Increasingly seen, the formskitter shape is similar to a giant sea urchin. However, instead of thorns, sticking out of his round body were small tentacles somehow in number. The sharp pebble stones that bombarded them, were formed and thrown by hundreds of those tentacles. The tentacles were so fast that Harsa could not see them clearly.
Harsa also just realized that, Adi had changed into a brown vest and leather pants that he wore yesterday, also did not forget the striking agate rings. At the moment Adi lunged forward, one of his rings glowed, then from empty air appeared a slender sword a meter long. With that sword, Adi reflected the stone pebbles at an equivalent speed.
KLANG!!! KLING!!!!!
Every time Adi managed to bounce the sharp pebbles, he got closer to the formskitter. Each slash raised the temperature of the sword blade, visible from its iron radiating a fiery red color. Adi pierced into the air in front, from the hilt of his sword, appeared a blue fireball explosion that shot towards the formskitter. Harsa's mouth was wide open in surprise. He thought Adi had the affinity of the water element, but in fact, now he was using the fire element to attack the formskitter.
The octopus formskitter was shocked. Like a ball, he bounced upwards, but he could not dodge Adi's entire attack. The lower tentacles were charred to ashes.
At close range, the formskitter changed his tactics. From above, he attacked Adi with the remains of his elongated tentacles. Adi without difficulty cut the tentacles with his fire sword.
Adi was ready to slash the formskitter into two pieces when the tentacle ball fell right where Adi was standing, but the formskitter shape turned into a wolf. The wolf claw held Adi's attack. Harnessing the power of Adi's slash, the formskitter leapt a few meters back, taking a distance from Kasarewang whom he soon realized was well trained in combat.
Harsa's fears begin to melt, seeing how Adi manages to corner the formskitter with ease. Adi's aura that radiates when the color of his eyes and hair returns to normal, overrides the aura of the formskitter. For the first time, the aura from Adi was calming.
Adi told him to hide, but as long as his eyes looked, only the sand of the beach and the sea lay wide on his left. To his right, far behind the stretch of beach sand, there is a tropical forest that may be used to hide. The problem was, Harsa's body felt heavy, as if the gravity of the place was ten times higher than the gravity of the earth.
Is his body injured? Adi again pondered the question earlier. Cannot be. Adi had clearly received all the effects of their fall. In that case, how could Adi move without such a hitch?
Harsa was concentrating. His intuition told him that Adi's movements were overwhelmed by energies he could not see. Is….? Harper looked at himself. As she could imagine her lungs widening and deflating while breathing, Harsa could imagine Kai within her currently locked by the seal Erik implanted when she was eight years old, so that Harsa can not use her magic carelessly. Even so, from the sidelines of the seal, physis still found a way out of the seal. Controlling the physis that came out from between the seals, Harsa covered her body with physi. Instantly his body felt light, and Harsa was able to move normally.
“Uah!!” Like a toddler trying to walk, Harsa has no experience controlling her magic. Control slipped a moment later. Physis, who was covering his body regardless of Harsa's control, burst out in the form of a fireball.
Instantly the formskitter realizes the whereabouts of Harsa. His eyes were focused on the teenager who was still struggling to stand and his body lunged over Adi. His instinct told him to finish off weaker opponents. One of his wolf legs turned into the head of a snake that moved quickly towards Harsa. From his head it was sticking out four fangs that seemed to be strong enough to crush the stone.
“-------!” Adi surges right in front of Harsa, protecting her sister from the snake's deadly bite.
Harsa did not hear Adi's words, her eyes focused on the gaping wound from Adi's stomach. “You're hurt!”
Disregarding his injuries, Adi stood up again. Fast enough to slash the tentacle attack from the formskitter that now returns to being a sea urchin with those tentacles. Each time one tentacle was cut off, it seemed that two tentacles were re-formed from the sea urchin. Now the mood of the fight turned around. Adi's forehead was furrowed to withstand the increasingly indiscriminate attacks of formskitter. His footrest began to push back.
Returning the physis to slurp her body, Harsa stood up.
“Just be quiet!” Adi's orders while continuing to withstand the tentacle's attack.
Ignoring Adi, Harsa runs towards the formskitter. “So Adi is hurt! I have to do something!”
“Tch!” Adi is clucking, but he can't do anything to stop Harsa. His mind was split between resisting the attacks of formskitter and summoning water from the ocean on their left.
Harsa realizes she has no experience fighting with formskitter, nor mastering magic like Adi, but she cannot stay still while Adi fights alone with gaping wounds. All her life seeing patients coming home, Harsa had never seen such severe injuries. When close enough to the formskitter who was still busy attacking Adi, he released his control over the physi covering his body. Once again, this time intentional, the energy burst out and burned everything that was two meters near Harsa's body, including the formskitter. Almost half of his body was charred into ashes, displaying a single black sphere in the center.
Harsa's attack cannot be called magic, just a simple application of his own mistakes and experiences. However, Harsa's attack is enough to give Adi time. He did not need to withstand the attacks of formskitter while building his magic. Before the formskitter regenerated itself, it completed its magic.
The roar of the waves was heard from the sea from the tsunami waves with a meter high crashing both Adi, Harsa, and the formskitter. Instead of going back by dragging the three of them into the ocean, the water gathers to trap Harsa and formskitter in a bubble of water balls. Unaffected by the impact of water with extraordinary volume, Adi remained standing unmoved in place. His white eyes lit up like the moon as he controlled an immeasurable amount of water. Both of his hands were tightly clenched.
The water bubble that trapped Harsa broke when Adi opened her left hand. Meanwhile, the large water bubble that traps the formskitter is getting cold and soon it is a chunk of ice that freezes anything in it. Harsa who escaped the bubble was panting for oxygen while spewing out seawater.
Adi advanced forward, in the direction of the formskitter. This time the temperature of his sword cooled down, enveloping the slender sword with a sharper, more massless blade of ice. With a single slash, he divided the ice ball and the formskitter inside into two. The black sphere that became the core of the formskitter was split apart, while its other body was crushed into pieces of ash.
A satisfied and evil smile appeared on Adi's face. Harsa had never seen her brother smile so widely as that. He said something in Kasarewang to himself before turning around to check on Harsa.
