The Eternal War Kasarewang

The Eternal War Kasarewang
School End Exams (3)

Not wrong again, the man with pale skin is a human who smuggles into the room of Harsa in Bali. Half his face was blackened by formskitter. His calm steps made Harsa even more frightened.

Not just because he knew he was dealing with a formskiter, but because he couldn't feel anything from the man. With her aura, Harsa can sense the movement of elements and physiologies, especially if she is alert. However, Harsa was unable to sense the existence of the formskitter man at all.

“Hei! Kids hours now have to sleep.” Said the man calmly.

“You are not a teacher.” Reject Harsa while stepping forward.

The smile of the man felt terrible. He doesn't feel human anymore, even though he's human. In fact, Elis doesn't know anything about magic, but he realizes that there is something wrong with that person.

“What's with him?” ask Elis worried. More worried about the man's circumstances than his own safety.

“Are you still human?” harsa asked, as she did not feel the man could control himself.

The first time he met a human who joined the formskitter, Adit was still talking like a human.  Both times, she meets the men who joined the formskitter when she was kidnapped. The human being who at that time looked conscious and turned into someone else when the formskitter took over. However, this human, he looks like a formskitter.

“You know... Your name is Harsa, right? Have you not faced enough of the world of Kasarewang who always considers lowly humans? Don't you want to destroy them? You can destroy them by helping our research.”

“Kasarewang?” ask Elis.

“What?! Nope! I will not fight my own father and brother!” Harsa shook her head because her persuasion made absolutely no sense.

“You think you can say no?”

“Ya!” Shouted Harsa as he advanced.

The plant-shaped formskitter came out of his right hand containing the core of the formskitter. The tree trunk grew leaves and was thrown towards Harsa at high speed, They were sharp like iron. Harsa was able to block them by passing the physis to her left hand, but Harsa was not aware that the leaves were being thrown towards Elis. He wasn't fast enough to dodge that stray attack. The leaves struck Elis's neck and hands. Red blood flowed from there.

“Aaahhh!!” Elis shouted out in pain and shock. Elis fell to his knees. His whole body was shaking with fear. He felt he had just plunged into a nightmare, which felt so real.

“Elis!” Harsa turned around to make sure that Elis was okay. He held Elis with both hands. Fear, worry, and guilt take over Harsa's heart. He was ready to fight formskitter, but he was not ready to see his friend hurt, let alone Elis.

“Harsa!” Edi climbs the school pillar which goes into the second-floor veranda by climbing the school pillar. “Bring that formskitter to the Edge of the Spirit World! I'll help Elis.”

Harsa nodded. With a heavy heart, Harsa left Elis for Edi. He leaped onto the transparent hood towards the Edge of the Spirit World. The vast valley in which became the natural place of their school. Again, the formskitter bloomed into a three-meter-tall giant tree. Again he bears fruit as praying mantises that Lisa is facing alone.

Harsa ignored Lisa who had difficulty confronting the praying mantises. He directly landed himself on the tree-shaped formskitter root bawar. Harsa made her white sword with much better precision now. He slashed at the roots of the monster to find the humans buried within. Just twice a slash, one of the giant roots rose and hit Harsa's stomach until she slammed back and dragged on the ground.

“Ugh.” Harsa immediately got back up because her entire body, except for her hands, was protected by physis.

As soon as he got up, Harsa was directly faced with three giant wolf-sized praying mantises. The praying mantis directly attacked Harsa with her scythe on the right. Harsa dodged to the left, then Harsa stepped forward, and swung her sword to the right. He easily split the giant grasshopper into two halves. Harsa moved her sword into her left hand, then fired a laser to destroy the two praying auctions. He had to move his sword as it could not drain the physis into his left arm.

“Harsa!” Call Lisa for help. He had difficulty in having to face five praying mantises at once. Lisa struck them by changing the surrounding gravitational force so that her body weight was light as a feather. However, his hammer blow still cracked the hard skin of the praying mantis. Not as powerful as Harsa's laser attack, but enough to make the praying mantis unable to move for a while.

Harsa launches a laser that destroys some of the prayer bars, but she can't help Lisa keep going if she wants to destroy the formskitter. He had to save his physis to win this fight. Harsa refocused on the formskitter tree trunk. If only he had alignment with the Material Decree, he could move the earth element from afar to destroy the core of the formskitter.

Or. I suppose Aster is here…

Harsa shook her head and focused on the matter before her. The praying mantis is growing in number. The trees continued to bear black fruit and it felt like the praying mantis even felt like a lot of ants. Harsa's forehead is wrinkled. Now he can't even get close to that formskitter.

He continuously dodged the attacks of the praying mantis while looking for a gap to fire the laser at the roots of the formskitter tree. Harsa was anxious for one of his attacks to hit the formskitter core, but from the formskitter's state, his attacks were ineffective.

Harsa was getting pushed back. He slashed the praying mantises a hundred times, but he kept pushing back. Over time, Harsa's hand felt numb from slashing too many of the formskitter praying mantis. Harsa can fight all day with these praying mantises, but she will lose the power reserve to end it.

“Ughh...” Harsa began to despair. “Lis! We must combine forces to men-”

Harsa's words stopped when she saw Lisa's pale face, which with all her strength had only survived to be torn in two by the attack of the praying mantis. Lisa did not rely on the amount of physis to fight. He just moved and changed the elements. However, it seems that controlling the element also eats up its power. Plus, Lisa is not used to standing on the Edge of the Spirit World.

I have to go there myself. Thought Harsa was sweating coldly. The tree-shaped formskitter was getting farther and farther from second to second. It has to be quick, before Lisa is completely exhausted and severely injured. Do I have to spend all my physis to attack the roots of that formskitter tree?

Harsa hesitates, as she does not know how Gilda is currently. When he first entered the Spirit World Bank, his aura could detect Gilda was fighting with the other formskitters. However, their fight had moved so far that Harsa had lost track of them. Harsa wasn't sure she could help Gilda if she spent her energy here.

Harsa shook her head. He can't doubt. Lisa's betting here. Harsa had prepared his entire physis to produce a giant laser three meters in diameter to destroy the entire praying mantis and formskitter the tree with the moment you attack. However, he stopped.

Transparent hood on top back open. From there, Edi and Barasa descend into the battlefield right in front of Harsa.
