“I'm coming.” Firm Barasa. “Mana your student card. Same as for KTP Kak Adi.” Barasa was in a hurry to enter passenger information.

Harsa pulled out her student card from the wallet, then saw Adi who was speechless in confusion. One figurative light bulb flashed in Harsa's mind. “Kak Adi has no KTP.”

“Hah? Continue how dong, I can not order if there is no identifier.”

Harsa thought hard. “Kak Adi! Sis Adi can look like papa?”

“H….. Maybe if I age, similar? I'm Dad's son.” He said he turned around trying to age. Barasa's eyes that had been widened from earlier could not widen anymore. “Where?”

“Uuhh. Da? Good luck.” Harsa then ran into his house in a hurry, and returned with Erik's ID card. He gave the ID to Barasa. “We go to your bike ride station, can?”

“Can, but I don't dare botri.” Barasa replied back to glancing at Adi.

“Hm, do I ask papa to deliver ya?”

“No need. I can follow, kok.” Adi's Promise.

“Kak Adi no motor?” tanya Barasa was already wearing his helmet and handed one to Harsa.

Adi's forehead is back in a frown. “No, but don't worry. I can definitely follow. Just show me the way to this place called ‘station’.”

“Okay then. Already, Barasa! It's okay! Let's go first. Sister Adi is behind ya?” Harsa said straight up to Barasa's motorbike. Meksi hesitated, Barasa squeezed his motor towards the station. His eyes were completely wide-eyed when he found Adi instantly appearing out of nowhere when they finally finished parking the motor at the station. Adi does not carry a motorbike, nor a car. He didn't even sweat a bit.

“So this station?” ask Adi.

“Yes! Um. Physis sister is still a lot?” ask Harsa.

“Yeah, pretty much kok.”

In compensation, Harsa bought Adi a liter of mineral water to restore her physis. They got on the train in a hurry. People noticed them because only they seemed to travel without carrying a single bag. They were also in a hurry to get into the carriage. Many times Harsa had to pull Adi to not be distracted to see the atmosphere of the station and train cars.

“Hayu, Brother! We are no longer outing!” Harsa said desperately.

***

Adi has returned to its original strength after drinking a liter of water and absorbing physis throughout the journey. Adi single-handedly brought Harsa and Barasa who were tired to the location where Aster was. He made a cloud filled with physis to ride by Harsa and Barasa. The cloud floated above Adi who was running at high speed. When it was only half the journey, Adi was already frowning.

“Harsa, get ready.” Adi said from below. “Do you feel it?”

“No, sis! Auraku only reaches five hundred meters!” Shouts Harsa from above the clouds.

“There is formskitter in place of your friend, what is his name?”

“Aster!” Barasa Shouts.

“Yes, there's formskitter where Aster is! They're strong!!”

Harsa's chest was pounding loudly. He imagined how scary it would be to fight with the formskitter that Adi said was strong.

“Formskitter?” ask Barasa.

“Shadow Legend.” Answer Harsa. “Kakku called it formskitter, because the shape can change.”

“...” Barasa swallow. “As attacked you in school back then?”

“I think it's stronger.” Harsa answered with a pale face.

“I don't understand. Would Aster be fine if there were such a powerful creature in the place where he was? And why did Aster get to be with the Shadow Legend? Are we going to be okay?”

Harsa's chest was pounding. He was already much stronger than before, but he wasn't sure he could protect Barasa. “I don't understand.. But that's a strong reason why we have to hurry to Aster's place and make sure he's okay.”

“Harsa!!” Call Adi from below. “Once we get there, we have to fight straight away! They're already aware of our whereabouts!”

“Ya!” Hansa replied, more to prepare himself.

“There are two formskitters. One strong and one weak.” Adi continued shouting. “You two face the weak and I will bring the strong to the Spirit World Bank to fight there! We'll be here soon! Ready?”

Harsa shook her head, “No!” But there is no more time to prepare. The formskitter immediately entered Harsa's aura radar. His terrifying aura suppressing Harsa was even more terrifying than any formskitter he had faced before. They've reached where Aster is.
