"He was sound asleep. Why do I feel like he's so funny?" Samar, in his sleep he heard someone talking.
"Hus, don't say it out loud. Auntie said we can't wake her before she wakes up on her own. Cassian. She must have stayed up all night because she was too nervous."
He frowned distracted in sleep. Wiggling comfortably, slowly her eyelids moved a sign that she had woken up. Samar, in the dim light he saw the faces of his two best friends. They both smiled sillyly beside him. He thought that this must be a dream again. He rubbed his two sleepy eyes. Aish was astonished to see the silly faces of her two best friends. Instead of leaving, they look very real.
"Good morning, newlyweds ups, not candidates anymore because it has long been officially a bride. How are you feeling now, are you still nervous?" Dira pinched the cheeks of her best friend's kingpin who was still dumbly staring at them without making a sound.
Not long ago, Aish looked very different. She becomes more beautiful, and even more amazing is that Aish's charm seems to be more unsettling. Um, I don't know why Aish looks so pleasing to the eye and comfortable now.
"Dira, Gisel? So this is really you guys? I thought dreams knew!" Aish immediately sat down on the bed and hugged the two of them firmly.
"When are you here?"
Dira and Gisel laughed.
"Just this morning. After the dawn prayer we were suddenly called and asked to pack up immediately because our invitation had arrived. We both thought your wedding was coming soon, maybe one more week. Eh yearya even counted 3 days after the exam was finished, we were both very shocked. So you two but didn't have time to make any preparations and came here empty-handed."
The two of them had not prepared a wedding present for Aish and had come in a change of clothes only. If they were reminded of the exact time of Aish's wedding, then they would have already made preparations. How not, the married ones are their beloved friends.
Aish doesn't think about the hand.
"No, the presence of the two of you has made me very happy. Hey, I've got clothes ready for you guys tomorrow. Let's see." In high spirits, Aish pulls his two best friends away.
"What?"
"Auntie says you should shower and clean yourself after waking up. After that come downstairs for breakfast, then you can take us for a look." Gisel explained.
Being too happy to see his two best friends, he forgot to clean up first.
"You haven't had breakfast, have you?" This is not a question, but a statement.
Dira and Gisel nodded honestly. They are strangers here. Even if treated very well, they are still embarrassed to talk, especially to come to breakfast.
"We're waiting for you."
Aish patted her thighs annoyed.
"Why didn't you wake me up so you could have breakfast?"
Gisel complains, "Where can we wake you up. We know you must be tired all day busy and staying up late. That's why we're silent." Besides Rumi's aunt asked them not to wake Aish, so how dare they not listen?!
"Oh Allah, I am not that weak. But yes, you wait for me here. I'll take a shower first. While waiting for me, you can sleep first as long as not to fall asleep..."
Dira and Gisel laughed. They ungainly climbed onto the mattress to fall. Their bodies were actually a bit tired after going through a long journey.
