The Eternal War Kasarewang

The Eternal War Kasarewang
Harsa and Barasa vs. Formskitter Man

Adi jumped from the roof of the house to one roof of the other house until they arrived at a jasmine lodging roof that can be booked online. On top of the roof of the jasmine inn, a woman stood next to a black shadow that was not clear what it looked like. From their direction, the aura pressing out collided with the auras of Harsa and Adi. Undeniably, cold sweat pours out Harsa's forehead.

“Kak Adi! He said there were two formskitters! One of them is human!” Shouts Harsa.

“Stupid! That woman is a human-shaped formskitter! He is strong! I'll take him to the Edge of the Spirit World!” Shouted Adi while they got closer. “As soon as I say, you two should go straight down!”

“Ya!”

Right at the time when they were only one house away, Adi shouted, “Down!!” Harsa and Barasa jump from the clouds created by Adi. They landed on the roof of the house opposite the inn.

From the beginning, Adi was serious. Adi let his aura run amok. Her hair turned bright blue and her eyes turned bright white.  Instantly, the clouds that Adi made grew and darkened. Adi turned the physi he put in the cloud into lightning that immediately struck towards his slender sword he just took out.

The female-shaped formskitter began to show its true form. His right hand turned into a giant lion's claw. With that right hand, he resisted Adi's sword attack which was filled with electric charge. The electric shock stung and pushed the formskitter backwards. At the same time, Adi drained the physis into one of its flaming rings, and the transparent hood behind the formskitter was exposed. The two of them, Adi and the formskitter, entered the Spirit World Bank. They both disappeared from the Material World, but the atmosphere on the roof right gripped because of the collision between the aura of Adi and the formskitter.

“Belasa!” Shouts Harsa. Without restraint, he also let out his aura to the maximum. Her hair color changed to bright red and her eyes were light yellow.

Barasa himself directly drained the physis throughout his body.

The black shadow fruited into a black chicken with intimidating claws and beaks. Without caring for Barasa, he flew towards Harsa. The boy again formed a white sword from the hot and dense flames. With that sword, he parried the peck of the chicken-shaped formskitter. Different from the formskitters he had fought before, these formskitters were much stronger. Even this chicken beak was much stronger than the last formskitter core he fought. His beak was not crushed by Harsa's sword, although the feathers on his face began to burn. Regardless of himself, the formskitter continued to attack Harsa.

“Belasa! He's not gonna attack you! We must use it to win!” Shouted Harsa in the middle of his concentration to fend off the chicken mounds whose effects are getting faster and faster. Each peg contains a physis that even leftovers scratch Harsa's two arms.

“Yes! Even though it is too late to talk strategy now!” They attack from behind. With his hands filled with physis, he took the chicken-shaped formskitter's tail and threw it to the edge, freeing Harsa from the barrage of attacks. The formskitter used its wings to land on one of the roofs of the house. He immediately jumped to attack again.

At this crucial time, Harsa's mind was instead turned to the fire element he was controlling in his sword. That white-colored fire element was slightly different from the fire element he was used to controlling. When Harsa turns it even denser with physis, the fire element can be transformed into another element. Trusting his intuition, Harsa continued to develop that fire element. Over time, his white sword became visible. Although her magic seemed lost, Harsa smiled because she knew exactly what elements emerged from her experiment.

Harsa directs a hand at the formskitter, and shoots out the elements she has just mastered. The chicken-shaped formskitter pat was now crushed to pieces with half of its body. Small tongues of fire scorched the open wound.

“Mantake, Sa!!” Praise Barasa with wide bulging eyes.

When Harsa's victory was not long, his forehead shrunk. “Nno, not yet!” In the middle of the formskitter, there is no core that is the key to defeating the formskitter.

Sure enough, the formskitter instead of disappearing, it split into two. Both of them turned into wolves that instantly jumped towards Harsa. Barasa swiftly kicked the one wolf that almost clawed at Harsa's face, while Harsa held the bite of another wolf with a physis covering him.

“I'll handle this one!” Barasa exclaimed, blocking the wolf from attacking Harsa again.

“Destroy the black crystal to the core Sa! Otherwise, we can't afford this formsktter!” Harsa said as she released herself from the wolf bite. His arm screamed out in pain as it could not withstand the full bite of that physis. Before the wolf could hit again, Harsa fired his laser again. The wolf jumps to avoid Harsa's attack, but Harsa pulls her laser which somehow reaches mana to the side. His attack successfully hit the formskitter-shaped wolf, but again, in the middle of his body there is no core of formskitter.

What's?! “Not possible!! Neither do I!” Harsa said he began to feel desperate as his energy was wasted fighting formskitters who had no core. “Then, how do we beat this formskitter?!”

“I don't know!” said Barasa retreating backwards. His back touched Harsa's back as they watched for a surprise attack from the two wolves surrounding them.

“Then, we're just wasting time!” Harsa panicked. “What if you try to get into that inn to find Aster?! I'll hold this formskitter here!”

“You sure you won't do anything?” tanya Barasa was worried.

“Ya!” Harsa said sure.

The two wolves did not even serve Barasa who ran away and entered the inn while Harsa relied on his aura to read every attack the two formskitters were rather unharmed. He hoped that Barasa would immediately come out of the inn with a safe Aster figure in order to help him fight back against the formskitters. However, he regretted his hope. Barasa did come out of the inn, but he came out because he was thrown from the window on the second floor. The window shattered into pieces when Barasa was knocked out.

“Belasa!” Shouted Harsa worried. Once he let his guard down, one of the wolf-shaped formskitter claws hit his back. Harsa lost her massage and fell from the roof onto the road where Barasa lay limp. If it wasn't for her constant self-protecting physis, Harsa would have broken some of her ribs.

“Urgh!” He forced himself to stand up. “There's still one more opponent.”

From the window on the second floor, a man whose voice Harsa knew came out. “I didn't expect Aster to have another friend who mastered magic.” Said. He stretched out his hand and the two wolf-shaped formskitters returned to being formless, then penetrated into the male's body. The black shadow entered his skin and blackened his eyeballs. “You better just go home.”

“He's a real Shadow Legend body?” tanya Barasa while helping Harsa stand up.

Harsa. His aura says clearly that the man is a human who does not have Kai. He did not give off any aura like Kasarewang or formskitter at all. “Not. He's human.” After being able to stand up straight, he looked at his enemy nicely. “Who are you?”

“My name is Adit.”

“Where's Aster?” tanya Barasa was impatient.

“She was sleeping in the inn room and she won't be home.” Said Adit.

“Ngak. Aster will be home with us tonight.” Harsa said firmly.

Forehead Adit wrinkled. “Hah? Don't you know Aster isn't comfortable at home? Don't you know she wants to leave home long ago?”

Harsa is reminded of the Aster family who did not know that the child disappeared. “I don't know about it, but if Aster did leave on his own terms, he wouldn't leave without news. So, we'll take her home.”

“Yeah, just try. Let's see if you can beat me and my formskitter.” He said calmly. He raised his hand and the physis around them turned into an element that Harsa was unfamiliar with. Bone elements. From various angles surrounding them, living skulls appeared around Harsa and Barasa.
