The Love of Habib

The Love of Habib
Chapters 13.10

Hearing habib's words, his body involuntarily stiffened. The work is too busy and they rarely relax. If habib Khalid adds again then their leisure time will never come!

"No, not at all. Sorry, habib." Please be embarrassed and nervous.

Habib Khalid nodded lightly without a sound. He glanced at Aish's curious face across the street before turning around to leave the food stand. As Habib walked, he was immediately followed by another supervisor to immediately carry out night patrols. While the rest remain on the edge of the food booth watching the santri and santriwati.

"Next time stop talking about rumors in front of habib. Ustazah only women do not talk much, then why are you men actually talk more?" Reprimand one of the supervisors.

Because this ustad too much to talk and disturb the peace of the habib. Because of his talkative mouth, habib Khalid became uncomfortable.

In fact, habib Khalid honestly has a special place in this cottage. He was not the owner, but his treatment was almost the same as the owner and he was also not a relative of the owner, but his existence here was very proud of everyone as if he was the Abah family.

Habib's position here is not close nor far away. It's all still groped, but complicated. Everyone only knows if habib Khalid is highly respected by Abah and Umi, as the owner of the boarding school.

"Sorry, ustad. Next time I won't repeat it." His promise was earnest in front of the senior ustad.

...****...

Habib Khalid left, Aish was disappointed. He was not satisfied to see the man of his heart. If it wasn't too crowded here or they weren't at the food booth, Aish would have approached the habib to say hello.

"God, Habib Thalib was looking at Nadira. Must be habib Thalib pangling look at Nadira's beauty." Those annoying voices enter Aish's hearing again.

What the fuck saw it? Habib Khalid was clearly looking at it earlier, Aish thought.

"You don't talk nonsense..." Her mouth spoke like that but the red hue on her face was a hint that she approved of this girl's words.

"What the hell. Habib Thalib's eyes were looking at Aish, not someone else. Why is he acting so wrong?" Said Dira exasperated by those voices.

Those people were not far from their seats, so they could hear what they were talking about.

"I think Nadira likes the same habib Thalib." Whisper Gisel to the two of them.

Dira smiled wryly,"So what? Habib Thalib likes our Aish instead of him, so he or the others can't do anything."

Dira's attitude is a bit harsh but Aish and Gisel like him a lot. Usually Dira will play dumb with them, acting silly and strange, Aish almost thought if this is the personality of his best friend.

But looking at it now, it's completely untrue.

"Dir, you're right. But don't say these words to others because they may not be able to accept them." Gisel reminded.

Dira knows too.

Dira did not hate Nadira, no, as a woman he even admired her very much. Nadira is young but his achievements are extraordinary, his knowledge is broad, and more importantly he is a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad.

Yes, for Dira, the latter is much more important.

But even so, Dira still felt that Nadira was a bit annoying. Again not because of his lineage, but because of the impression he felt at this moment.

Well, seeing Nadira instantly reminded Dira of Aira. The two-faced girl who has haunted her best friend's life all along. Honestly, Dira loves Aish and Gisel. He loved them both as brothers and friends. Truly, ever since feeling this feeling of affection he wished that they would not be sick or hurt again. He said that they had had enough of those years.

While here and in this place, he wanted them to live happily without any more anxiety.

"I heard that every offspring has its own advantages that God has bestowed upon them." Gisel said carefully.

Aish nodded in knowing. He also heard it.

Again, Dira could only smile.

"Allahu'alam, it may be true. Yet those who are truly admirable are the descendants who broaden their knowledge and share it with all of us in need. Honestly, I felt a sense of admiration and respect when dealing with Abah or Habib Talib because they might carry out their duties as descendants of the Prophet. They have two auras that I do not understand but for sure, my heart is comfortable when I meet and I really respect them. And I have also met other descendants but I felt nothing when dealing with them. I don't know why but for sure, that awe and respect didn't grow in my heart."

Dira used to meet some people who were said to be descendants of the Prophet Muhammad. He didn't know if it was true or not because at that moment he didn't care much about it. But certainly what he felt at that time was indeed quite flat as if he was dealing with humans in general.

"All right, stop talking about it. About how we feel about them, enough Allah SWT who knows. As long as we don't bother or drop, I don't think Allah SWT will be angry with us." Aish said stopping this topic.

According to him, this topic of conversation is too sensitive especially for those who are classified as still far from religion.

The food finally came and naturally everyone's attention was diverted from the topic. While eating a few times Dimas sees Aish from the opposite booth to attract attention. But Aish did not notice him at all because his stomach was already rumbling from earlier and was very hungry.

But it is different with Dira. From where he sat he could see firsthand how ridiculous Dimas's attitude was across the street. Dimas often raised his head and even called out Aish's name, but Aish could not hear him.

Suddenly I felt Aish more suited to Habib Thalib. Inner Dira distracted.

If Aish is the same habib Khalid, then no one will look down on his friend. Including the family of the father who had neglected Aish since childhood, Dira believes Aira must be very angry and jealous if habib Khalid can be with Aish.

Well, how about just this? Thought supportive.

"Aish, you are very compatible with Habib Thalib. I think you deserve it more." Said Dira suddenly.

Aish stunned. He looked at Dira strange and happy because his best friend's eyes were very good!

"Dira, your eye tumben is good!"
