The Love of Habib

The Love of Habib
Chapters 20.8

Aish's mood worsened after a brief conversation with habib Khalid and the unnamed woman. Although Dimas raised many topics of conversation, he only responded modestly. More than that, the dominant Gisel and Dira responded to everything Dimas said. Aish was also unhappy with her unstable mood. Sad, disappointed and jealous, this heart was filled with chaotic feelings. And he was well aware that the role of Habib Khalid in the heart was immense. It may be difficult to avoid the influence of habib Khalid in the boarding house. Every time, every leisure and every quiet shadow of the habib Khalid would instantly fill the head. It's free to avoid him at the boarding house if he intends to escape, it doesn't work.

If he really wanted to get away from Khalid's habib, the only way was to get out of the boarding house and get out of town. You can imagine how difficult it is, but this solution is much better than living in the same place as Habib Khalid. At least though it's hard outside the city, Aish can find a lot of impingements that can distract all the attention of his heart from the habib.

And it does not rule out the possibility that he will meet a male figure who is able to expel the habib from the heart. But... Will it be that easy to find someone better than the habib?

"Aish, don't keep quiet. Let's eat your food." Dira nudged his best friend's shoulder.

The three of them were sitting at the back of the canteen table and certainly the quietest of all the other tables. Many santriwati who went home and emptied many table chairs. So they can be content to choose a place to eat. Because santriwati and santri are not as many days as usual, the soup kitchen does not serve their food. It is they who go to take food to the kitchen. Taking food at will as long as it can be spent and not throwing away food. This is nothing but the long-awaited enjoyment of santri and santriwati. It's just that Aish's group wasn't too excited because they were constrained by many problems.

One is involved in family matters, the other is caught up in worries after seeing an acquaintance potentially spreading his disgrace in a boarding school, and the other is again caught in a breakup. The three of them were completely screwed.

"I don't have an appetite. You eat mine." Aish replied uninspired as she shifted her plate in front of Dira.

Dira was not excited either. He had no intention of adding food let alone eating Aish's plate.

"I'm so full. You finish your own food."

Aish said nothing. His hand then moved to slide the plate in front of Gisel but was immediately returned by Gisel.

"I'm full of Aish, too." He declined.

"Eat aja. I'm fasting again." Said Aish ngasal.

"Ngawur you're talking. Where there are people fasting nights. Yes, yes, just finished it. Your portion of food is the smallest among us." Dira.

Aish lowered her head in a heavy mood. Smiling faintly, slowly his mouth began to enter a mouthful for a mouthful of food. Chewing without expression on the face.

Five minutes later he finished his meal and immediately left after putting the dirty dishes in the sink.

He's said to be coming home, but why does he still see the trunk of his nose here?

"Sister's expression don't judge is that dong, it looks like the brother is heartbroken." Aira spoke in a soft and sweet voice, certainly with a contrived tone.

Hearing him just made Dira's stomach nauseous, wanting to spit out all the food that she had just ravenously eaten. So disgusting he thought.

"What's your business if I'm heartbroken?" Aish tilted her head asking cynically.

From the look on his face, everyone who saw knew that Aish was disturbed by the presence of Aira. Fortunately there were not many people here as the average everyone returned to the dormitory to rest. But actually Aish does not care if there are people at all, because after all from the beginning he has shown that his relationship with Aira is not too good even though they are family.

"Of course it has something to do with me, brother. Brother Aish, what the hell is that talking about? Oh yeah by the way, as a good sister I'm sorry about big brother's new problem. I have also said from the beginning that you should not be too hopeful with Habib Thalib. Now look, what I'm worried about is really happening. Brother Aish, a person like brother does not deserve to be with habib Thalib. He is a noble person, his knowledge is unreachable by brother and of course you are not on the same level. People like Habib Thalib are more suitable and worthy of being with a good girl, who is high in knowledge, and has good manners. This criterion is not suitable for Aish's sister. Did you never realize your own shortcomings all this time? How bad you are in any way and plus you have a criminal record, you almost kill me if your teacher and friends don't quickly run me to the hospital. With this record alone, big brother should be ashamed to expect someone higher than big brother. Thinking about this problem, I suddenly remembered the saying from the Chinese country. That when the ugly and the bad expect a better man is also glorious than himself like a frog in a well who wants to eat the flesh of a goose. Doesn't this sound very appropriate?" Her voice was very sweet and gentle as she spoke but every single word she let out by that sweet mouth contained a sharp knife, slicing right inside Aish's heart.

He often thought of how unfit he was to expect someone so noble, yet how great a feeling in the heart made him blind and slowly disregarded this fact. She is bad, she is a girl who has many shortcomings, she is low, often fights parents, is ungodly to her family, and the most important thing is that her heart is full of defects. So it is not natural that his whole family would not accept him, naturally they sent him away from the house, naturally they did not like him and preferred Aira as a precious jewel.

And it's only natural that Dad loves Aira more than he does.

That's why he's so dirty. And what Aira said was true that she was like a frog in a well that wanted to eat the flesh of a goose, so shameless.

He should have long realized that the world had not always revolved around him and that everyone did not have to understand his feelings, but why have we realized it now?

"Who is the frog in the well everyone knows that well. Aira, you turned out to be much more disgusting than your mother. Your mother was an actor, her role was very clear in the family. But you? Ah, equating you with a frog is not enough because you are more suited to being likened to a snake. What do you have? Aside from academic achievement in school, all the parts of you are falsehoods. It is true what people say that a good woman will give birth to a good seed and an evil woman will give birth to an evil seed, and now I see for myself. Don't you feel enough of the parasite acting in that family? Why force yourself to come here to annoy people who never harass you? Oh, not only do you have a saying from China because I also have a saying from nowhere that is more popular than yours. Your actions are always constantly harassing Aish's life, like a snake that wants to dive into a lake without rippling. Snakes can swim, but that doesn't mean they're good at swimming. What if the lake is not rippling it turns out to keep the waves at the bottom of the lake? Are you sure a snake can conquer it regardless of how physical it is? You are like that snake. Disturbing but not knowing what to disturb, look and wait carefully how big the waves you will find later. By the time that happens I hope you don't shed tears because your crying is entertainment for us." Without waiting for Aish to reply to the two-faced girl's words of ridicule, Dira immediately spoke up.

For the sake of her best friend she is determined to use her power to teach Aira and her family a lesson. He will ask for compensation to his parents for the responsibilities they left behind. He who felt ill seeing his best friend being underestimated like this was why he decided to contact his parents later to ask them to do something to the arrogant family.

No matter how much sin he will bear, he is prepared to bear it as long as the life of his friend is not disturbed again.

"How dare you insult my Mother!" Aira was hurt and despised by Dira, but the pain in her heart was much greater when she heard her mother being ridiculed and humiliated. He can't take it. Because the Mother is the most powerful and extraordinary person, without Mother, her life would not be this good. So how could he just keep silent watching others trample over the self-esteem of the woman who had been such a great meritorious giving birth to him into this world?
