The Eternal War Kasarewang
Testing (3)

“Not powerful yes. Next week is performing art again.” Said Elis while stretching his hand upwards.

“Ya, but before that test first.” Barasa said without taking his eyes off the Biology textbook from earlier did not also change pages.

The three of them, Elis, Harsa, and Barasa were at the dining table of Harsa's house, with their respective textbooks in front of him. One pizza pan and its snacks lay sweetly in the middle of the table. Darma, who hears that Harsa and her friends will be studying together, takes the initiative to order pizza and frills for them to enjoy while studying.

“Seriously very, Bar.” Omel Elise. “Sa, request yes.” Said Elis picking up the fries without waiting for Harsa's answer.

“Take aja.” Harsa said, still had a glance at Elis when he was busy making a summary.

“Your good, Sa, buy us pizza.” Said Elis.

Barasa gripped his pencil even harder. “Already, don't chat. Focus learning. Different from the two of you know, if I don't study seriously, can't rapot black.” Grumbles Barasa.

“Hah? No really. I also if not learn, get a bad value.” Denying Harsa.

“Part of no problem, anyway. Your grandfather won't be angry either.” Comment Elis. “Sometimes I envy you know.”

“Not about my grandfather getting angry or not, Lis. Yes, if I want to get into a good college, I have to get good grades.” Barasa.

Elis shook his head. “That's still two years away.”

Harsa was stunned to hear the conversation of two of her friends. Since she trained with Adi, she has focused on learning how to open and close Kai to improve her magic abilities. In his head, it was unthinkable that he should go to college. Learning together with friends like this, without talking about magic at all, it was like coming back to the real world. Yeah, well, anyway, he had to graduate from High School and go to college to get a job, right? Harsa should not be too focused on developing her magic alone.

“I just thought about college. Do you have a particular department that you want to pursue?” ask Harsa.

“Ngak, anyway. But getting into university is hard, right? So you have to learn from now.” Said Barasa defending himself.

“Ooohh. Yes, I agree about that.” Harsa said without a second thought.

“Your parents care about grades?” elis asked Harsa.

Elis breathed a long breath. “My parents are so firm. They always hope I get a one-year champion. I am tired of learning. They never let me do what I wanted. My mother was a doctor and went to school abroad for a scholarship, so she expected me to do the same. I don't like biology.”

Harsa nodded with understanding, even though she did not imagine how it felt. Darma is quite strict with its value, but never to suppress it. Harsa was also never forced to take certain career options.

“It was to keba-“ The words of Barasa were interrupted when Elis threw a terrible look at him.

“You too. You used to love martial arts and wanted to inherit your grandfather's martial arts college, right? But now why don't you ever talk about it again?” Without feeling it, Elis' tone changed emotionally.

“Duh, gini era who is learning martial arts?! I'm just facing the truth. I still want to continue my grandfather's martial arts college, kok!” Seru Barasa's. “But I don't want that to be my only plan. I must have another career too if I want to support my dream that!”

Harsa. “Ehm, guys. I'll take another cola. Maybe drink the cold first.” He said he immediately poured the rest of the cola on their dining table and took another bottle in the refrigerator. Realizing that the two of them were visiting people's houses, Elis and Barasa's faces turned red. Elis sighed and sipped his cola. “It's quiet?” harsa asked after the two were silent, still looking at each other with threatening gazes.

Urgh, why would the conflict between the two of them be as tense as it was against formskitter? Harsa in his heart.

“Iya, Sa.” Barasa said in the end, turning his gaze away from Elis. “Still.”

“If so, let's learn again. Tomorrow's Biology exam ten chapters.” Harsa reminded.

“Duh, don't do it. I haven't advanced from chapter 2.” Said Barasa complaining.

“But chapter 2 was the first chapter to enter the exam material.” Elis' comments further weakened Barasa's spirit.

“Iya, I know!” yelled Barasa in despair.

“Yok, can yok.” Harsa said mercilessly.

“SA! Right, yeah. If this isn't your house, I've slapped you!”

Mercilessly, Elis and Harsa laugh at Barasa's despair.
