One month later.
Gilda smiled uncomfortably while holding her suitcase in front of the school gate. He and Harsa arrive first at dawn on their departure to the island of Bali. Cursed, Harsa stood next to him.
“I don't understand why humans have to carry things with bags like this? Why don't they use the space decree to make a goods bank anyway? Or actually, if the distance is indeed far why not create a teleportation portal with a space decree?”
“I think you've realized that the majority of humans can't be aware of magic.”
“Umm! I mean, why didn't they introduce her to the public?!”
Harsa. “That would mess up the science that has been built by humans. After all, without magic, humans have made many amazing things.”
While Harsa was talking, the buses that would take them to Bali came. The buses lined the front yard of their school. Gilda looked at the bus in amazement.
“What is it?” Every day, Gilda comes to school by teleportation. He hardly ever visits the streets of the world.
“That bus.” Hansa was not interested.
Gilda admired the buses with a frown. “Wow! Humans can get in there?!” he said he was surprised to feel a human in a bus through his aura! They also spewed out those humans!”
Harsa shook her head. The boy was too sleepy to explain. Before long, the teachers began to divide them into buses based on the class. Harsa and Gilda got on bus 2 because their friends had not yet arrived. On the bus, Harsa put her backpack on the front of the bus, then said to Gilda.
“Please help me can not?”
“Ya, sure, what?”
“Sit behind me, yeah. Keep on taking you to sit with you, just. So I can sit down with Ellis.”
Gilda's eyebrows rose, yet without commenting anything she nodded. “Oke.” He said as he put his bag on the seat behind Harsa's chair.
The teachers gathered them back for a briefing before leaving for a vacation. In the school grounds, Harsa and Gilda meet the newly arrived Barasa.
“Yo!” Call Barasa with a big smile. “Finally today came too!” Said excited.
“Yes! This trip will definitely be tense once!” Sahut Gilda's.
“Tense? Why tense?”
“Ngak, not nothing.” Denying Harsa panic. “By the way, where is Elis?”
Just checked his phone. “Not answered yet. Waking up late. My message has not been answered.”
“Yes, geez! If you miss it, how?”
Barasa. “No, he won't be that bad.”
Elis had just arrived by the time they were already waiting for departure on the bus. He came hastily with disheveled hair. However, the smiles on her eyes and lips still made her look naturally beautiful. Unfortunately, Harsa's plan fails miserably as Elis arrives late. Barasa immediately put his bag next to Harsa.
Before Harsa protested, Barasa looked at her, and said. “Ngak, Sa. I will not follow your game.”
Therefore, Elis sat next to Gilda comfortably. “Thank you.”
A few hours later, ninety percent of the children on Harsa's class bus were asleep. All try to restore the energy that was sucked in by waking up early. However, amidst that calmness, Gilda stood up. He came out patting the shoulder of Harsa who was asleep in the chair in front of him.
“Woahh.” Harsa's awake.
“Do you not feel it?” ask Gilda.
Harsa tried to concentrate on her aura. Then, his waiting was sweating coldly. “They came.” Previously, he had hoped that the risks he talked about with Erik and Darma would never come. Harsa is wrong. Just a few hours into this trip, the formskitters had already attacked him.
“Then?” gilda asked as she opened the transparent hood towards the Edge of the Spirit World. The scenery on the edge of the Spirit World seemed blurry due to the extremely high speed of the bus. “Don't say you're afraid of jumping at speeds like this.”
“We will be left behind!” harsa said in panic. His voice started to loud and woke Elis.
“Guys? What's up?” elis asked half-conscious.
“Don't worry about that! We don't have much time! We must defeat that formskitter before he attacks the Material World!”
“But-!”
Gilda pulls Harsa into the Edge of the Spirit World. The scenery turned from a highway into a vast valley with mountains in the distance. The creeping tree-shaped formskitter took root in the middle of that valley. He moved with his roots.
The Formskitter was busy fighting against two humans. The formskitter attacked them with its sharp, fast-moving roots. Harsa instantly knew they were human from how they fought without aura. One of the men, doesn't even control his own physiology. He controlled the physis of one large agate in the middle of his long spear. That was what made him able to stand in high pressure at the Edge of the Spirit World. One of the other manusla fights like Aster. He controls the physis throughout his body, but does not convert the physis into elements. He changed the elements around him, especially, the gravitational element. Harsa couldn't feel the element of gratification, but she drew that conclusion from how the woman floated. Each hammer blow was much heavier than it should have been. Roots
“They fought recklessly because they had no aura to check where the core of the forsmkitter was.” Said Gilda instantly strengthening her legs with physis and running towards the fight.
“The essence is in the root!” Shouted Harsa felt a considerable physis felt there.
“Maybe the core is fake, sih.” Mumbled Gilda.
The two humans heard Harsa's voice and nodded. They begin to synchronize their attacks towards the root part of the formskitter. The man used his spear to dismember the sharp roots that attacked them. The woman began to attack the ground. His powerful attack shattered the soil and rocks that enveloped the roots of the formskitter. Down there, there was a black core of formskitters that they had to destroy.
Gilda opened her Kai wide. His aura suppressed Harsa and made her break out in cold sweat. His aura suppressed and made standing on the edge of the Spirit World much more difficult. At that moment, Harsa realized that Gilda's aura was far more terrifying than Adi's. Gilda's friendly smile is gone already because
He took out a two-bladed sword from empty space. Gilda exerted a large amount of his physis into her sword. From a distance away, he slashed at the core of the formskitter with a physis that made his sword double as long. The core of the formskitter was split into two, before it shattered into pieces. Then, the body of the fromskitter was turned into ashes.
“Fiuh.” Gilda said. “I didn't expect it to be that easy.”
“Easy for you.” Says the man.
“I haven't even had time to take out my sword.” Mumbles Harsa.
“Yah, already. Nice’ if easy.” Said the female human who then sheathed her hammer. “Let's go from here. Tired once standing on the Edge of the Spirit World.”
“Good.” Gilda again opened the transparent hood and they stepped to the side of the road outside the city on the island of Java. The male witch's long spear turned into a keychain when they were already at the Spirit World Bank.
“It feels more comfortable.” The witch said.
Harper looked at them confused. “Are you from the magic police?”
“Ya!” Answer the witch. “My name is Lisa and this is Edi, my boss. We're watching you from yesterday. Don't worry, we will also keep an eye on you during the study of this tour.”
The word watching made Harsa feel a little uncomfortable. “Uhh. Yep. Greetings. But, so how can we get back inside the bus?”
“We take the car in the back. We're gonna go after that bus. Your tour study schedule will eat at the Chicken Bakar restaurant right? We will drive the car there.” Said Edi.
Lisa drives quickly and gets to the restaurant before her class bus arrives, so Harsa and Gilda have to hide in the toilet until their friends start to break into the restaurant.
“Harsa?” elis asked as he became aware of Harsa's presence in the restaurant. “What happened?!”
“What? I'm new from toilet.” Harsa said nervously.
Elis' forehead is wrinkled. “Ngak. I mean, I saw you disappear from the bus.”
Harsa doesn't know what to answer.
