The Eternal War Kasarewang

The Eternal War Kasarewang
Altar of the God of Life (2)

The place was not too different from the forest they had just walked through. However, their auras said otherwise. The magic beasts from earlier scattered widely in their area were gone already, without a trace. Around them was so quiet that Harsa shuddered. They had clearly entered a different territory.

“Next where should we go?” harsa asked confusedly to her brother.

Adi shook his head. “I don't know. I'm also going here for the first time.” Adi said his eyes kept looking around vigilantly. His instincts as a trained warrior instantly rose as he entered a new place.

Harsa was not quiet. He stepped forward, even if he had nowhere to go. Adi followed him from behind. The more they got into the forest, the more rare the trees became. But the trees are getting bigger. One tree can reach twenty meters up. The sun from above is shining. But the leaves cover the sunlight.

Under the shadow of the sun, a rough lady suddenly stood there.  Harsa and Adi took a step back, being vigilant. Harsa did not know to be able to sense the aura of the woman's presence. Her expressionless face frightened Harsa. The woman is tall, the bhakan is taller than Adi. Her pale white skin looked unhealthy. His eyes were bright purple glowing in the shadows. His pink hair straight up to his waist. She was wearing a plain white dress. His feet were imprinted onto the green grasses and the ground without any footwear.

They looked at each other before finally, the Kasarewang woman finally sang to them in Kasarewang language. “Sang King has informed about your arrival today far away. Come on, come with me. I know you guys want to talk to the God of Life through our sacred altar.”

Without waiting for their reply, the lady turned around and led them without words. Harsa and Adi also followed him without words. Harsa glanced at Adi who nodded and followed her.

“He already knows our arrival from the first?” whispers Harsa confused.

“King may know from the time decree..” Adi replied.

“But then... she knew the school incident yesterday?” Harsa's forehead frowned in light of Gilda's return to the Spirit World.

“Not mean like that…. I think the King doesn't know everything.”

Their conversation was interrupted by the sight they saw. Behind the growing trunk of the trees, an old castle of stone stood up. On the second floor of the castle, there is a second floor terrace connected with a glass door. Kasarewang's aura inside the castle draws Harsa's attention to the castle, though the Kasarewang woman continues to walk through the stone castle.

The second floor glass door was wide open. From inside the castle a girl Kasarewang ran to the balcony. “Nek!!”

Harsa was surprised to see one pair of green eyes with the random straight pink hair she was familiar with. “Rucira?”

“Harsa!” Shouted Rucira happily. He leapt from the second floor casually. The grass below developed and formed a mattress to hold his body from being injured. “You CAN, play here?”

“Rucira, they didn't come here to main.” The Kasarewang woman. “Back into.”

“Ouhh.” Rucira was disappointed.

Rucira is incomplete without Kriya. He emerged from the front door and clasped Rucira's arm. “Come, login.”

“Can I not help?” asked Rucira not to go back into the house.

“I don't think it's a problem.” Harsa. “Why are you here?”

“You descendant duke?” ask Harsa in shock.

“Yes. The previous duke was my grandfather.” Rucira said it was normal.

He follows Harsa and Adi into deep into the forest. In the deeper part of the forest, there were square stones arranged into one small altar. The altar stood quietly, as if it had been untouched for hundreds of years. The leaves of the vines grew on the sidelines of that altar. The rays of the sun touched the altar gently.

“That?” Harsa's forehead is wrinkled. “Altarnya?”

“Ya.” The woman raised her hand and the plants removed themselves from the stone altar. Rucira helped.

On top of the altar, there was a very complicated stamp pattern. Harsa came to that front and touched the emblem slowly. “What should I do?”

“Put your physis there. Then, your prayers will be delivered to the God of Life.” Kasarewang answered the woman without expression.

Harsa nodded. He opened his Kai a little and flowed his physis into the symbol above the altar. Then everything was quiet. The view disappeared as everything became plain white. Forcibly, Kaiya was wide open. A power from the boundless Spirit World flowed into his body. Harsa's body rose up on the altar as an abundant foreign physis flowed through.

Harsa felt the force pressing on her that she could not stand up. He was like he was in the white marble room where Kaiya was, but now he was staring at the Spirit World that was behind Kai without the slightest barrier. Harsa knew she was looking at the Spirit World, yet her eyes were unable to catch any figure.

But he can sense one existence. The one existence waiting for him said something. Harsa need not hesitate, he is the God of Life. Harsa knew she had to ask to be healed, but her tears flowed down.

Wh why? Think Harsa. Why does Kasarewang have to fight formskitter forever? His mind bounces at Gilda. Is he there?

There is no answer to that existence. After Harsa cried, she felt relieved. Without asking, the foreign physiologies that flowed through him began to disappear. Black ash slowly came out from his hands, continuing until it returned to its original state. Clean. Without formskitter that could ever come and trap him. The shape of his vassal also changed into himself, as before. The monstrous form of his vase that was like a monster after being forced to join the missing formskitter was already. Harsa knows, she's completely healed. Then a whisper appeared in his mind. The first whisper is the knock. Calm and unobtrusive. Then another whisper appeared again with a clear voice that did not press.

“Time will answer.”

After that answer, all the physis that had emerged from the Spirit World came back through Kai's door again. Kai Harsa's door was tightly shut. His body fell down from above the altar onto the ground filled with vines. His eyes were still puffy and his cheeks were still alkaline.

Harsa opened her eyes. Adi, Rucira, and Kriya looked at him worriedly.

“Are you okay?” ask Adi.

Harsa raised her left hand which was back to how it was. He drains his physis there smoothly. With confidence, Harsa replied. “Ya.”
