The Love of Habib

The Love of Habib
Chapters 18.3

In the evening after finishing the prayer and dinner, everyone immediately returned to their respective dormitories. But in the middle of the road Aish was suddenly summoned by one of the disciplinary staff of the princess dormitory. The staff asked him to go to the office immediately because there were guests looking for him there. Confused, Aish then goes to follow the staff walking while wondering who is the guest looking for these nights. He believed that it was not from his father's family because people said that the family had come back from earlier, after all what were they looking for from him? He was not the Aira that the family had expected.

Oh, speaking of Aira since coming home from the market has not gotten any news. Maybe he was at Umi's house. Because when I first came to the boarding school, Aish was also in Umi's house before being sent to the dorm room to settle down.

Honestly, Aish did not care at all and instead hoped that the child would not attend school here. It would also be very unlucky if they were confined in the same place again as at home, turkey ice if the arrival of Aira would affect his life as before.

"Come in, the man is waiting for you." After saying so the staff immediately turned around leaving Aish alone standing in front of the office entrance.

Aish looked at the departure of the staff with a frown. Then he entered the room after politely knocking on the door.

"Assalamualaikum, sorry to interrupt" his voice immediately choked when he saw who was waiting for him inside.

Father and Mother-Oh, call her stepmother.

Seeing them Aish's mood instantly became complicated. Especially when he saw his father's old face that was much thinner than a month ago. Seeing Dad wasn't like seeing his two aunts this afternoon. If both of her aunts leave a sour taste and pain in her heart because of hatred, then Dad just leaves a lonely and lonely feeling, lying if Aish says that he does not miss her. The fact is Aish misses this guy a lot.

"Waalaikumsalam, Aish come in, son." Mother immediately stood up from her seat and invited Aish to sit next to Father.

Resisting the pain in her eyes, Aish next went into the room and refused to sit next to Dad. He took himself to sit on the couch opposite Dad.

Father saw Aish's actions that kept his distance, his mouth open wanting to say something but in the end he undoes his intention and decides not to comment.

"What's wrong?" Aish asked indifferently.

In front of his Father and Stepmother he tried to behave normally and held a sour feeling in his heart. He did not at all suspect that the people who came looking for him were them, people who had always ignored his existence.

"How are you doing now, son?" Ask Dad awkwardly.

Aish lowered her head reluctantly looking at her father's face - ah, no. He was afraid to see his father's face. Fear of not being able to hold back and end up crying out of longing.

"Alright, it's so fun here." Answer Aish as he is.

Dad breathed a sigh of relief.

"Thank God, I'm glad to hear that."

Awkward, Dad no longer speaks. Dad squeezing both his old hands looked nervous, it seemed like Dad wanted to say a lot of things but for one reason he didn't reveal it to Aish.

Mother could not bear to see the father and son couple like this, and immediately took over the conversation.

"Aish a while ago was the day of your Mama's death. I knew you couldn't come there to see him so I replaced you to go see your Mama." Mother started the conversation with a friendly tone and a gentle smile, her words were actually kind and positive value but within Aish's hearing she felt extremely humiliated.

"You're wrong, that day I went there to see my mother. And you, even if I can't come there my mama will never want to see you come to her. You won't forget what you and Dad did to her?" Sneaky Aish.

The anger in his heart was not hidden. It's not a secret anymore and I should understand why he's so angry right now.

"He is not my Mother but she is Mother Aira, My Mother is the only one in the world - my Mother!" Reply Aish does not want to lose.

Seeing how stubborn Aish was at the moment, kayak knew onions were of no use prolonging this debate because the end would never be finished.

"Son, stop bringing up the past again. Poor Mother, she is also responsible for raising you to grow this big." Said Dad weakly.

Aish turned her face sad and made no comment.

If it wasn't for your mistake with my Mama back then, you two wouldn't have had to bother raising me. I am not at all grateful for every pain you inflict until I am this big. Inner Aish is sad.

Seeing that Aish was not speaking anymore, I thought that this conversation had finally stopped. He then changed the other topic and had no intention of discussing the topic of the debate earlier this afternoon. Discussing it will likely further aggravate the atmosphere.

"Are you short of money?" Ask Daddy softly.

Aish shook her head honestly, she did not lack for money at all.

"I have a lot of money." Proud speech.

"That money..." Dad looked at Aish doubtfully.

There was a faint guess in his heart but Aish was reluctant to reveal it.

"Your uncle and aunt are starting a new venture. They're short of funds"

"I'm sorry, but I refuse to give it. The money Mama gave to me for myself. Whatever I use the money for, no one can interfere with it because it belongs to my Mama for myself." Cut Aish firmly.

In his heart he wondered if his aunt was having problems inside her head? because after everything he did to her in that house and all the judgments that were done to her during her stay in that house, did Aish still intend to give her money?

That's crazy logic.

"Dad understands what you mean." Dad didn't ask anymore.

Aish thought there was nothing they needed to talk about anymore so he immediately stood up from his seat.

"Then I'll go."

"Wait, Son." Dad stopped Aish.

Aish sat back and waited for Dad to speak.

"Your sister Aira has moved to the boarding school and from tomorrow she will officially enter the same school where you studied. This is the first time he has come to the boarding house and it must be very difficult to adapt to this strange place so please take care of your sister and help her if she has any problems. You also know if Aira easily sick and tired? He needs-"

Besides, Aish can no longer hold him. He closed his eyes hoping that both of his ears would not function at this moment. And hope all of Dad's words of concern never get into his head.
