Something is chasing me.!!! Big and Heavy...
The total darkness increasingly locked me in a gripping feeling. I could hear the footsteps of the creature behind me. I don't know how long I've been running, because now my breath is starting to sting and my feet are screaming to give up because I'm tired.
But no!! I have to run, it would be terrible if the creature managed to catch up to me.
I wiped away the sweat and tears that were now mixed into one on my face. I had to keep running, the footsteps were getting closer. "Whoever help me!!" I screamed, hoping someone would hear it.
A human figure was seen standing still in front of me. A feeling of relief outside hit me. I'll ask for his help.
Without caring anything else, I scatter and shake his arm. "Please help me, there's something
who's after me"
The figure made no sound at all, but he grabbed my body in his arms. His body smelled very nice and warm.
The warmth was flowing a sense of security that made my breath calm again. His embrace was very comfortable, as if I was lying down wearing a wool blanket in front of the fireplace. It makes me feel nostalgic and nostalgic.
But a terrifying crackling sound, it suddenly sounded from his body.
I broke away from that embrace.
The figure that was hugging me suddenly changed. His body grew several times. The jet black fur grew to fill his body. His face slowly elongated, sharp fangs growing in his mouth.
His hands and feet no longer had fingers. A sharp claw has replaced it. A giant wolf with jet-black fur stood in front of me with all four legs. His mouth was pulled back, revealing sharp fangs in white.
The sound of screaming stuck in my throat. My tears fell more and more, as fear swallowed me whole.
"Who help me!!!" my groan with horror.
---------*0o0*----------------------
"Why does he keep jerking?" I asked Alva.
"He's dreaming, don't worry too much" Alva exasperatedly replied.
I called him to Lykos to check on Bee, as his body was injured in some parts. But Alva said there were no scratches from werewolves, just ordinary bruises and scratches.
Unlike me, most of my back and hands are still wrapped in bandages. My body's healing speed had returned, but the wounds from the inhumane creatures took a little longer to heal than ordinary wounds. And usually leaves a mark.
"When will he realize?" I ask, impatient.
It had been 3 hours since Bee fainted, but there had been no signs she would soon wake up.
"You know I can't be sure? Don't piss me off or I'll kick you out of here!!" hardik Alva's.
I'm upset, but I'll obey. Alva could be very unfriendly, if he wanted to.
I'm taking Bee to Lykos, because this place will be safer for her. The Delmora Mansion would not be able to withstand an inhumane attack. I had a mouth fight with Oscar a few minutes ago because of this. He was so angry to hear I was taking Bee to Lykos.
And I'm so grateful he's in Rome right now. I feel like he'll come with a full army, if he's in London. Oscar also swore me to die soon, as I told him the chronology of the incident.
He was furious that I had made Bee become involved with the inhumane world. I'm not in any way arguing, because Oscar was right. I'm the one who brought Bee into the inhume world.
After a long, honest explanation. Many insults - from the Oscars - as well as my pleas - eventually Oscar gave up. He agreed the Delmora Mansion was unfit to head off an inhumane attack.
I also told you what happened to Mark.
For a moment, Oscar was silent. Bee and Oscar have known Mark for 15 years. I would be surprised if he behaved normally.
His voice rasped with emotion, as he promised to send someone to Lycos to retrieve Mark's body and the car Bee was wearing.
The knock on the door made Alva jump, she was a witch who was too easily feared. "Lake in!" my word.
Id appeared then looked down saluting me. "Mrs. Franklyn's already come Scion".
I nodded in understanding, "And he also invited you to go down Ms. Leona" he said hesitantly, to Alva.
"Why?? I don't want to deal with anything you guys do" she refused.
"Come, you know he's different from the other hunters!" my insistence.
With a twist, Alva's eyeballs moved out of the room. "Please ask Tita to take care of it" I asked Id.
"Soon Scion!"
I touched Bee's forehead which was now in normal temperature, then kissed her gently.
"Wake up sleepy head, I have a lot to say" I whispered.
But his eyes were still tightly closed, making bad memories greet my mind. Desperation, fear, worry violently scourged me like a whip on my back. It's painful......!
I took a deep breath to expel all of that from my heart. I need to calm down now. Bee's gonna be up in a minute. And I'll wait!
After calming down, I came out of the room. Tita was at the door. I beckoned him with my eyes telling him to come in, he nodded obediently,
I went down the stairs to the study, the savory smell of milk smelled from there.
At the end of the stairs, Dey and Farjad stood upright in silence. They were like students who were being punished outside the classroom.
Seeing me coming, they walked up to me.
But I prevented it with my hands. "Later!" say, short. I don't want to hear an apology at this time. There is something more urgent.
In the study I found El, Roan and Abel sitting on the sofa talking. Alva stood awkwardly by the table. It's very uncomfortable to see it.
"Sit down
Alva" I pointed at the empty space on the sofa next to where I was sitting. Still without a sound, Alva sat there.
"You're gonna tell us everything now?" ask Uncle Rex.
His face was on an open laptop screen on a desk. He looked at me curiously, preparing to listen.
He's already back in Quebec, unlike Abel who's still in London to monitor movements
Crispins.
But of course, he didn't want to miss the news. The use of modern technology like this makes me happy. Because it means I don't have to repeat the story many times.
"Can I go? I don't want to hear any stories!" Alva flatly replied, hiding her annoyance. Abel smiled gently at him.
"I'm sorry, Miss. Leona. But I think in the near future, we will need your expertise in areas other than medicine. So I hope you don't withdraw. I want you to be prepared" Abel said kindly and politely.
From his words, I suspect Abel already knows Alva very well. Not a surprise to me, the inhumane world is not a vast place.
For a moment Alva seemed to want to argue, but I prevented it by holding her hand. He can talk about rejection or anything with me, but not now.
Alva according, she clenched her mouth tightly, returning to silence.
I told you all about the events on that empty land. But leave out the details about Linus. I'll tell El personally.
Abel listened in silence, several times he nodded slowly, as if his question was answered. Uncle Rex swore loudly at the time I mentioned Egon, Roan also hissed.
Upon reaching the part I smashed Egon's stomach, Abel smiled in satisfaction. But Roan gave me a look
insulting, of course he denounced because my shot missed.
"And I'll give you the last fact, they have witches on their side. Egon said it himself. Although at that time he was complaining because the witch was doing a careless job" I said, closing the explanation at length.
Alva frowned in dislike, upon hearing the fact the witch was working with Crispin.
"He'll be safe and back to health in less than a week" Uncle Rex commented on Egon's circumstances, in a heavy tone.
I'm nodding.
"You're lucky Egon didn't bring another creature back then. You can die silly" Abel looked at me sharply.
I flicked my shoulders "When the choice is me or Bee, I will still choose Bee"
Abel smiled understandingly. He's probably used to my dad's crazy behavior when he's with Mom.
"But what makes you transform again? Did you make it. You know---" asked Roan curiously.
"Well, does that mean you're back to normal?" Abel directly snatched the topic without hesitation.
Reluctantly I shook my head,
"I don't know, Bee-I mean Lui, she's worried about me. As soon as I heard him say it, I became-mmm warm. I think that's what makes me transform again"
I tried to explain in a reasonable sentence, while killing the shame.
But it didn't work, because they all looked at me strangely.
"I don't know, that's the best answer I can give you, okay!" seruku, annoyed.
How can I answer something so rare like this, while the only source for me to ask is dead?
Abel finally raised both his hands. He understood my reluctance to talk about it.
"Right now Crispin has become very dangerous, hunters in some areas are already very eager to kill him, but no matter how many troops we send, they never return"
Abel immediately threw in another topic, so my business became even more uninteresting.
"I've stopped chasing him for the past 6 months, because 12 Hunters from my unit have fallen victim. Currently the Hunter Council is discussing ways to be able to destroy it. But of course the petty councils never thought to cooperate with the inhumane" Abel said bitterly.
"Crispin is supported by a lot of vampires, at night, his army is really like a nightmare. Once supported by Egon, and even witches, it would be very easy for them to move during the day"
"How big is their army?" my many. Abel answered with a head.
"We don't know for sure, because as I said earlier, none of our members survived when approaching them" he said plainly.
"And some time ago they destroyed the Elven Sanctum in the Black Forest, all the elves who were there were killed. I can't measure how much strength the elves have sucked" Abel continued, in a regretful tone.
"He did what?!!" Uncle Rex exclaimed in surprise from inside the laptop.
Elves are slightly different creatures from other inhumane creatures. I myself have never
meet because they are so closed.
But from the books I read, their appearance was slightly different from that of werewolves and vampires, therefore they simply could not blend in with humans like us.
And the elves should have more power than all the inhumane creatures.
Elves have magic that is stronger than witches, and it is said that they are more agile than werewolves and vampires. That fact alone had made me not want to meet any of them.
But that crazy vampire has managed to destroy two elven sanctums! That's very bad news.
Meaning Crispin was strong enough to fight the elves, and he became even stronger after sucking the power from the elves there. Crispin really seriously wants to wage war with humans.
"Crispin's movement has been very bold, signifying our time is not much and he is very strong. I need to report this to the Supreme Council immediately. I wish they would open their eyes even wider now!" Abel sounded very irritated.
I can understand and sympathize with Abel's difficulties. Explaining something new to a group of parents who are conservative, does require extra energy. Like when I faced an Elder at Blackmoon.
"Right now you must leave Lycos, Duke. You don't know what other plans are in his brain. You won't be able to survive with just 6 werewolves' guard, and again we don't know for sure whether you're doing better or not!" Abel looked at me with a tense face.
"And wherever you go, take Miss Delmora with you. They've been shown to use it to destroy you. Anyhow man's an easier target than a Scion, you understand? I'm a little sorry that Ms. xDelmora had to go through all this, but she's your mate. That fact alone would make him the target of Crispin "wisely he continued.
Of course I understand, it was also the reason that made me bring Bee to Lycos. Egon knows for sure, if I'm going to die when something happens to Bee. He would definitely not stop utilizing that information to attack me.
I'll take him to Blackmoon. The safest place in the world right now is Blackmoon. Because I
it'll be there.
"You've decided?" abel asked, looking at the determination in my eyes.
"Of course, I'll take him to Blackmoon!" I nodded firmly.
Abel and Uncle Rex nodded simultaneously.
"It's a good decision, even though I need to work hard to make it happen" said Uncle Rex with a spell. I knew he had to go back to persuading the Elders to accept Bee in the pack.
"No, it was a rash decision. Because that means I kidnapped her. I'm sure he won't agree to leave" I said grimly. I won't forget Bee's anger at me.
"He won't turn it down now" Alva said. "If you take her now, she'll most likely just be awake by the time you get to Quebec. I'll give him the lightest sedative to put it off consciously" he explained in more detail, looking at the clueless frown on my forehead.
"You're suggesting that I bring him in now unconscious?" many wonder. Alva usually never took sides with me, if it had anything to do with Bee.
"He won't survive outside the pack, Duke. Mutant vampires and witches are a deadly combination. The witch would easily trace Lui's whereabouts. But with the protection of the magic layer in the Blackmoon region, they would take 1000 years to be able to find Lui" he replied in a flat voice, an omen
actually, he didn't like the idea.
But Alva knows best how dangerous the witch's threat is.
"I just don't want you to waste your time convincing him. Taking Lui there was the only way she could be protected" he added, looking at me still agape at his proposal.
Abel immediately smiled satisfiedly at Alva, "I'm glad to see you active in this discussion Ms. Leona" he said.
"Don't overdo it, I did all this for Lui. I won't let him get killed after all the effort I put in to save him" He snapped ferociously at Abel.
"You..!" Alva pointed her index finger at my face still ferociously,
"Make sure he's safe and not overstressed there, I'll send you some medicine vials tomorrow. For now bring everything you can find"
I of course nodded obediently. You don't want to dispute the words of a witch who's upset. Could be bad.
Alva got up from her seat and came out without saying goodbye.
"I'll prepare for your trip" Uncle Rex decided on his video call. The laptop screen again displays a view of the forest.
Abel also moved, then wore a coat that had been draped in his seat.
"I had to talk to some old colossus, so I guess I should go as well" he said, smiling lightly at the three of us left in the room.
"You're old too!" sahutku. Abel is no longer young for human size, he should not call others old.
Abel chuckled at her "You really look like your father" she said, looking at me with sadness.
He squeezed my shoulders firmly, his other hand waving to Roan and El. He then walked out of the room still with a small smile.
A very unique hunter, my inner.
"We're getting ready to go?" el asked, rising from his seat.
"Before that, there was something I wanted to tell you" I looked at El's face. He looked confused, but leaned back on the sofa, ready to listen.
"I met Linus"
Roan hissed furiously, while El widened his eyes in disbelief.
"He's one of the wolves that attacked me with Egon"
"Waste werewolves who joined the garbage werewolves!!" Caci Roan, with a sick tone. El was still speechless, but I could see his jaw hardening withholding anger.
"We'll see her soon, relax!" my word. El nodded with a haunted face.
"And I'll make sure there's no third time"
El's hands clenched firmly, reflecting his determination to kill Linus once they met again.
"We must get ready to leave immediately" I said, recalling the plan we had agreed to.
Roan immediately got up "I'll tell the others" he said, after which it passed away.
"You okay?" I asked, to El who was still silent.
He nodded, then also stepped off the sofa.
"Please tell Id, too, that all the werewolves still in London, should return to Blackmoon. I don't want any werewolf to die silly just from meeting the enemy by accident" I added.
"Of course, they were easy targets when alone" El replied, his eyes already refocused, before finally leaving the room.
Now that I have to think of a way to convince Oscar, however, bringing Bee to Blackmoon is not the same as taking him to Lykos.
I must also be able to convince Oscar not to kill me when he announces this plan.
