The Eternal War Kasarewang

The Eternal War Kasarewang
Standardization Test (5)

“Hei!!! The watchman!! This formskitter is coreless!” Shouted Kasarewang who had not yet introduced himself.

Five minutes later, there was no answer. No sound was heard from any side of the room. The five of them began to doubt they were being watched.

“Probably free, Bedo.” Kriya said not excited.

“Ahh!!” yelled Bedo frustrated. “Is there a trick behind this?”

The ball-shaped formskitters did not stay still as they spoke. The five of them both had to keep moving to avoid those ball-shaped formskitter attacks.

“Someone should busy this formskitter when we draw up the plan.” Harsa's proposal while dodging a round bullet that exploded when it hit the floor.

“I'll hold it.” Aster's proposal, although his face was still pale.

“Ngak. Let me just.” Kriya said rebalancing her weapon. “Because you are weak.” Kriya said without pity, then began to back corner the formskitter while the other friends gathered.

“What should we do?” ask Rucira to panic.

“Then, how did you beat formskitter body parts first?” ask Bedo.

“Well, I didn't win. My brother destroyed his core and his original body. After the original body was destroyed, that part was lost.”

“So his real body is around this room?” rucira asked with a frown. “I don't feel any other formskitter in this room.”

“Ngak.” Harsa. “The original body is far away from here. I can't detect the presence of his real body.”

“Maybe your theory is correct.” I'm Bedo, even though he looks unhappy. “I can feel the physis channel that gives energy to that pile of meat.”

“Eh? Whahuh? How can I detect a opponent's physis like that?” harsa asked, because he could only detect elements, his own physis, and his physis in the environment.

Bedo's forehead wrinkled. “Increase your perception of physis deh. But, with information like this, how can we stop the formskitter?”

“How about using the entirety of your space decrees to confine that formskitter with a separate space?” Rucira.

Bede shook hard. “Cannot be. I don't master the decrees of space that far. I can only teleport.”

They were silent for a while before Harsa got the idea. “Wait a minute, how about we disconnect the supply physis from the formskitter's original body? She shouldn't have healed herself again, right?”

“Yes. The logic is so, but how can you cut the flow of physis? Do you think it's possible to manipulate someone else's physis?” Said Bedo while grinning.

“Can!” Shouted Harsa confidently while showing his blackened arms. “One of the formskitters manipulated my physis and mixed it with that formskitter physis so now my hand is like this!”

Both Rucira and Bedo instantly displayed expressions of disdain when they saw Harsa's blackened arms.

“Uh, yes. I've heard it might be possible with a high-level living decree, but Rucira said while shaking his head.

Harper looked at Aster. “How are you, Ter? What do you think you can?”

“He mastered life decree know!”

Bedo and Rucira were surprised, and Bedo laughed. “Haha, where might he master two decrees!”

Rucira looked at Aster well. “You can seriously?”

Aster's forehead is frowning in thoughts of Harsa's request. “I don't know before trying.” He said full of determination. He did not want to disappoint Harsa's expectations. “Please point me where the rope that is the source of the physis came from. I'll try to cut it.”

***

“Kriya!” Shouted Rucira out loud. “We already have a plan!”

Harsa replaced Kriya busying the formskitter as Rucira explained their plan to try to cut off the source of the physis that caused the formskitter section to continue to regenerate. Kriya shook her head while taking a breath from exhaustion. He could not believe such a plan would work.

Meanwhile, Bedo tries to teach Aster how to distinguish between physis from each creature. “Physis in the environment usually only reacts. Physis of a particular creature usually acts according to the wishes of its owner. So, you should focus on the movement of the physis and see where they come from.”

“I can feel the opponent's physis if they turn into an element.” Aster did not understand. “How can I if the physis has not changed?”

“Forget element. Focus on physis only.” Firm Bedo.

Aster concentrated fully on his aura. He forgot the fire and electromagnetic elements produced by Harsa and the meat cell elements made by their opponent's formskitter. Only physis. Physis movement. Aster closed his eyes. The physis that flowed in the room seemed like a thunderous storm, but the more he concentrated, he was able to understand the movement of the action and reaction of the physis in the room. Among the physis storms in the room, there is always a flow of physis that enters the body of the ball formskitter. He opened his eyes again. “Yes, I think I know where to cut the formskitter's physis flow.”

“Good. Are you ready?”

Aster frowns again and he imagines a new physis that is foreign in Harsa's body. He had to turn his opponent's physis into another one that they could not control. Aster shakes. “Actually no. But I have to believe I can do it. All this time, that's how I learned magic.”

“Alright, try there.” Tell Bedo without any trust in Aster though.

Aster patted, too focused on his task to realize the sarcastic tone of Bedo. He ran behind the unprotected formskitter while Harsa continuously resisted the attack and attacked the formskitter. Aster stuck out his hand and ordered the physis coming from the formskitter to be the physis coming from the environment. When Aster thought about the plan in his head, he felt it was possible. However, when he actually tried it, he felt stupid. What he tried was completely absurd. Their plan proved to be a failure when the formskitter channel exploded and threw Aster far to the end of the room.

“See, right.” Kriya said without feeling.

“Then what are you any other ideas?!” harsa shouted annoyed while dodging the formskitter bullet. “We can't fight this formskitter forever!”

“Aahh! Nevermind!” Shouted Bedo annoyed. “I'll turn my aura into a line to track the formskitter's real body. I can teleport only two people along with myself! Who will come?”

Rucira had already stepped up, but Kriya held back her hand. “That's dangerous, miss. Rucira and I will stay here.” He said to Bedo, then turned back to Rucira.  “Don't worry, I'll protect you from that formskitter.”

“Good.” Hansa replied while jumping high towards Aster. “Then I and Aster will go.”

Aster tried to get up. His head was dizzy from being hit but he did not complain. He held onto Harsa's outstretched hand to help her stand up. Kriya replaced Harsa to occupy the round formskitter.

“On the count of three, pengang bandanku!” Bedo's Order. ”One!! Two!! Three!!!”

Harsa held Aster and touched Bedo. Then he lost his orientation. Suddenly he, Aster, and Bedo were not in their test room, but they were next to a huge wall and its height was immeasurable as it was covered by clouds. Tropical forests lie on the other side. Around him the sound of metal was met with metal ringing loudly, also the smell of burnt flesh, and war cries were heard everywhere. Most terrifyingly, with his aura that only spanned two hundred meters, he had sensed ten formskitters around them.
