Finding You, Again

Finding You, Again
Again 6 - The Answer Question

A strange group is seen moving from Blackmoon's library towards Manor.

At the very front, an inhumane with incredible horns, led the ranks accompanied by the Duke whose mind was in turmoil.

The party consisted only of werewolves and elves, the vampires had returned to El's house, because the sun was about to rise.

They marched behind Sorrel, for their aim was the same, towards Manor. All of them were curious, as a result of Sorrel's words that referred to Zhena Blackmoon as his granddaughter, especially Kamaria.

"Lui man!"  Alva finally protested, because she was the one who handled Lui all this time.

He felt irritated, because of his ability as a doctor was smeared. Not being able to recognize the difference between elves and humans was an insult to her profession.

"Of course, part of it" Sorrel replied, still with a smile.

"Wait a minute, does that mean Belva is an elf?"

Duke concluded rashly. He had met Belva several times, and was very sure Belva was human. But given Lui's father's cruelty, Duke felt it was inappropriate to guess Daniel Delmora as an elf.

"No, and of course his father didn't either" Sorrel replied, as he climbed up the stairs towards the second floor of Manor.

The werewolf and the other guests who followed looked down from the ground floor with interest. Kamaria almost glared at the Duke's back. But they knew it would be rude to follow them upstairs.

Only Myra, Alva and Dihyan went up to the second floor.

The Duke knocked slowly, then opened the door.

Oscar was reading aloud next to Lui's bed. He only glanced for a moment when he saw Duke. But then woke up flabbergasted, looking at the figure that was following the Duke behind him. The book in his hand slid onto the floor and fell down noisily.

"How----" Oscar widened his eyes wide, his usual calm face, shattered in seconds. His mouth opened wide looking at Sorel and Dihyan.

The Duke sympathized, because Sorrel's form would shock anyone.

"Oscars! It's good to see you as healthy as ever" Sorrel said warmly.

Even Dihyan who looked cold from earlier, nodded slowly towards Oscar.

Duke feels like the person****** for misguiding the reason for Oscar. He already knew Sorrel!!!

His conversation with Oscar a few months ago surfaced on the surface of his brain. How would Oscar say if he had an inhumane acquaintance.

"The introduction you mentioned first was Sorrel?" asked the Duke, tired.

His brain had grown weary of receiving the shock today.

Oscar nodded but with an annoyed face.

"Why are you here?" Oscar asked in a loud voice, without the courtesy that Abel showed.

"To visit Lui of course" Sorrel replied cheerfully, walking closer to the bed.

He stroked Lui's head with his long fingers, then smiled. "You've been working hard sweetly" Sorrel said, in an even slower voice.

"I still don't understand!" The Duke finally exclaimed in annoyance.

He doesn't like to be in this situation. Darkness without clarity.

Sorrel laughed again. He then walked slowly towards the sofa and sat there.

The rest of the people in the room followed him, except for Oscar. The one who chose to sit back in his chair, still with eyes staring at the floor. Avoiding Sorrel's gaze, who was now preparing to explain everything the Duke wanted to know.

"I'm going to start with the cut part of my story. Because it's all related."

Sorrel appoints Lui and Oscar. The Duke nodded impatiently.

"I'm 2465 years old now, Duke. The story I told you in the library happened when I was 45. It's still very green and innocent, but since my father died in the war with Ronan, I'll have to replace him with power"

"A few hundred years after the war, with the Elves finally managed to restore the entire system in the sanctum, but we still have one problem, the number of Elves is very small, the number of Elves is very small, because of the many casualties. I was forced to see with my own eyes how the Elves were pushed to the path of extinction "

Duke began to be able to guess the outline of Sorrel's story.

"Therefore, I finally turned to another being on earth, man. I 'close' the woman from the humans to guard the existence of the Elves" Sorrel leaned his back against the sofa.

The Duke felt his breathing stop hearing that. Partly because of relief, the relationship between humans and inhumane turned out to be not as rare as he thought, partly because the actions of Sorrel could not be said to be true.

"I was very young back then and I must admit, I enjoyed that 'activity' more than I should" Sorrel chuckled amusedly now.

Oscar sizzled in disgust at hearing it. "You made a human as a baby-printing machine" he exclaimed furiously.

"Well, I didn't have a choice at the time. Do you know how old Dihyan is?" ask Sorrel to Duke and Oscar.

Duke shook his head, but Oscar did not reply, his face still looking the other way in disdain.

"641 years. And she was the youngest pure blood elf at the moment. Can you imagine how much time we would need to recover as before? I estimate, it will take more than three millennia!!" sorrel said, trying to find an excuse, to justify his actions.

"Right now my descendants are spreading all over the earth. If one day they reveal more features towards the Elves, I will take them to the Sanctum. But if they are normal like ordinary humans, I will leave them" Sorrel was still in his usual tone as he said that.

"I'm not proud of it, but with that move, I managed to recover Apolline's strength faster than it should have been even stronger. Injections of fresh blood in large quantities mean a lot to the well-being of the Sanctum"

Duke finally understood why Oscar was antipathy towards him. Sorrel really uses humans as baby printers. Duke now feels a little nauseous imagining the days of Sorrel 'sleeping' many women just to achieve his goal.

For the matter of his slightly different form, the Duke was very sure the women would not mind Sorrel, as he was in outline handsome.

But then the Duke imagined the moment how the babies of half-elves who were separated from their mothers, to be brought to the sanctum, were cruel.

"I didn't take them when I was a baby of course, I gave them a choice once they could make their own decisions. They are in the sanctum because it is his own choice, not coercion. Like Oscar, he refused my invitation, so he remains in the human world. Abel, gladly accepting my invitation, for Faust he rejected it of course" Sorrel added, appropriately answering the Duke's thoughts, and slightly managed to reduce his disgust.

"Your ability to detect people's feelings is because you're a descendant of Elves?" said Duke looking at Oscar with narrowed eyes.

Oscar only glared at hearing the question, lazily answering.

Worth it, Inner Duke.

Such an ability did not belong to a human, Duke should have guessed it from the beginning, instead of believing in Oscar's nonsense that said all Delmora was human.

About Faust, the Duke also finally understood why he could never smell her. The situation came about because he was also an inhumane descendant . To Abel, the Duke had absolutely no idea what made him special.

"You're right Duke, so I want to take Oscar to the Sanctum. Although he is not a direct descendant of me, but the Belva ancestor from the previous five generations was my pretty normal son" Sorrel answered all the tangled questions in the Duke's mind.

Belva is the umpteenth descendant of an elf, and due to the complex DNA chain, the elf's nature can still decline on Oscar, Duke concludes Sorrel's complicated explanation inside his head.

"But Bee----I mean Lui, is she normal?" ask Duke.

"Yes, or I used to think of it that way. But after the incident that left him injured in that head, I knew Lui was not an ordinary human being" Sorrel replied.

"Until this moment, I'm still watching with jellies all my descendants, so I know what's going on in their lives" Sorrel added, seeing Duke wonder, how could Sorrel also know about it.

"Spying you mean!" beat Oscar out loud.

Sorrel simply smiled in response to that angry cry.

"Elf has more survival power than ordinary humans. Therefore Lui can survive, even by leaving something in her head" continued Sorrel.

Duke glanced at Alva who was now frowning. Alva who said it was a miracle when Lui was able to survive with the lump on her head. One more mystery answered.

"I'm glad you asked Alva for help to get Lui back to Duke's senses, that was the right move"

Sorrel's praise was precisely splashing anger in Duke's heart.

"You know how Bee is doing, but you're not doing anything to help him?" The Duke growled violently. Daniel Delmora almost killed Lui.

If Sorrel had come sooner and helped him, it wouldn't have happened.

"You know, I'd love to hear the reason too!" Oscar now looked at Sorrel, also with eyes full of anger.

"Because you've taken Duke's right path, and neither will Oscar let anything happen to Lui. I didn't have to interfere to finish it at that moment" Sorrel replied lightly to Duke and Oscar's anger.

That answer is certainly not satisfactory for Duke or Oscar. But Sorrel continued the story without caring about them.

"Lui's situation was fine, until when a second shock was present in his life. That is meeting you, and also losing you. All of you are aware of how Lui also reacted strangely right?" Sorrel asked again.

"You mean about that memory loss?" Myra asked, as Duke was still busy trying to calm down.

"Yes, once again it happened because of the power of the Elves within Lui. His brain locked the memories of the Duke neatly, because back then the Duke was the source of his death. "

The sentence settled quickly in the Duke's mind and made his stomach churn full of guilt.

"I mentioned Dyad, didn't I?" Sorrel discussed something that had become another source of curiosity.

"What do you mean is Mate ?" duke said, taking his mind off Sorrel's unpleasant words earlier.

"Dyad!. Why do you call it mate? That sounds a bit disgusting" Sorrel said frowning. The term mate contains the connotation of a sexual partner.

Coming from someone who fucked a lot of women just to pick up the baby, that statement sounded very ironic, the inner Duke.

"The nature of this Dyad you get from the elves, because as I was telling you, witches make werewolves from humans and wolves using the blood of elves. Because of that some elf properties are down on you guys, got it?"

Duke and Myra nodded.

"The difference, Dyad in the elves only applies to fellow elves. But since Lui's blood is no longer pure, I think she 'crossed' from that tradition and chose you"

"Chose?" The Duke exclaimed in surprise, the mate could not choose.

Myra's face paled, reflecting on how she struggled to be with Owen. If it was a choice, Myra had already tried hard not to vote for Owen, and failed.

"Yes, an elf can choose his mate and tie him in a Dyad, therefore Dyad's bond requires mutual feelings. Not applicable to werewolves of course, werewolves have an absolute Dyad pair with no choice. That was the difference between the Dyad Elf and the werewolf" Sorrel smiled, as the Duke now also paled.

Lui's shadow could choose another man, making her stomach twisted painfully.

"Don't worry, Lui chose you three years ago. That bond won't change in his lifetime, as Dyad will only be intertwined once in a lifetime. Unless he erases you again"

Sorrel conveyed a slightly comforting fact, but with a bitter ending.

The Duke smiled wryly hearing that. He would not forget the fact how Lui had unknowingly 'removed it' in order to survive.

With a swift and unexpected move, Sorrel stuck his hand forward and grabbed the Duke's face, pulling him closer. The duke who was shocked, did not have time to dodge that grip.

In his heart the Duke shouted an oath of absorbency, because Sorrel's movements were very smooth, it would be very difficult to match him at that speed.

"Don't you realize? This green mata is the seal that Lui gave you as a Dyad" he said, looking into the Duke's eyes.

With the duke automatically shaking his head, Sorrel released his grip on the Duke's face, but his eyes were still pointed at it.

"The eyes of all werewolves are colored between brown, yellow, or smelly-grey. But not green. Green is the color of the elves. These eyes turn yellowish again, when Lui forgets about you, right?"

"Yes, Duke's eyes returned to normal after he returned to the pack" Myra replied.

Sorrel nodded and smiled. "Your cases are truly unique. I can't wait to see how it goes"

Now he acts like a reader of a novel who can't wait for the next chapter.

"Does that mean Lui won't age like a normal human? Part of herself was an elf" Myra questioned the thing that never again crossed Duke's mind.

The Duke never wanted to question how long Lui lived. If Lui died, then he would follow her, just like that. But he was curious about Sorrel's answer now.

"Of course, there was elf blood on Lui's body. And we live much longer than werewolves. Since Lui has already tied the Duke to the Dyad of the elves, the Duke will also age following Lui's age, no matter what"

Sorrel's reply made Myra's face a tremendous relief.

For Duke, that explanation only meant that he had a longer time to spend with Lui. It made her a little happy, but the problem was that she preferred Lui in her conscious state.

The duke couldn't decide how to judge Sorrel, he was generally fine. But there are some parts of it that are lacking. Especially his habit of smiling for no reason and random. As if he knew more than he should.

It looks a bitch to Duke.

"Well, since it's all clear, I'll wake Lui up" Sorrel nimbly jumped off the couch.

"Wait on! Can you do it?!"

The Duke exclaimed loudly, barely able to hide the joyous cheers in his brain. But at once regretted, because he chose to tell a story rather than do it from earlier.

"Of course" Sorrel laughed amusedly, as he thought it was very obvious.

"What caused Lui to go into a coma?" cetus Alva, finally could not stand it and asked what was bothering him these few days.

"Insignia of course" Sorrel replied directly, astonished that Alva was unaware of it.

"The spell that was in Lui's head is fine" Alva tried to defend herself.

"That's what you think the science you're learning isn't enough to detect" Sorrel said, shutting Alva's mouth.

He's outmatched.

"Alpha's blood that Duke put on Lui's body, reacted to waking up the elven's blood that was on Lui. Alpha blood doesn't just contain the power of one Alpha person does it? That blood has been passed down for thousands of years. It's only natural that the blood of the elves in Lui's body is finally piqued, and is coming out of his body" Sorrel explained at length.

"That blue fog is the power of the elves?" duke asked while recalling how the scene of horror as Lui floated above the ground.

"Yes, it is the same power of elves as me. Water element" Sorrel conveyed an interesting info, but Duke was not looking to discuss more dizzying details at this time. Then he just nodded.

Similarly Alva, can only nod while biting his lower lip.

Of course Alva did not know about Lui's strength, the thing he never imagined was that there was elf blood on Lui's body.

Oscar never explained it to her.

But on the contrary, Alva and Duke never explained their inhumane status to Oscar. They hid each other the facts that should have helped Lui recover faster.

Sorrel got closer to the bed then swung his hand in a complicated shape. A moment later the luminescence of a full circle of light symbols appeared under Lui's body. Sorrel smiled as he pointed to one side of the circle.

"You see, Alva. Your spell is still there because you just tied it to Lui's human side. Her elf side was completely unaffected, her elf side was awakened due to outside influences"

"I never thought to see it using the diagram*en masse**" Alva said.

"I can understand, because you think of him as a whole human being"

With a single swing of Sorrel's hand, the circle disappeared.

The duke had no idea what they were talking about at all, but his heart was greatly relieved, as Sorrel easily found the matter.

"Can you remove the needle and this other equipment?" Sorrel stared dislikefully at Lui's hand that was stuck in the infusion.

Deftly, Alva carried out Sorrel's request.

"Dihyan, take him!" Sorrel turned his head towards Dihyan, who was watching Alva's work closely.

Dihyan took off his robe, revealing brown clothes that smelled of tree bark. Guess Duke, indeed the shirt is made of tree bark. But with modern models and processing. Dihyan looks like a hunter, in that shirt.

He went to the bed, and put his hand under Lui's neck.

"What are you doing?" Duke grabs Dihyan's hand, preventing.

"Lifted it up of course"

Dihyan's voice was almost similar to Sorrel's, slightly heavier, but still like a whisper, with a more firm tone.

"Heh. if that's what you want" Dihyan shrugged indifferently.

Another consequence of Sorrel's story was the ingrained idea that Lui could choose another Dyad.

That's bad news for Duke, so he won't let Lui get close to any inhumane after this.

The Duke raised Lui's increasingly light body and looked at Sorrel asking for his purpose.

"Get out, of course" Sorrel pointed to the window.

"Excuse me?"

Has he gone mad? inner Duke. The temperature outside currently reached minus sixteen degrees centigrade, Lui would freeze.

"I must bring it near the Duke tree, the strength of the elves will flow better in the open. And I need maximum power to use my magic on Lui"

"I'll put on a coat" Myra quickly walked towards the closet, but Sorrel prevented it with his hands.

"No need! Lui will be fine outside. Her elf blood that had awakened, would make her fine" Sorrel said starting to walk towards the exit.

"You sure?!" The Duke still doubted that explanation.

"Follow--" Sorrel waved his hand impatiently at the door that had opened. Don't mind Duke's question.

While frowning, the Duke finally followed him out.

Oscar immediately grabbed his coat hanging near the door and lightning-fast caught up with them. Alva who did not want to miss the chance to see the Elf magic, did the same.

The room was quiet all of a sudden, leaving behind Dihyan and Myra.

"It's nice to meet you, we haven't had time to greet each other" Myra said, just breaking the silence.

"I'm also happy to meet you" Dihyan said with a wry smile. "Your son is amazing" said Dihyan, insinuating Duke's overly jealous attitude towards him.

They went together after Sorrel's entourage.

"Maybe it's a werewolf trait you didn't manage to lose, because I can make sure his dad will do the same"

Myra gave a small smile, reminiscing about how Owen barely let her out of the hotel penthouse when they were in Quebec. Werewolves are very possessive of their mate.

"Maybe you're right" Dihyan replied gently, his manners clearly flawless. Unlike the Duke who can sometimes be a little cruel.

It's worth it that she's jealous, Myra's inner self with a wry smile. Elves can be quite dazzling if they want to.

\~\~\~\~

Once down the stairs, the Duke desperately wanted to go back into the room, as all the pack guests were now in the living room.

Including some werewolves who did not attend the meeting. Of course the arrival of the Duke while carrying Lui, diverted all their attention, from Sorrel's strange form.

Some of them, just glancing at her for the sake of manners, but Arana and of course Kamaria, stuck out her head trying to see Lui.

But Duke didn't give me a chance. They could only see Lui's dangling blonde hair.

"Morning!!" Sorrel greeted them kindly, as if he had not just met a moment ago.

"I'll continue my story later tonight, because there's a little more important business right now" he said, when no one asked.

Just move, you old prick!! the Inner Duke almost cursed, if only the new Myra arrived next to him did not grip his shoulder.

Sorrel's manners were considered excessive by the Duke, who began to be uncomfortable with the amount of attention Lui received.

Sorrel continued his steps out of Manor, then walked towards the forest after looking around.

The entourage that followed him back grew bigger, as the guests at Manor finally caught up with them curiously.

Sorrel did not ban it, and Duke did not have time to think about privacy at this time. His whole mind was focused on Lui.

Sorrel arrived under a tree that had the largest circumference at the edge of the forest. His hand beckoned for the Duke to stop, and then his hand jerked.

A blue circle of light with various small symbols formed on the fingertips of Sorrel's right hand, then Sorrel plunged his right hand right in the middle of the circle.

A second later the circle disappeared, changing with a 2-meter long stick held tightly by it.

The stick was made of wood, with the end full of branches. The stick will look like a small tree without leaves.

With a single swing, Sorrel stuck the stick to the ground, instantly the air around Sorrel turned warm.

Sorrel walked closer to the tree, at every place where Sorrel's feet were treading, grass and flower bushes sprinkled with a miraculous speed, piercing through the snow that was now beginning to melt.

The Duke was grateful they had come out of the Manor. Because if not, he could imagine how the wood that became the building material for the walls and floors of his house, would grow leaves and twigs under the soles of Sorrel's feet.

The tree in front of him, also melted its snow quickly, and the tree was now springing up to grow light green leaves.

In a short time Sorrel brought spring around the tree. Complete with colorful wildflowers and lush vines. None of those present were able to make a sound seeing the sight.

But the show's not finished.

"Put Lui here" Sorrel pointed to the grass just below the tree.

The Duke laid Lui gently on the ground.

"Open his right shoulder" continued Sorrel.

The duke glanced towards the crowd who was within a safe distance, then lowered a bit the right part of Lui's dress.

Sorrel looked down at the black crescent moon insignia painted on the pale shoulder.

The insignia was shaped like a crescent moon tatoo with several black stripes following the blood vessels at its edges.

"You should have been aware when you saw that Duke, the insignia of Blackmoon only had the shape of a black crescent moon, without any black stripes" Sorrel said as he pointed.

"How am I supposed to know the exact shape of Blackmoon's insignia, if this is the first time I've given it?" the Duke replied coldly.

"Ahhh--of course" Sorrel nodded in understanding.

Alpha will mark a new siewolf as a couple if it does break up or die, like his father. But Lui was the first - and last - experience for the Duke to give his insignia\, of course he wouldn't know if there was a slight difference to his form.

And of course he never saw any form of insignia on Myra's body. Myra's dressing sense was a little conservative other than for the nightgown.

"Open your clothes" Sorrel stood up again. "What?!" The duke looked at Sorrel in surprise.

"Please? We have to be quick" Sorrel declined to give an explanation.

With the Duke's frown opened the black sweater he wore and was bare-chested.

"Stand here" Sorrel pointed to the space next to Lui lying down. He nodded in satisfaction when he saw the Duke's position was in accordance with what he wanted.

"Diyan!" Sorrel.

In an instant Dihyan broke through the crowd of spectators and stood next to Sorrel. His hand waved and a stick appeared in his right hand in a light.

The wand was very compatible with Dihyan's hair, as it was white made of marble. Multicolored stones are beautifully embedded along the stick.

Sorrel pulled out his staff from the ground, and waved it towards Lui. Slowly, the vines began to envelop Lui's body.

"He's fine" Sorrel prevented the Duke from approaching Lui, he was worried because Lui's body was as if it would be swallowed by the forest herbs.

Supported by the vines, Lui's body slowly stood upright.

Without touching the ground, Lui's body load is entirely supported by the plant.

Lui's position was now right in front of the Duke. Clearly Duke could feel Lui's weak breath in the absence of a breathing machine.

Sorrel turned his head towards Dihyan and nodded.

At the same second as their cane swings, a dazzling light show begins.

The magic circle full of symbols shimmered in blue and green, encircling the bodies of Duke and Lui as well. With a speed that the eyes could not follow, a number of circles formed in quick succession.

"What's that?"

Kamaria whispered in amazement at the many magic circles that formed around Lui and Duke alternated, signifying the complexity of the magic that Sorrel and Dihyan cast.

"Magic that I will not be able to do, even if I sell my soul. Only pure-blooded elves could perform such high-level elemental magic" Alva hissed with amazed eyes.

"That's right, I've never seen a witch cast that many spells in such a short time" Abel said from next door.

The duke who was standing in the middle of the circle closed his eyes due to the glare of the light coming.

After that, the cold started to crawl through his veins. Starting from the tip of his foot that was tracing on the ground, it crept slowly all over his body.

What happened next was worse than any pain she had ever suffered.

A chill all over his body, began to demand. Demanding all the warmth of the Duke's body to fight him.

The Duke's body seemed to be torn apart by it, the cold hit his heart with an invisible ice knife.

A cry of pain escaped from the Duke's mouth which made Myra gasp.

Alva who was holding her hand from getting close, as jumping into the middle of the magic circle was foolishness.

"Don't fight him Duke, that coldness is Lui. His human body was unable to contain the turbulent elf blood on his body. You have to help Lui" Sorrel whispered to Duke's ear.

The moment he heard it, the Duke opened his eyes and released all the resistance that was whirling in his body, receiving all the cold and pain that came. His teeth clenched tightly, holding a shout in the throat.

"Let go of all your strength, you won't be able to hold it in a human form" Sorrel whispered.

"ARRRRRRRHHHH-----!!"

With a loud shout, the Duke released all of his self-control. The warm overflow of werewolves lunged, rolling up the coldness that colonized his body.

His figure began to turn into a black wolf in a split second. The Duke wolf immediately attracted the attention of the audience.

"That's Duke?" Arana pointed.

Myra nodded as she widened her eyes, as she barely recognized Duke's wolf form.

The Duke wolf's body shimmered bluishly, on the sidelines of its dense black fur, the blue light flashed softly. When viewed more closely, the light was in the form of a fog that crept between the dense feathers.

The Duke's body trembled violently, trying to resist the hail of ice needles, which hit him simultaneously throughout his body.

"Hold on, we're almost done!!" whisper Sorrel strengthen him.

"Dihyan.....!!" Sorrel shouted while swinging his staff.

Dihyan gritted his teeth, swinging his staff forward for the last time. Sweat threads adorned the forehead, due to the amount of power that had to be expended for elemental magic.

Alongside Sorrel and Dihyan stuck their wands onto the ground, and slowly the dazzling light from the magic circle faded away as the diagram disappeared.

But Duke's struggle was not over, a scream of agony escaped from his muzzle and he fell to his feet as the sting of pain now focused on his chest, just above the heart.

Duke tried to take a deep breath to ease the pain, but it didn't help much.

"Receive Duke, that cold will be a part of you now, just like Lui" Sorrel looked at Duke with a gentle smile.

Upon hearing Sorrel's words, once again the Duke closed his eyes. Took the pain that befell him.

"Bee. I missed you"

The duke begged in his head, before he finally succumbed to the darkness that greeted his consciousness.

Duke's wolf body fell down and thumped heavily on the ground.

"Duke!!" Myra exclaimed in panic, but Alva still held her back, not knowing if it was safe to get close.

Sorrel smiled at Duke, who was now beginning to shrink back into a human on his stomach.

"Good work" said Sorrel, slipping his robe onto the naked Duke's body.

The sound of footsteps approaching the edge of the forest, El and Roan appeared in their wolf form while grunting and snorting agitatedly.

Sorrel approached them, "Did you also feel the pain earlier? Sorry, I should have warned you" Sorrel bowed his head apologizing.

Roan almost choked on his own saliva, when he saw the form of Sorrel and Dihyan, El was also surprised but then his attention was immediately diverted to see the Duke's body lying covered in a cloak.

"Is Duke okay?" El asked, looking at Roan who was still unusually agitated due to the presence of an unknown figure.

They had yet to recover from the shock emanating from Duke's pain, and now another strangeness was manifesting before them.

"He's fine. After enough rest he will be conscious and healthy" Sorrel said answering a question in El's head.

El and Roan snorted backwards in shock.

"You hear us?" Roan asked in horror.

Sorrel smiled, "Go back to your duties. If Duke is aware, you can ask freely about what happened" he said.

The smile did not give them a definite answer, whether Sorrel was really listening to the conversation in their heads, or was he just second-guessing.

Roan looked towards Myra who also gave a nod in agreement. Security around the pack is very important. They both need to stay in his post.

Roan and El finally, spur their feet away from the place.

"Near-near--" Sorrel waved towards Myra and the others. Myra immediately ran over to the Duke.

"You're going to need help lifting him to Manor" Sorrel looked at the watching crowd.

"I'll take him" Aygul walked up to the Duke.

"good. And now Myra, I hope you won't mind, because me and Dihyan will trouble you for the next few days"

Sorrel looked down courteously at Myra, who was confused, because of the rapid change in Sorrel's subject.

"Ehh.."

"Me and Dihyan won't be able to return to Apolline at this time, we have to restore our strength before we can create a magic circle that takes us home" he explained.

"Oh-of course. I don't mind" Myra replied immediately. It was his duty as the host, they did not need to ask.

"Dihyan---"Sorrel raised his staff towards Lui.

Dihyan moved from where he was standing and then stood guard next to Lui.

The swing of Sorrel's wand made the plant supporting Lui instantly wither, and Lui's body fell in Dihyan's arms.

"I think it will be safe, since Duke is fainting" Sorrel chuckled at the sight, he then walked towards Manor ahead of another inhumane, who had yet to recover from the astonishment.

The last Kamaria left the place, seeing how a patch of green land was slowly covered in snow that started to fall. He bit his lips in a frown.

She knew her desire to get Duke would not be easy, but Kamaria was not used to the word surrender, and now was not.
