The Eternal War Kasarewang
Harsa Wijaya and Physis

The night home from studying with Elis was tired physically and mentally sleeping in an instant after touching the mattress. A few hours later, Harsa's eyes opened wide. The sun is starting to shine. Even if today is his first Saturday without an event, Harsa can not go back to sleep because he is used to waking up in the morning.

Harsa wanted to sleep again, but her efforts were in vain.

“Sa? What breakfast do you want?” ask her mother from outside the room.

“What is there, Ma!” Harsa said she still didn't want to move from her bed.

Wanting, unwilling, Harsa got out of her bed. Harsa accidentally empties out today because she has to complete her Physics and Kinia Piling PR lessons. Since morning, after breakfast, Harsa wrestled with the module all day. His mind was still mixed with yesterday's biology lessons, so working on the physics and chemistry task was getting more difficult.

“Haaaahhhh!” Harsa shouted in frustration because she did not like to settle in the room all day. “Why not finish?!! Said the SMA times were fun!”

At that moment, Harsa's bedroom door was knocked. Without waiting for Harsa's answer, Darma enters her room. “If stress is easy first. It's drinking orange juice first.” Darma hands a glass of orange juice over Harsa's desk.

“Capek, Mom. Capek school.” Grumpy Harsa.

“Udah, don't complain. Later college cooperation more tired again you know.”

Harsa sighed because Darma's words were not comforting. Harsa recalled her conversation with Elis last night. “I'm confused but ma. Whether I should go to college or the magic university in Drestha City. What do you think about mama?”

Darma's eyes blinked. Harsa was the first to ask him this question. “How do you want? I will support you, really.  Whether you want to stay here or at Drestha.”

For some reason, Harsa was relieved. “Still, Ma. But I'm actually confused as to what I want. I still want to stay in Bandung, here. I still want to feel college and work. Speaking Indonesian, eating batagor, and nasi goreng. At the same time I also want to go to Drestha to learn more about magic. I want to have a place to live in Drestha, especially for the future…. But, I also want.. well, that was.”.

Darma's forehead began to frown upon hearing Harsa's curses. “I understand your confused feelings, but that doesn't mean I have a solution. When should you go to university in Drestha?”

“Eh. I haven't asked Adi.”

“Ask first gih. Meanwhile, if I think, you just focus on studying in High School. Hold on, take a break for a while, rather than you moaning kayak earlier.”

Harsa nodded, then Darma left her alone in the room. He took his orange juice while drinking it slowly. He took his smartphone and browsed YouTube content. He was just looking for a video that could cheer him up. Of the many videos, he found one video that tells the fun fact waves and material. He did not understand and did not intend to understand the waves that far, but behind his mind he seemed to be understanding something.

Electrons are matter, but at the same time they act like waves in quantum mechanical experiments…

Fire is heated matter, but the light that arises from fire is a wave.Fire is most appropriately referred to as plasma, that is, matter that is in hot conditions. Another example of plasma is electricity….

Plasma. Thought Harsa. He put down his smartphone and then raised his palm. Carefully, Harsa lit a small flame on top of her palm. He's watching her carefully.

“This plasma.” Harsa said to herself. “Electricity that Adi created also plasma. Then, I am from the fire I created, there are heat waves and light. I can also make laser waves, and electromagnetic waves. Said Adi, I can master the other waves if you want to try to learn. Kak Adi mastered both the Decree of Matter and the Abstract Decree. Aster can also master three decrees. Are the three decrees actually related, not boundaries?”

Harsa felt she would come to a certain conclusion, but her understanding was still lacking. He recalled yesterday's biology lesson about the wide variety of living cells in the environment. Aster seems to be able to make a wide variety of living cells like that from its physis.

“It seems that abstract decrees are like plasma and waves. The tiny elements that I could see through the aura looked like subatomic particles... The material's decrees are chemicals that can be explained by the periodic table, and the living decrees are like biology lessons. Well, I don't understand how physis can give ‘live’, but if life can be explained from telomere cells. People with multiple decrees such as Adi's sister may be able to break through the boundary between waves and material because they can manipulate the pH to their electrons. Although I also do not understand why electrons can be like matter and waves at once.”

Harsa continues to watch videographics about physics because she still feels lacking in her knowledge to feel calm and get a complete understanding. Until he finally found, one term.

Theories of all things?

This theory seeks to find a frame of mind that can explain all the physical things in this world. Until now, the existence of a single frame of mind like this had not been discovered. String Theory can be the Theory of Everything, but it seems that debate is still going on everywhere between researchers. However, it seems that Theory of Everything is no stranger to Harsa's ears.

He immediately remembered the physi. Things that can be anything. Then, right then, Harsa seemed like there was a connection in Harsa's mind.

“Aahhhh!”

His confusion and unease about having to live between the magical world and the normal world of ordinary humans was answered already. The magic that Adi taught and the science that he learned in school no longer seem to contradict each other, but are two different sides of the same coin.

Adi always taught me to do magic with words like, ‘you can just feel it!’ ‘You don't need to think much how, just order! That ability is within you!’. Harsa is always confused. Now, after so many failed attempts, he understood. To be able to perform magic, he must be able to perceive magic as part of his reality. When he can already think of one magic to a thing that ‘maybe’ from ‘impossible’, he can always master the lessons from Adi easily.

Harsa put out the fire that was on top of her palm. He concentrated on ordering the physis coming out of his Kai to become an electric current.

“Blizzzttt!” A small static electricity flowed from Harsa's two fingers, and Harsa smiled in satisfaction. Imagine if the process could be a single source of power generation.

Harsa's chest was burning and vibrating passionately. “I think I know what I want to do.” Said with pleasure. “I'll find the ecuasion of physis.”
