The Love of Habib

The Love of Habib
Chapters 9.3

"Do you manage my life?"

Khalisa was immediately horrified. His slender body gasped in shock at Habib Khalid's direct question. Well, does he dare to rule the habib's life?

Not only for a habib, but any person obviously does not like his life to be arranged by others. It is very taboo and offensive.

But Khalisa did not intend to do that. He did not dare to rule the life of the habib and never dreamed of doing so.

"No, habib. That's not what I meant..." Denying Khalisa while crying.

Habib Khalid smiled flatly, "Didn't you hear clearly what I said earlier? Anyone is free to say anything about me as long as he doesn't touch my limits. Moreover, if the news is too disturbing, I can clarify it directly. Up to this second, have you ever seen me distracted and started speaking up for clarification? Except today, I've never done it. Meaning what? It means that what you say has greatly disturbed my life regardless of what purpose you say it."

Like being struck by lightning, Khalisa felt his body immediately limp. Fortunately Meri was immediately on standby holding it so that she did not fall to the ground.

How heartbroken Khalisa felt and how cruel the word uttered by the habib. Has he disturbed the habib?

Feeling angry and disturbed?

Khalisa immediately regretted his decision to look for Aish today. If time could be turned back, he would never think of looking for trouble for Aish. He would never think of intercepting Aish or saying those words. If time could be replayed, he really wouldn't make the same mistake..

"Please. forgive me, habib..." Please Khalisa sobbed.

Habib Khalid still did not glance or just look at him. He was still standing sideways with his head bowed looking not easily swayed.

"There is always an apology for anyone, but there is no tolerance for the same mistakes. I beg you after this incident no one else said I already have a fiancee. Thank you, assalamualaikum."

After saying good-bye, he turned around the same way without looking back or slowing down. And everyone who had followed him did not slack off either. They followed habib Khalid away. Compared to the brave Danis and able to chat casually with the habib, they all seemed too submissive to the habib to the point that they did not dare to talk too much. Habib Khalid disliked their submission and secretly thought he would take Danis if he intended to leave the office. As if Danis could be his spokesman if there was such a problem.

Seeing the back of the habib getting away from the view, people finally hid out and began to swarm where Aish was. They saw Khalisa crying weakly with no intention to ask because they had heard everything. Although they were once upset with Khalisa, it could not make their conscience completely closed.

They're not that nice. So they offered Meri help to help her take Khalisa away.

Meri's face is very bad. He seems reluctant to help Khalisa and more surprisingly, he does not blame Aish or his two friends for this problem at all. This is very unusual.

"Let's go." Take Aish to Gisel and Dira.

Dira and Gisel hummed a little as approval. They went to the river to rest because the sun was high. In the river the temperature is very cool and many places that make comfortable. They immediately felt at home sitting by the river while talking about the problem earlier.

Even Meri who had idolized him blindly was also reluctant to stay here.

"Where are you going?" Ask Khalisa.

Meri looked at him with embarrassment. It was foolish before that he had trusted Khalisa blindly just because of the good image he had seen.

"I want to go back to the fields, brother. You see, my roommates at the same protest I didn't help them." The reason is not making it up.

Indeed, his roommate had protested because he was too involved in the matter of Khalisa and forgot his duty to work in the rice field with other room friends.

Khalisa didn't feel there was anything wrong with Meri and allowed her to leave.

After everyone left, Ira's doctor finally went into the room where Khalisa was resting. His face was very grim when he looked towards Khalisa. He had just heard from the children of the cottage that brought Khalisa here earlier about what was made by his cousin's sister.

He once thought that Habib Khalid might have liked Khalisa because they met often, but after listening to the problems made by his cousin's sister, he finally realized that Habib Khalid actually did not like Khalisa but only respected him.

Khalisa is not a special woman and that means Khalisa will not be able to get the heart of the habib, especially after this incident, Khalisa has lost his chance to get the habib.

This news eventually won the hearts of Ira's doctors and some of it still hangs. Aish's charming figure has haunted her from yesterday. And he gets even more uncomfortable while listening to the rumors about Aish and Habib Khalid that spread recently. He was jealous, but could not do anything because he himself had trouble meeting the habib.

"You're making trouble again for Habib Thalib, congratulations, he must be very angry with you. Forget Grandpa and Grandma because the two of them won't be able to help you talk to Habib Thalib either." He said with a mocking tone that was disguised.

It was great to see his love rivals fall down one after another. And he grew even more happy to see the false prestige of his cousin's sister no longer shining like it used to. At least the two of them will not be compared again in the family.

"I don't know, brother, and I'm sorry. I didn't know that Habib Thalib was coming to the fields..." Khalisa said sadly.

His cousin is cruel. His heart was wounded but still smeared with salt by doctor Ira, how could his heart not get sicker?

Doctor Ira rolled his eyeballs tired of Khalisa's overly monotonous words.

"Nyesel is now of no use. Now enjoy the fruits of your own deeds and pray that your Uncle and Aunt do not hate your folly!"

"Sister Ira..." Call Khalisa start crying again.

But Dr. Ira ignored him. He immediately came out of Khalisa's room and returned to his desk to resume his work that had been delayed.
