Chapters 18.5

They finally arrived in front of the princess dormitory building. To avoid spying on others, Aish accidentally stops under the front tree of the dorm building. The tree was quite large and shady, though, the lighting outside was also very limited and tonight it happened to be starless overcast so the people inside the dormitory building could not clearly see that there were two people of the opposite sex standing in under that tree at the moment.

Standing under the tree Aish removed his hand from the hem of Khalid's habib. His face was no longer wet but that red hue was extremely difficult to remove. Unfortunately this night is so dark and the lighting of the lights is limited that habib Khalid cannot see the red tinge on Aish's beautiful face.

Even walking up to here Aish's heart doesn't stop beating fast. Aish was still nervous side by side with the habib.

"Just get here, brother. I can walk alone inside."

Habib Khalid smiled widely and his big hand then explained touching the top of Aish's head. Gently handles. Aish reflex closed her apricot eyes, feeling a gentle touch on the top of her head.

Aish's eyelashes trembled gently and slowly the eyelids opened wide, raised staring straight at that flawless face that was dominated by the darkness of night.

"Don't you want to know why I'm crying?" Ask Aish carefully.

He's just thinking about it now. Suddenly Habib Khalid pulled him into the arms of the road and never asked anything. Habib just asked her to keep crying and shed her tears. Lying if Aish does not feel when this attention warms her heart.

And there was a question in his heart. Since when did Habib Khalid follow him?

Has he been out of that room since?

Or did Habib Khalid actually listen to the conversation between himself and Dad?

Which is the answer to both of these questions Aish can't guess. Because from the beginning the habib has never issued a word of question about the problem.

"So you want to tell me now?" Ask the Habib back instead of answering.

Aish frowned refusing.

"No, it's embarrassing for me."

It was enough for Habib Khalid to listen to his debates with his two aunts this afternoon. The rest Aish did not want the habib to know the silly side in his family. He did not want to leave a bad impression and he also did not want Habib Khalid to look at him with a look of pity.

"If it's embarrassing, then why are you crying so hard?" Asked the habib with a smile that was not a smile in his eyes.

Aish's lips immediately shriveled with a frown, "That's because this matter is so embarrassing and I don't want Khalid's brother to find out."

Both of Aish's eyes instantly became sad, he turned his face away pretending to look towards the dorm building. Although it is dark now somehow Aish always has intuition if the habib can actually see the shortcomings at this time.

"All right, let's go back. You should go to bed soon to rest because tomorrow you will work hard in the fields."

Reminded of tomorrow, Aish immediately hopes that tomorrow will never come. Moreover, tomorrow he had to meet with Aira who was officially staying in the boarding house.

"It's very annoying, but I have to live it with my two best friends." Said Aish pouting.

Habib Khalid continued to be amused to hear it. It's funny to hear Aish complain because he usually always pretends to be tough.

"Don't complain. It was the fault of the three of you. So whatever the consequences the three of you will have to bear no matter if it is heavy or light. Understood?" Said the habib rebuking Aish. But the tone of his voice was not at all firm, even impressed soft.

Aish also knew it was the fault of the three of them so she did not make any more rebuttal sounds.

"Em, brother Khalid?" Call doubtful.

"Why, still want to cry?" Ask habib.

"No, really. I don't cry at people!" Deny Aish prestige.

She clasped tightly onto her robe to vent out how nervous she was at the moment. It was purely a selfish desire from his heart. He just wants to clarify it.

"Last noon my parents sent Aira here and starting from tomorrow she will stay in this boarding school as well." Said Aish in a cautious tone.

Habib Khalid frowned in confusion.

"Who?"

Aish answered quickly, "Aira, sis."

"Yes, who's Aira? I don't know." Said habib Khalid flat.

Aish was immediately stunned to hear it. Does habib Khalid not remember Aira? But yes, anyway?

They had just met this afternoon and he was sure that the habib saw Aira this afternoon in front of the office.

"She was my sister from a different mother. We met when we went to town first. Brother Khalid didn't forget, did he?" Aish explained with a stutter.

But even though he explained the habib had absolutely no idea who Aira was and the possibility of him completely forgetting. Aish was a bit confused but at the same time he was also very happy because the figure of his sister who was always charming in the eyes of people was not quite visible in the eyes of the habib.

And now Aira has removed her veil so maybe this is why the habib does not know her.

Aish bit her lips feeling the euphoria of pleasure in her heart.

"Today he didn't use a veil when he came here and most likely he won't use a veil during his stay here."

Aish involuntarily shrunk her neck in fear.

Then he hooked it up again, "What's the point of telling me about another girl?"

"Ah... Sorry, sis. I have to get back to the dorm before the gates close. Brother Khalid good night, don't forget to dream of me. assalamualaikum!" After that he then turned to flee from the habib.

Dangerously thought. The habib's flat voice is like an alarm reminder in his head that he must get out of the way if he does not want to be preyed upon. It is instinctive to survive when it is threatened. Silly indeed but that was how it felt just a moment ago.

"Aish!" In the hallway of Aish's dormitory is suddenly startled by Dira and Gisel.

They deliberately surprised Aish and immediately laughed out loud when they saw the pouting face of his best friend.

"Where are you? Why did you just come home at this hour?" Tanya Dira interrogated with her jutek expression.

It's almost 10:00 p.m., it's a little late that the gate of the dormitory will be closed and Aish will get a points deduction if caught late coming home.

"You know I was called." Answer Aish pout.
