The Eternal War Kasarewang

The Eternal War Kasarewang
School End Exams (1)

Harsa breathed a sigh of relief when she saw Gilda's face appear on the second day of school after a holiday from Bali. He looked a little pale, yet he still smiled widely. He looks unwell, but not in pain.

“You okay, Gil?” ask Harsa to worry.

Gilda shook her hand. “More important than that, we have to be close.”

“Siang later, go home school. Me, you, Edi, and Lisa.”

“What is this about your health?” ask Harsa again. He still doubts that Gilda is okay.

“This was about the attack yesterday!”

“Hush!” They were both shouted at by the teacher. Gilda immediately looked back to the front, stopping discussing with Harsa. Coming home from Bali, the school exam is in sight. Teachers should teach them.

The atmosphere of the classroom became completely quiet when all the students began to seriously study. Many of Harsa's friends have begun intensive tutoring to pursue admission to selected universities. Harsa is one of the few friends who has not started intensive tutoring. Afterwards, Harsa still can not decide where she wants to go to further education. Or rather, what he wanted her to do in the future. Therefore, right now, Harsa is only studying seriously in class, and of course, protecting herself from formskitter.

Although Gilda follows the lesson as usual (not so seriously), Harsa feels quite worried about Gilda's behavior. He often reprimanded the teacher for daydreaming. However, Gilda always admitted that she was fine whenever asked by friends.

Before long, their homeroom teacher also gave another letter from the school to the parents. The school will hold a stay for intensive study of the end-of-school exams. The event was held on Saturday and must be attended by all students. Gilda's hand shook when she heard that Harsa had to stay at school again.

“We talk about this later.” Gilda said briefly at the turn of the class.

So, the four of them gathered behind the school building. One male student, one female student, and two janitors gathered at a place where delinquents used to smoke. A bunch that looks pretty weird. The four of them crouched down following Edi.

“So, what do we want to talk about?” ask Lisa.

“Formskitter that attacked me yesterday.” Beyond a doubt, Harsa started the conversation first. “Formskitter shaped that tree, I think we've defeated it the first time. The second formskitter reappeared, with the same shape, but stronger. Is that the same formskitter?”

“I am one hundred percent sure that the formskitter is the same as the previous formskitter.” Said Gilda sure. The first “Formskitter is the part of the formskiter that falsifies the core. The real formskitter is joined by the humans. I'm sure the core of the actual formskitter was in the hands of that human being back then.”

“So that first attack was just to estimate our strength alone?” ask Lisa. “Then they attacked us all-out in Bali.”

“But if all out, why did they run away in the end?” ask Gilda. “They should have attacked us all the way. After all, that second attack could have entered Harsa's room without my detection at all. I'm not comfortable with it.”

“It's not because you're asleep?” ask Edi.

“No! I told you, sleep, I must have realized.”

“Did he enter via teleportation magic from space decrees? So she can get into my room undetected.” Think harsa.

“Maybe.” Gilda agreed. “But that means danger once. Formskitter who mastered space decrees is actually quite rare.”

“I'm reminded of the time I was kidnapped by formskitter. That time also formskitter came suddenly.” Harsa's Story. “I don't see the same formskitter coming anyway.”

“So what do you think they're planning?” ask Lisa.

“They tried to kidnap Harsa to finish their express.” Said Gilda sure. “But somehow they attack us slowly, as if not seriously. They might measure our strength. Or... trying something we don't know what.”

“There's a point too. Harsa, later there will be a stay at school to study exams, right?”

“Yes, I will ask my parents so they ask permission that I be allowed not to come.” Desperate Harsa directly, albeit with a heavy heart. He can learn at home. Of course, it is more fun to study with his friends.

“But will they directly attack after failing in Bali yesterday?” lisa is skeptical.

“We don't know, but we still have to be vigilant.”

“Instead I thought otherwise.” Said Edi. “We have to take advantage of their attacks, not just defensively. I've been interrogating Adit for two years about the location of their operation. Surely, they gathered much at the edge of the spirit world. After two years of interrogation, he began to reveal a little bit about how their system came together. Unfortunately, the places where they gather are many, and they keep moving every meeting. To know where they will gather, we must follow them.”

“Yeah, we've known that system for a long time.” Gilda was not impressed. “But you mean, we will deliberately wait for their attacks to know where they gathered?”

“Ya.”

Gilda. “A hundred years ago such a strategy might work. Formskitter usually splits first before gathering in one place. Even if we continue to follow them, usually will go into the trap they have prepared before.”

“No problem.” Edi said with a confident smile. “We can wait for them for a few days and still find their nest without getting into the trap. We have a budget for that now. Then, after we know their place, we can replace attacking them.”

Gilda looked at Edi worriedly. “Are you sure you can do that?”

“Ya.” Said Edi confidently. “After all you have to learn to chase your grades right?”

Gilda's face flushed in light of her burning value. “Hahaha, but I don't need to graduate. What about you Sa? Would you like to take another risk?”

“Yah. I think we're strong enough to handle it. That stay was just one day anyway. Not necessarily they will attack us.” Harsa said she was getting excited about staying at school. The stay at MOS was chaotic in their generation, so he was eager to experience a stay at school.

“Lisa?” ask Gilda.

“I believe in the strategy of Edi.” Lisa said casually.

“Good. I'll try to negotiate help.” Said Gilda agreeing to their plan in the end.

Harsa smiled happily.

“You are so happy.” Lisa's Comment.

“Yah. Hehe. Of course, you can learn together with friends. Besides, I'm happy too because it feels like we're really working together. Rugged and human.”

Gilda smiled. “Do not worry! It's just the beginning!”
