The Eternal War Kasarewang

The Eternal War Kasarewang
Study Tour

Gilda smiles apologetically to Harsa, Barasa, and Elis. That day, their teacher did not enter the classroom. A fairly rare occurrence at Harsa school, especially in the third grade. However, today their classes have to work on tasks as a form of self-study. The children of Harsa's class divide themselves into groups to complete the task together. Gilda, by nature joined Elis, Barasa, and Elis.

Barasa laughing. “Finally! There is also something more stupid than me!”

“Hush. So mean to you.” Elis said he disagreed.

Two months had passed, Gilda was unable to take classes. The general education he got at the magic school was too different from Harsa High School. Gilda did not understand electricity in formulas, she understood electricity as an element. Harsa was not surprised by Gilda's level of understanding. The general knowledge that is asked in the standardization exam is only up to the elementary school level. Therefore, Gilda's values crumbled like burning paper.

“Do not dong!” Harsa said in fear. He would not dare to say such a thing to a Kasarewang soldier who could lift his head from his neck.

However, Gilda was not bothered by her values. He kept smiling at Barasa without any sign of offence though. “Then I won't be able to go to class huh?”

“Pass.” Barasa. “Iya, huh. Excuse me. I'm sure you can. Let's just share this.”

“Have. I honestly give up.” Gilda closed the matter on their ash paper and looked at Harsa with a meaningful look. “I copy yours, yes.”

Harsa's eyes twitched. He looked at Elis and Barasa who were also shocked. As bad as Barasa's performance was, the boy was seriously studying.

I just nodded in disagreement. “Don't do that, Gilda. If you don't make your own PR and assignments, how can you pass the exam?”

“Ya I will fail.” Said Gilda calmly. “Do not worry about it.” He threw a pleading gaze at Harsa once again.

Harsa sighed, then nodded. He doesn't have to worry about graduating. Harsa understood, Gilda had no intention of further living in the Material World and was only here to guard Harsa. During these two months, he carried out his duties very well. Formskitter only attacks Harsa once, and Gilda deals with him before Harsa can respond.

“Sa!!” elis protest.

“I'm not responsible yes, same value you.”

“Yey!”

They did the job in silence, of course except for Gilda. In the middle of the class, their class president came back in with a pile of papers from the teacher's room. He began to hand out the paper to each student.

“Announcement guys! Same letter to my parents! Next week should be cuddled.” He said, handing out the papers.

“What is this?” gilda asked while narrowing her eyes. He still used to read in Indonesian.

“YES!!” shouted Elis pleased. “Finally! Hu, which I was waiting for from three years ago.”

Meanwhile, Barasa sighed as he read the letter. “Mahal also.”

Harsa could not help but smile at the announcement. “Kayaknya very exciting anyway.”

Gilda nudges Harsa. “What?”

“Studi. So we're one generation going to Bali for a week on the bus. For this trip must pay, it...”.

Gilda smiled widely while giving a thumbs up. “Got. It is covered.”

Then the two looked at each other.

“Trip?” Ask Gilda again.

“Yes! We can play together with friends and work together. Exciting right?!” Elis was most excited. “Come later we all take many photos in Bali!”

“Bali is where?”

Forehead Elis frowning. “Wow. I know you're not Indonesian, but you didn't know Bali?”

Barasa and Harsa looked at each other awkwardly, while Gilda smiled apologetically. “Sorry, I'm not a slang kid.”

Elis is still suspicious, but he releases Gilda. “Yes geez. Bali is one of the islands in Indonesia. There are many beautiful beaches and mountains. What a dream vacation spot!”

Gilda nodded. “Then…. We'll spend a week there?”

High langakt Eyebrow Gilda. “Five days traveling.” Gilda said while looking at Harsa.

Harsa sighed. “I'll ask your parents first deh.”

“Hah? You're not a hundred percent going, Sa?” ask Elis not to believe it.

“Yeahh...” Kata Harsa began to upset. He remembered. The last time he went on vacation to the beach with his family, he and Adi were attacked by formskitters. Especially now that he's being targeted by formskitters. What would be her fate if she went to Bali? Isn't there no spell to seal his magic from formskitter?

“Sa, don't do dong.” Elis Pinta.

“What's the reason?” ask Barasa.

Harsa. “No, I have to talk to you first.” Harsa is heavy-hearted.

At home, she handed out announcements and letters to her parents.

“What is this?” ask Darma.

“Letter to go study tour, Ma. Must be signed.”

“Ohh.” Darma nodded, then became excited. “Hehehe, cool. What date.”

“Date seven months ahead.”

“OK, I signed yes...” Darma said without a second thought.

“What?” asked Erik who had just finished taking a shower. “What signature?”

Darma explained patiently, and Erik hesitated. “You sure?” Ask Harsa.

“Why not? It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go play with friends.”

“I know ma... I also really want to come, but. formskitter.”.

Darma's face turned grim.

“Kasarewang who controls you... what does he say?”

“Gilda? He said it would be dangerous, but it's okay if I tried. He will do his best to protect me.” Harsa recounts her meeting with Gilda after school. “He will also invite people from the magic police to watch over there.”

“If it is indeed a danger, I think it is better not.” Darma groped and squeezed Harsa's hand. “I don't want to worry like yesterday again.”

Harsa's chest immediately felt heavy. Although afraid, it turns out he really wants to follow the study tour. He just found out that he really wanted to join the study tour. Unable to be prevented, Harsa let out a long sigh.

“You really want to go, yes.”

“Iya. This is one time with friends.” Answer Harsa limp. “I promise I'll take good care of myself, Ma. Please let me go.”

Inner war rages in Darma's heart. He recalled the horror when he woke up and Harsa was nowhere for up to two weeks. However, he was also unable to ignore Harsa's pitying gaze. Darma looked at Erik for help.

“You feel worth it with all the risks?” ask Erik again.

Harsa nodded. “I want to go.” Hasa said full of determination, although her chest was also churned. “I promise take care of myself.”

Erik and Darma looked at each other, then Erik let out a long sigh. “Alright, I'll sign.”

“Yes.” Harsa's lips smiled widely. “Still, Pa! I promise to return home safely.”
