Finding You, Again

Finding You, Again
Us 30 - Invulnerable and Anxious

"Who is he?" el asked, with widened eyes looking at the very short brown haired girl covered in black beanie.

I was pointing at him when El asked who Hunter would be joining us.

The girl walked agilely avoiding the crowd at Sheremetyevo airport, approaching me and El.

Warm coats and black fluffy boots complement his gothic appearance today. Thick makeup with black lipstick and black lines around the eyes, and do not forget the big bag that is also black attached to his back.

"Faustina, Abel's grandson" I replied. El looked at him dumbfounded.

El didn't meet him in Quebec yesterday. Now he must be surprised to see the uniqueness. One thing that irritated me, I still did not smell any scent from him.

El looked at him without blinking.

"Don't look at him too much, he won't hesitate to pry your eyes out just because of annoyance" I added, because El's eyes still can't see him.

"I didn't....." El's rebuttal was cut off, because Faust had already arrived before us.

Without a greeting, or a welcome word, Faust held out a paper bag to me.

"Thanks" I said, trying to be friendly.

"Come on! we must finish this disgusting job!"

He rebuked with a rebuke, in return for my thanks.

I'm not a polite person, but this girl is clearly in the category of acute level in terms of impoliteness. He did not even try to introduce himself or get acquainted with El.

Afterwards, he led us out of the airport and took us for a 2-hour drive by car, to a smaller airfield.

The distance between Lavrentiya and Sheremetyevo is still thousands of kilos. We would take a small plane there, and then pass it on by running. Since their location is not possible in urban areas, I am sure they will be in mountains or forests.

We were quieter during the trip. Not only because Faust's attitude was very 'friendly' but also because of the tension filling the air. We all know what the risks are in this mission.

"I'm surprised Abel sent you on this assignment" I asked a little yell, trying to beat the roar of the plane's engine.

"Is that important? I'm not asking why you're on this mission" he replied coldly.

Jeez!!! I regretted wasting a few seconds of my breath talking to him.

"Of course it matters! We should know how your fighting skills are, because I would be lazy if I had to take care of you when the situation didn't go according to plan. Maybe Abel rated you too high just because you're his granddaughter"

I won't filter my words anymore, because he can be so impudent to me as easy as a wink.

His eyes were angry, though,

"Don't you know Wolf! Grandfather was very opposed to my departure here, but our pies were limited. I am one of the highest level hunters right now. You'll regret it if we meet under different circumstances!" Faust spat out his anger in a single breath.

"Well.. glad to finally know that if your ability is good enough, I would be very upset if it turns out you are just a burden that I have to take care of later" I replied in a calm tone.

El next to me was trying to hold back his laughter, but his shoulders were still shaking. I looked at him with a question. What's so funny about this situation?

"She is in another class! I never thought there would be a girl immune to the charms of your face" whispered El as she rubbed amused tears at the corner of her eyes.

We both didn't think Roan was a girl, so he didn't count.

I just smiled obliquely, ignoring Faust who was now emitting waves of hatred towards me.

I grabbed the paper bag I had been holding since, and took out two large bottles from there.

El immediately growled tormented at the sight of the brown liquid - a little different from Oscar's greenish potion, because he was a disgusting man - that filled the two bottles I now held. But he still grabbed one of those bottles, and drank it with a resigned face.

Soon we will arrive at Lavrentiya, our werewolf scent should be gone by the time we land. This spying activity would be a tender trap, if our scent were to spread in the air.

"This is disturbing!!" I complained, after successfully swallowing the entire potion in the bottle, the taste and smell was still as bad as I remembered.

My mouth felt sticky as if the potion had been made of glue, and my nose was filled with a pungent aroma similar to Vieux Boulogne cheese*

El closed his eyes while leaning against the chair, his face looked nauseous. My nose could feel the werewolf scent attached to El gradually dissipating, but it still left a faint lily scent of hers.

I glanced at Faust. The usually flat face, looks disgusted to see us swallow that snot-like liquid.

"Aren't you supposed to get used to this potion? I've never smelled anything from you!" chirps me, look at his disgusted face.

"I don't need to drink potions to get rid of the scent. I was born like this. And don't ask any more questions, it's none of your business!!" he said while glancing at me irritated.

He threw a glance towards the window of the plane.

Of course I want to ask you more about it!! How can a human be born without any scent?

It was impossible, but he also looked honest. It's disconcerting.

Even El opened his eyes and looked at him with an interested face, but Faust did not budge at all and still stared at the scenery below which was far from beautiful, because it only displayed the view of snow and arid mountains.

I must make a condition to Abel not to include Faust on any mission with me after this. I'm tired of his attitude.

After a rough landing somewhere out in the open that smells and looks similar to a garbage dump, the plane we were on took off immediately after Faust threw a dollar bill at the pilot.

He spoke fluent Russian to the pilot. This isn't my forte, I turned to El for help.

"He wants the pilot to get ready in the city, we will come at any time" El sighed from the corner of his mouth. Of course El speaks Russian, he's as crazy as Oscar for that kind of thing.

Our return plan is simple. We'll meet the pilot in the city and fly back to Sheremetyevo with him, just like when we got here.

Faust circled the field once and then stopped checking the GPS in his hands "We should walk about 7 hours eastward" he said as he pointed at the mostly snow-covered cluster of barren mountains.

I looked at El who immediately nodded, understanding my point.

"That's not gonna happen" I said, to which Faust responded with a sharp look.

"What do you mean?' tanyakanya.

"We're going to run!" I replied, El had started by removing the shirt he wore leaving trousers on his body.

Faust's face, cold and flat, started to ripple with emotion. "You will run in the form of wolves!"

He understands well what I mean.

I nodded, a five-hour walk would be very time consuming, besides it was also boring. By running we will get there in less than an hour. Faust's face grinned in annoyance.

"You have two options, give us the GPS and you wait here until we get back or you can get on El's back, and we'll get there in a second. We can end this mission before sunset"

My plan was very good, because obviously vampires won't come out during the day like they do now. It reduces the number of enemies we have to face if the situation worsens.

We have eliminated most of the enemies with the sun. With a short duration of daylight, we must hurry in order to get there before dark.

El's face looked calm hearing my idea. It meant that he did not mind carrying Faust on his back.

But a beautiful curse - one that almost moved me deeply because it was so creative - came out of Faust's mouth after hearing my proposal.

He certainly felt this as an insult, because he had to accept help from the inhumane that he hated so much. But on the other hand, he had no choice, because my plan was much better than his idea.

His breath was hunting while looking at El. His eyes looked at El, who was beginning to look careless and embarrassed from being looked at continuously, in a half-naked state.

"We need to get going!" el said disconnect Faust's mind.

Faust grunted in annoyance.

"You coming or not?" my sergeant, El's right, we can't waste much time.

"Follow!!" he snapped while turning his back on us, giving us the opportunity to transform.

The done!

"Oh... My..." I was shocked, because my mind after transformation, was filled with an abundance of warm pink flowers, which came from El.

"It can't be... El" I groaned.

"Oh.. shut up!! I'm just a little interested in him" hardik El, embarrassed.

Of all the girls in the world, she is fascinated by cruel girls, which makes Roan look almost normal. And again he's Hunter.

"You know Hunter has a worse status than humans, right? You're gonna face more abuse than you've ever received" I don't want El to be a scorn again.

It was enough humiliation that he had received all this time. I'm anxious to imagine how the residents of the pack would respond if El was involved with Hunter.

"Are you done or not?!" Faust's impatient tone broke the conversation in our heads.

I snorted as a signal he could turn around. Faust looked at us one by one. The outpouring of spirit and elation made me torn between joy and annoyance.

I was glad that El finally felt the love in his heart, a feeling that was very rare in El's mind. But of course this is disturbing, because my mind is full of Faust's face from various angles.

"I'm amazed you don't even complain about Bee" I said with gratitude, imagining El having to live with Bee's shadow filling his brain.

El chuckled amusedly at her, "I never mind Duke!" he said lightly, dampening my guilty tone.

"I hate it so much for interrupting intimate conversations in your heads, but I think we were planning to leave!" faust quipped, because we just looked at each other without a sound.

I grinned softly as a sign we understood. El immediately sat folding all four of his legs.

While stomping his feet in annoyance, Faust climbed on El's back. No need to explain how El feels, the warmth is starting to make me careless. Pink is getting bigger on my mind.

After receiving instructions about which way we should run, El set his foot and jumped towards the snowy pine forest in front of us.

I grabbed a change of clothes bundle and hooked it on the front foot with my muzzle.

Without a sound, I ran after El's mind, which was now exploding with shadows and a feeling that was slightly out of proportion to the supposed gripping circumstances.

We passed through rivers, hills and even shallow swamps that made my feathers freeze as we crossed them.

I have to admit, Faust is a tough girl. The temperature dropped as we went further and further into the forest. But not a single sound of complaint came out of his mouth.

From El's mind, I felt how his handrails tightened every time we ran faster, his face was full of red from the cold. Her lips were covered in black lipstick so we couldn't see the color change, but it was shaking violently with every wind that hit us.

After passing through the gloomy swamp a second time, my nose started to smell a faint disgusting smell.

"Stop!!"

El stopped his running, looking at me. "Where are they?"

"About 5 km to the east" I answered.

"Why did we stop?" faust asked, straightening his back.

I jerked my head towards the source of the smell of dead fish.

"They're there?" tanya Faus confirmed my gesture. I'm nodding.

With a single leap Faust landed on the snowy ground. But perhaps because of his frozen feet, his landing was far from smooth.

El grabs Faust's shirt with his teeth just before Faust drowns in the snow. Faust was ungrateful or what, but his eyes glanced at El awkwardly. That alone was enough to make El's heart warm again.

"Ugh..." I could only groan receiving an attack of excitement from El.

Maybe I should start learning to sing the Russian national anthem to block these thoughts. El laughed happily at me trying to close the rush of his feelings.

Faust began to unpack the bag from earlier in his cage. He took out 2 pistols identical to the one Abel gave me and slipped them around his waist. Two long swords pinned him to his back. Not to forget the crossbow that was filled with the scent of poison on his arrows.

El and I left Faust behind the tree. In accordance with the plan we spoke of during the trip from Quebec, we will approach the group in human form.

My serial figure that is slightly larger than other werewolves will be very easily visible.

After wearing the proper clothes, we approached Faust who was finished with all his preparations.

El stretched out an extra jacket on Faust. For a moment he looked doubtful, but then accepted it even though it was still without a smile. I think the air temperature is really cold, so Faust is willing to put aside his prestige, without thinking.

The three of us started walking slowly towards the source of the scent I was smelling. Getting closer, another scent started to bother me. Smells of fishy and rusty, smells of blood!

For a moment I was nauseous to imagine where this scent came from, because it was impossible for humans to be in this cold area willingly. With vampires in existence, it only means that they are here as food.

And right, not long after, we found a pile of corpses, which made Faust lose control of himself. El really had to grip him firmly lest he run over the depraved group blindly.

The bodies were piled up carelessly. Their bodies had stiffened perfectly due to the cold air, I could still see the remnants of the blood droplets that had also started to freeze.

That haired leech is really disgusting!!

The sounds of conversation and muttering began to clearly sound in our ears. Faust was now walking very carefully so as not to make a sound, and I acknowledged his prowess once again.

The lack of sound produced by Faust while walking, signifies the many experiences of fighting with inhumane.

We hid behind fallen trees that had been hollowed out in some places and started spying on the hordes that were in front of us. We were still about a few hundred meters away. But I wouldn't risk being caught if it approached any more than this.

I could already see the horde clearly from where we were hiding.

They turned the field near the rocky hill into a temporary shelter, and I understand why they chose this place.

There was a cave that was quite large attached to that rocky hill. Unmistakably, that place was the source of the smell of dead fish that now filled my nose. And since the sun was still shining in the sky, the vampire must still be inside.

Outside the cave, werewolves - sadly Egon was nowhere to be seen - and several witches filled the field. I easily recognized the witch who was there from her appearance.

Unlike Alva who always looks clean like a normal human, black magician looks disgusting.

One of them I saw was wearing an animal skull as a hat over his ruffled hair. Some of them even wear necklaces made of teeth. Of course the bones and skulls are the remains of innocent creatures that they have sacrificed.

Black magicians use flesh and blood to create spells. Because of that their scent is almost as fishy as vampires.

I was a little surprised, because after carefully calculating all the inhumane that were there, they were far more in number than I expected. But it's not a problem, I'm enough to deal with 5 werewolves simultaneously. The problem is, the cave dwellers.

A choking sound emerged from Faust's mouth, as several body figures walked out of the forest in front of us. From the scents I smell, it is unmistakable that they are living humans. Looking at the weapons they were wielding, it was clear they were Hunters.

Rotten traitor hunter!!

But there were two groups with different roles, three of them were captives, because of their extremely miserable circumstances. Wounds and bruises are almost evenly distributed all over the face. And looking at the strange way they walked, I'm sure some bones in their bodies have been broken.

While the rest of the group were traitors, they voluntarily herded the group of captives.

"Dom..brother!!.." Faust sizzled with a quiver, his face, which had been flushed with coldness, began to turn pale. Tears that then filled his eyes, made El move uneasily.

"Which one?" my many. It would be very unpleasant if his brother was included in the traitor group.

"The front one" he whispered.

Thank God, at least he's a prisoner.

"Can we save him?" El asked very quietly. "Maybe, but it's a very risky move" I replied after thinking for a few seconds.

It would have been easier if they had separated him from the group, but apparently they were having a fun show with the main event torturing the captives.

Amidst the crowd of inhumane that formed a circle, the group of captive Hunters became moons and mockery.

A tormented groan escaped Faust's mouth, when he saw the inhumane kicks and punches received by his brother as well as his two friends. A tear granule fell on her pale cheek, but she roughly wiped it off immediately.

El looks confused. His hands raised with worry. I think he wanted to comfort Faust, but hesitated, because he could not figure out how Faust would react.

Then within seconds, everything turned into a nightmare!!!

Faust who could no longer bear to see the torment that befell his brother, ran and jumped while attacking the horde of inhumane.

"Foolish woman!!!" I said, then called my wolf that second too.

"Hey!.." rebuked El in my head in a dislike tone, because I cursed at Faust. I will not respond to that thought, because the current state of affairs is really bad!!

The inhumane crowd was momentarily shocked to see Faust's appearance, but before long they growled furiously and began to strike back.

Faust's ability was as great as the one he was arrogant about. Three werewolves were killed in seconds with their pistols. But the situation is clearly desperate, because now almost all the existing werewolves have been transformed.

With a sword and crossbow in his hand, he danced slashing at the enemies coming towards him, but it would not be enough to fight them all.

El and I caught up with him as fast as lightning. The Inhumane were once again aghast at our arrival. But it only took a few seconds, howls of war calls filled the air.

Then it happened, all the werewolves and hunters that were there attacked us simultaneously!!

Without thinking any more, I lunged at the poor wereowolf that was closest to me.

Five-six-six-seven werewolves were torn apart horribly by my fangs. Five werewolves lying around El.

But I can still avoid.

"Faust!!!" the screeching warning is shouted by Dom, two arrows plunging fiercely on Faust's back.

F*ck!!!

The poison on the Hunter arrow was a nightmare!!

For an affected inhumane, it would only result in a long-healing wound, but for humans the poison could be fatal.

The third arrow shot towards Faust, but with the rest of his strength, Dom, threw himself in the way of the arrow hitting Faust. With the arrow pierced through Dom's chest.

"NO!!" Faust's scream with a body that started to waver from the wound, came towards Dom, who I was sure would not be able to survive.

Of the three Hunters in captivity, only one person remained who was now looking pusar towards Dom's body.

El's mind instantly blackened with anger. He lunged ferociously at the hunter who shot the arrow. Two hunters were instantly torn apart by his teeth and claws.

I tried to break through the sea of werewolves that continued to attack, to approach Faust and his brother. But El precedes me.

To her, Faust seemed to cry bitterly while hugging his sister. El kept fighting hard to prevent anyone from attacking them.

Still from El's eyes, I saw how Dom with a forced smile, stroked Faust's face one last time. Then his black eyes glared at El who was fighting desperately to protect Faust.

"Go. se-go-kan him!" said Dom to El with a sting.

"No!!!..." Faust roaring.

Dom's right, we have to leave immediately, if we want to save Faust.

"El.. Take her!!!" I cried, as I snatched away the only remaining Hunter shirt with lightning speed.

Fortunately the hunter was intelligent, so feeling the snatch of my snout, he pushed his body up my back - not a pleasant choice to carry another human besides Bee, he said, but I will ignore it for humanitarian reasons - trying to ride me properly.

After succeeding, his hands and feet gripped my serial body with all my might.

From El's mind, I saw him succeed - because Faust was beginning to lose his consciousness - bringing Faust with little coercion to his stump.

"What is this!!" The high shrill sound made my back cool.

In that instant all the inhumane turned to look at the source of the sound, several hundred meters from where I was standing, in front of the cave I saw it!!

Crispin.

And right now the sun is still shining warmly above the sky...............!!

"Run.." I cried to El to take advantage of the freezing moment that occurred because of Crispin's voice.

El immediately followed me darting away from the place that was now full of the scent of blood.

If I don't remember, I'm carrying two mortally wounded humans at the moment, I'll gladly pounce on Crispin with my claws, but I won't take such a foolish decision. I did want to kill him, but not at the expense of other creatures.

While El channeled a sense of pride when capturing my mind, he thought I had acted very amazingly right because it held my anger for Crispin.

He praised me with a line that I would never repeat, because it would be a shame if Roan were to hear it.

We didn't look back at all, just ran forward with all our might for a few minutes.

My ears did not catch the sound of hissing or pounding on the ground.

No one is chasing us. Even if there were, they were far behind, beyond the reach of my sharp ears.

My running speed rarely equaled, only El and Roan were the closest to my ability. It still left him several tens of meters behind me at the moment.

"You seen him? He walks under the sun!!" El said in a horrified tone, while recalling Crispin's figure in front of the cave.

"Yes El, I saw it!"

The vampire b*j*t was walking under the sun without burning. Very unpleasant news we will add to Abel.

But now most importantly, we had to take Faust and also the hunter that was on my back to a safe place to treat it.

"Thank you" The Hunter on my back whispered weakly. His consciousness is still good. His hands still hugged my neck tightly.

"Stop!!' El stopped suddenly.

Faust lost his consciousness altogether, he would definitely fall if we continued to run. Anxious and worried immediately colored El's mind.

"Calm down, Faust isn't an ordinary Hunter, he'll be fine"

I should try to calm him down.

Faust's body began to tilt, I swiftly held him down with my front foot, preventing him from sagging down.

"I can handle it" said Hunter who was on my back, fumbling in a thick coat on his body.

He apparently understood we were quitting because of Faust's circumstances. He took out a roll of brown thin rope from behind the coat.

I've seen pictures of those ropes in books. It was a special rope that the hunter had brought to bind the inhumane. Very strong, because it can withstand the strength of an adult werewolf. The captive Inhumane must have missed the rope, thinking it was useless, even if they had taken his other weapon.

After struggling to cope with the pain from his wound, he finally managed to get down from my back. El who saw him immediately bent his legs, because the hunter's height could not reach Faust.

He deftly tied Faust's hands together against El's neck. A complicated knot was made with a few minutes to surround Faust's body and El's stomach. It's not an adequate seatbelt, but we'll be able to run again.

We will continue to run through the forest until we reach the airport at Lavrentiya where the pilot is.

I don't know where it is, but I'll track the scent of the pilot when he gets there. A job that is not too challenging for me.

Aside from being a small town, the smell of the pilot was smelled like wet socks that had not been washed for years. There would not be many humans who could match such a scent.

From there I will also ask Uncle Rex to send a flight on Monath's private jet to Sheremetyevo . We won't have time to take care of Faust's fainting paperwork if we have to take a commercial flight.

"Stop!!.." I said, trying to prevent the hand from touching my back again.

I should have enjoyed the spa massage and also the scrub. But I couldn't stand it, because the material she was wearing was a little rough, so it made my back tickle every time Julie touched it.

Myra who was lying next to me, laughed repeatedly at the awkwardness of receiving this beauty treatment.

As soon as Duke left Blackmoon 4 days ago, Myra showered me with wedding prep activities.

We ordered a flash wedding dress that made the tailor on the pack almost cry out in despair, then chose the food and drinks to be served. And of course body care as it is today.

I completely resigned to all the wishes of Myra and Charlie of course.

Charlie wasn't here, but that doesn't mean he gave up trying to interfere in my wedding preparations.

Myra and Charlie did all these preparatory activities through a long video call. Making Myra look like a working Oscar, carrying her phone anywhere with eyes that never go off the screen.

They are busy discussing all the details and also the trinkets that will be used later.

Seeing those who are very excited 'discussed', I hope the transmitter tower on the hill behind the pack is struck by lightning. That way, at least they will stop arguing for a while, due to the absence of cell phone signals.

Giving up trying to rub my back, Julie finally ended the spa day today. He politely escorted me to a rinse in a warm bath.

Of all my activities these few days, soaking in warm water is my favorite activity. Myra was still talking to Charlie on her phone, entering the same Jacuzzi as me.

Myra laughed a few times hearing Charlie's story.

But from all the smiles and zeal Myra showed, I could see several times the glint of worry that had arisen in her eyes. I think it's because of Duke.

From the Duke's tone of speech as I say goodbye to him, I know he went to do something dangerous. I tried my hardest not to imagine what the Duke was really doing out there.

That thought always interrupted my night's sleep. I started having nightmares these few days.

A little different from my old nightmares, I can remember all those dreams. And everything was the same, containing blood as well as the Duke.

The dream made me very nervous when I woke up.

"Wait on! You can't enter carelessly" the exclamation at the door made me and Myra look in wonder.

Ternayta was Tita, who entered while gasping. "Scion's back, Zhena"

Happiness and relief enveloped my heart instantly.

"Oh. It's time!" Myra walked out without caring about her nudity in front of Tita and also the salon employee.

Tita grabbed the bathrobe next to the jacuzzi and handed it to Myra who was immediately worn by her. "Where are they?" tanyanya, to Tita.

"Hospital" Tita's answer grabbed me like an electric shock. My nightmare came back to my mind right then and there.

Without hesitation, I stood up and preceded Myra out of the room. But Tita grabbed me while slipping the bathrobe into my body.

Oh. right, I also have to wear clothes before I leave this salon.

"His body resistance is incredible considering he is human. The poison did not hit any of his vital organs as it spread very slowly. It's astonishing!" said Dr. Sidra while rubbing her chin was confused.

"But that's a joyous thing isn't it?" my word.

"Of course, Scion. That's what kept him alive until now. After the medicine I gave reacted, the poison would come out through blood vomit when he regained consciousness later, and after that he would recover. It takes a little while, but it'll heal"

I nodded in understanding hearing that advanced explanation.

The sad news is, I would feel very guilty if Faust died while I was with me. He's a shitty human, but he's Abel's grandson. I'm obligated to keep him in mind his relationship with my father, especially after what happened to Dom.

And I wouldn't be okay if El lost Faust.

Right now, El was still faithfully waiting for Faust in his room. He rejected Dr. Sidra asked him to rest.

Understandably, I would also ignore such advice if Bee was in the same state.

Dr. Sidra left me standing in the hospital hallway. Faust's treatment room was at the most remote place in the hospital, to avoid the many questions that had arisen due to Hunter's presence here. But I'm glad, because I don't have to ask Alva for more potions to hide Faust's scent.

At the moment only 3 people know I brought Hunter into the pack, which is me, El and also Dr. Sidras. And I'll make sure that number doesn't grow anytime soon.

I brought Faust directly to Blackmoon, because here he will get help faster. I told Abel and he decided that my idea was better.

He had to explain in detail about Faust's wound origin if he brought it to Hunter's headquarters. And since this reconnaissance mission was a secret, Abel would not be able to explain it.

Here, as long as no Elder knew of Faust's existence, he could heal himself calmly.

Abel is devastated to hear that Dom is still alive, but later dies from saving Faust.

She thanked him in a hoarse voice for successfully bringing Faust home, then decided on a phone call to grieve.

For the other Hunter, I left it in Quebec with Uncle Rex. He'll be fine in a human hospital. The wounds suffered quite severe, but common in humans, do not require special treatment or medicine such as Faust.

"Duke!!!" a relieved cry blared in the hallway where I stood.

I smiled to see who was coming. Bee ran, then ambushed me with his warm embrace.

Yeah... I miss her already.

Nothing makes me happier than something like this. Bee did not let go of her embrace for a while, she instead tightened it.

"I'm glad you're fine" he whispered. I smiled and lifted her up so that I could see her face clearly.

"Duke!!" screeches, panics. But I don't mind it.

"What's wrong?" I asked to see her eyes reddened, even though there were no tears there.

Bee shook his pigtailed head. "I'm just glad you came back safe" she said with a sweet smile.

Ughh.... it's dangerous!

I covered her face with one hand, but the deheman behind Bee canceled my intention to kiss her. Mom stood up while shaking her head looking at us.

"I didn't see you there Mom" I said, lowering Bee who had lowered his head in shame.

I hugged Mom for a moment, who was replied by patting her on the back.

"I'm glad you're okay" he said, wiping a wound on my arm that had been bandaged.

Bee who had just seen the wound, stroked it while looking at me worriedly.

"Just Bee's minor injuries, I'll heal in a few days" I explained as I stroked his head. I'm only hurt by the werewolf's scratch.

"Who is he?" Mom looked into the room behind me through the crack in the door that was still half open.

"Faust, Hunter was with us yesterday, and he's Abel's grandson"

Mom's eyes were round hearing my explanation.

"really? She's okay, isn't she?" ask again.

"I'm exposed to another Hunter's arrow, but it'll heal"

"Thank God, I don't know what to say to Abel if he has to lose his grandson as well" Mom breathed a sigh of relief.

"Why is El inside? And why is he so nervous?" bee's question severed my intention to ask more about Mom's words about Abel.

Bee followed Mom up into the room.

"El is currently trying to make him the first person Faust sees when he wakes up, so at least Faust will get him acquainted" I explained, under El's annoyed plot.

He hears Bee's question, and looks at me to hear what the answer is. He didn't like my answer of course.

"That's glad news El, I hope all is well" Mom gave a smile to El while waving in, she immediately caught the implied intent of my sentence earlier.

El nodded politely, but he glanced at me with angry eyes afterwards.

"Oh. Come on, Mom and Roan will know right away once I transform, you won't be able to hide it"

I don't think loving someone is something to hide. But if you remember Roan, I think El does need to hide it. I can imagine what kind of mockery Roan would throw at him.

"I don't understand, what do you mean?" Bee asked with a puzzled face looking at the three of us in turn.

I held her hand while walking out of the hallway out of the hospital.

"I'll explain later" I said as I pulled her closer.

Bee certainly needed a slightly longer explanation to understand.

*Vieux Boulogne Cheese: cheese with the most pungent smell in the whole world
