The Love of Habib

The Love of Habib
Chapters 7.10

"Don't talk nonsense! I'm not as good as you think I am. Rather than asking for help from me, it's better to ask Auntie for help." Doctor Ira can't help and even if he can, he won't help Khalisa either.

"I will also ask him for help..."

Perhaps due to illness, Khalisa became much more whiny and spoiled. His mouth did not stop talking and continued to whine for help from Ira's doctor. Ira's doctor's ears are hot because he's sick of listening to the same request.

"Khalisa, stop! Otherwise, I'll call your mom and tell her what happened to you here." Threaten doctor Ira upset.

Hearing the threat of doctor Ira, Khalisa immediately closed his mouth while looking at his older cousin with a dissatisfied expression.

Khalisa is afraid that his parents and other families know what is going on here, especially for his grandparents, he could not let them know because they were the only hope of getting close to the Habib of Thalib. Because grandparents have a fairly close relationship with the owner of this boarding school.

"Sister Ira..."

Doctor Ira rolled his eyes lazily. He tidied up his cousin's blanket, checked his left wrist to make sure that the needle was okay and there was no more bleeding in the infusion tube.

"Sleep. I'll wake you up again when the time for the medicine comes." Said gently.

After that he closed the door to Khalisa's room and walked back to his desk. Sitting languidly in place, Ira's doctor looked at her phone screen filled with messages, but not a single reply from the person she was waiting for.

Sigh, though,

He's disappointed. It had been a week or so that he had not heard from the man and it had been a week or so that the man had not replied to his message. If not for that person suddenly disappearing, then he probably wouldn't have dared to send a message to her.

"Try again."

He picked up his phone again and looked for the person's mailbox that was still not in reply.

Assalamualaikum, habib Thalib. This is Ira, the cabin clinic doctor. Ira had not seen Thalib's habib in the boarding house for a long time and Ira was worried that something might happen to Habib. Ira does not know how habib Thalib is doing now...well, Ira wants to know if habib Thalib is okay?

Send.

Ira's doctor's thumb clicked on send, and the message was finally sent. After sending the message his heart could not stop pounding waiting for Habib Khalid's next reply.

Waiting. 5 minutes have passed. Then 3 more minutes. And then another 5 minutes, no reply.

"Hemph..." He put his cell phone on the table.

Sitting leaning against a chair while staring at the monotonous ceiling of the hut clinic with a monotonous mood as well, he was disappointed.

His slender hand raised in front of him then slowly fell over his chest, feeling the disappointment that had mushroomed ever since his heart had grown feelings for the habib.

His eyes were closed weakly, "When I've been here for you..." Mumbled sad.

...****...

"Hows it? Has Aish not contacted sister?" Ask Auntie to Dad.

Today is a holiday in the cottage and usually on holidays the students or santriwati will line up in front of the office to borrow a phone in order to contact the family in the hometown.

"No, he must be very busy." Answer me calmly.

Aunt rolled her eyes irritated.

"I've guessed he won't call brother. He was born insolent and ungodly. Even the boarding school has trouble educating her!" Angry Aunt hates Aish.

He is very angry and always looks upset at whatever Aish is doing. Whether good or bad, for him Aish was never right. Aish is always wrong, always bad, and always useless. His presence is a scourge for families to be rid of. Now she had been in the boarding house but aunt was still unsettled and unsatisfied. He is not calm before Aish no longer involves their family!

"She must be so angry that she won't call home." Another aunt chimed in.

It's just a trivial matter. No need to exaggerate actually.

"Even if he's angry, he's-"

"Don't be too biased." Grandfather's calm voice instantly attracted everyone's attention.

Grandfather stood weakly in front of the entrance with grandma. His old eyes looked at his son and daughter whom he had painstakingly raised. Then look at the daughters-in-law who sit with their respective partners.

"Aish's wounds are not easy to cure. We've been robbing her of happiness since her mother died and now we're also pushing her mercilessly to a place she hates" Sighing deeply, her old eyes turned to granny's face.

Grandma was very embarrassed and could not say a word. Ever since they sent Aish to the boarding school, grandfather always looked at grandma with a complicated look and there was disappointment there. And since then anyway, grandfather kind of kept his distance from grandma and everyone. Be alone and make the atmosphere of the house uncomfortable.

"Grandfather and grandmother of his mother's family said that Aish's life would not be the responsibility of our family anymore. In other words he's been detached from us even though we resisted..." Grandpa's eyes were very red from sadness.

"So don't make trouble again.don't make trouble again..." Grandfather repeated these words until he finally entered the room.

Leaving his children was also his wife's uncomfortable feeling.

Especially for a father who has long ignored his affection for his first daughter. It was only after Aish left this house that she realized how lonely this house was without the presence of her first daughter.

"I'm going out." Dad immediately got up from his seat and went out of the house to calm his heavy mood.

...****...

At 9 am Aish, Dira, and Gisel are called to Umi's house to carry out their assigned duties. They set off with an unknown senior brother but had a very friendly and gentle attitude. They are comfortable communicating with him.

"Come inside. Umi's waiting for you in the kitchen." Said the girl giving orders.

"Okay, brother. Thanks for the help today." Gisel said politely.

The girl smiled, nodded lightly to them and then went to the front yard to help the others clear the courtyard.

"Let's go." Aish said while leading the way with confidence.

Among the three of them, the only person who had ever met and talked to Umi was Aish. So Aish has a pretty high self-confidence right now.
