The Love of Habib
Chapters 3.3
Aish, Dira, and Gisel slow to process the words of habib Khalid. They think their ears have a problem rather than believing what they just heard.
"What are you waiting for?" Habib Khalid turned to look at them.
Whether intentional or not, his black eyes moved sweeping across Aish with a flat expression on his face. The smile that had been on his lips had now evaporated somewhere. Aish never saw Habib Khalid lose his smile because he was always smiling everywhere and to anyone. He thought habib Khalid was the one who would always smile no matter what. Not because habib Khalid was mentally ill but because habib Khalid had a soft and friendly heart. He is not at all concerned with outsiders or foreigners.
Therefore seeing Habib Khalid without a smile this time unconsciously made Aish panic and feel afraid. He did not dare look directly into the black eyes of Habib Khalid. I don't know, he always felt that habib Khalid was not an easy person.
"Habib.this is almost 5 p.m. We have to get back to the dormitory and clean up." Said Aish with his head bowed.
Habib Khalid smiled, "If you don't waste time then you should be able to return to the dormitory half an hour later. Now down. Pick some kale vegetables to make a side dish tonight." Habib Khalid said with the same smile.
Dira and Gisel were confused by the sudden change in situation. They were scared and unhappy but chose silence. Leave this task entirely to Aish to negotiate.
Aish felt that the tone of Habib Khalid's voice was not right. His voice was not as warm as before even though he still had a smile on his lips.
"This is a small punishment for your little debate." Habib answered generously.
Aish, Dira, and Gisel are having a little debate,"...." This was obviously a mockery for the three of them.
Aish and Gisel compactly glanced at Dira, the perpetrator who claimed to only do a small debate. Dira's mouth twitched in shame. He scratched his non-itchy nose to cover up the embarrassment.
"I was just forced to be the spokesperson..." Whisper Dira defending himself.
"We're just arguing small, habib. Besides we didn't do anything to harm the boarding school." Aish said.
Habib Khalid still stood quietly and replied with a calm tone of voice, "It is necessary to note that the small debate between the three of you is quite unusual. TKP your little debate looks a little chaotic. You damage the ready-to-harvest chili plants, leave the soil excavation in some places, and shout with a high volume of sound. If I conclude well, rather than believing you are arguing a little, I believe even more when you are brawling there. Aish and the others could not deny everything that habib Khalid had said. But for Aish himself it is not his fault because he thinks this is the other two. Em, although far from his heart he admitted if this was his fault too but he was reluctant to admit it. Dira and Gisel were like that too. They know they are guilty too. But according to Dira, Aish was the most guilty while according to Gisel, Dira was the one who was guilty. If Dira doesn't bother Aish first then this mess will never happen.
