Dad suddenly came home ahead of schedule. Mommy thinks because the work at the office is done, that's why her husband came home sooner. But when she saw her husband's pale face, her facial expression turned worried.
"Let's go to the boarding house." Urge Dad while taking out a change of clothes from his closet.
Mother's heart immediately pounded.
"Why do we go to the boarding house, Dad? Did something happen to Aira there?" Ask Mother in panic but has not moved to change her clothes.
"So that's called me. He said Aira got into trouble at the boarding school and was sent to a hospital for treatment. This matter is quite big and concerns the good name of the boarding school, so he asked us to come because there will be a trial involving our daughter." He answered, stopping his hand from taking clothes.
He did not know what kind of problem Aira was facing. But judging from Abah's serious tone of voice, he suspected that the matter was very serious. Dad asked what the problem was, but Abah refused to answer and asked him to come to the boarding house immediately. Hearing the orders from Abah, she did not delay the time and immediately went home to watch for some change of clothes.
"Astagfirulah... Dad, Aira was rushed to the hospital? What happened to our daughter? How can the boarding school be negligent and make our daughter have an accident there?" Hearing Aira had an accident in the boarding school until she was rushed to the hospital, Mother immediately hysterical between anger and sadness because the daughter she raised carefully did not have a good life outside the city.
"The word explains nothing. He just said that this matter had something to do with Aish as well. So we have to get there as their guardians." Said Dad helpless.
Both of his daughters had problems in the boarding house. One was taken to hospital, while the other did not know. Dad's heart was mixed thinking about it. She wonders, could it be that Aish has done something to Aira to get her rushed to the hospital.
"Did Aish bother Aira again?" Ask Mother wrathfully.
"I don't know."
Mother shook her head in disbelief, "I told you not to send Aira to the same boarding school as Aish! He would never live happily with Aish! Aira will be constantly bullied by Aish, she will be harassed and hurt by Aish. But why don't you understand what I mean?! Did you forget how Aira suffered when Aish was home? My daughter never lived happily and even her life was threatened! He almost died, but why didn't you ever take a lesson from this? Look now what's going on. The problem was repeated and Aira had to be rushed to the hospital. I don't know how he is now. I hope it's not as bad as I thought. But Dad, if something really happened to Aira or even her life was threatened, then I will never forgive Aish again. It's been quite the suffering my daughter has endured at home. As a father, you must give justice to my daughter. Get Aish out of this house and don't let him come back to this house. If not, then I will leave this house with my daughter. We don't want to have a relationship with the man who nearly killed my daughter!" Mommy made the promise with a loud voice full of emotion.
"Who let you leave this house! Brother and Aira can't leave this house. The one who deserves to leave this house is Aish. He is a disaster, a disgrace, and a problem that constantly haunts our family. I know how much she suffered seeing Aira being bullied by Aish, I know, and that's why you don't deserve to leave this house. Aish should have left. He doesn't deserve to be in this house!" Auntie suddenly opened the room door and went inside.
At first the aunt did not want to eavesdrop on the talk of Father and Mother because it was a matter of their household. He thinks the one who deserves to leave this house is Aish. A family scourge that must be immediately dispensed so as not to cause other problems.
"Enough, what you just said!" Dad yelled at aunt.
"What I said is true, brother. Want to see when big brother lets Aish intimidate Aira constantly? Doesn't brother have pity on seeing Aira? After all, what was said was true that Aish was the problem in this house while Aira was luck.
"Don't say anything more. The issue is not yet clear the truth. It's possible that Aira got into the hospital for a reason that has nothing to do with Aish." Said Dad while packing his clothes.
His position is very difficult. He can't choose whether to defend Aira and expel Aish. To him they were both his flesh blood, his most precious treasure in this world. He could not afford to lose any of them and he was unable to choose any of them. He doesn't want to choose.
"Oh yeah, we'll see. If Aish really hurt Aira, I'll drive her out of this house myself. And I'll come with you to the boarding house. I can't believe he didn't do it, huh." That way the aunt went straight out of Dad's room to pack her things in the room.
