The morning was still very early, but the activities on the Blackmoon pack had been normal, after a few days had stopped.
During the inhumane meeting, Alpha ordered the entire warha pack to limit activities outside the home, even the school was also off for a few days.
Only the werewolves chosen for guard duty or who helped inside the Manor, were still wandering around a little freely.
Some residents who started their activities were seen stopping in a small field next to Manor.
The field was commonly used for Gentry training, but in recent days the Duke turned it into a training ground for his special forces. And as usual, this morning, the field was boisterous.
There was a sound of shouting and shouting from there. Sometimes the voice, interrupted by the lightest laughter of Sorrel.
The pack citizens who happened to pass through the field, paused for a moment to look at the training that was going on. Moreover, after realizing, the ongoing match practice was between Alpha Duke and Alpha Sepehr of Badira.
The battle between two Alphas was an incredible event worth watching.
In the middle of the field, Aygul appeared in the form of a human being with an annoyed face, because from earlier, his attack could not touch the Duke at all.
On the edge of the field Duke walked slowly with caution, while taking into account where the next attack of Aygul will come from.
This match practice happened without a plan, he was just going to train with his usual warrior. But when Aygul heard about it, he insisted on coming along.
And this was the end, the two of them training, while the rows of warrior wolves lined up neatly on the edge of the field.
They certainly enjoyed this rare spectacle. At least they had a chance to see Duke struggling a little in self-defense, because all this time, they could not make Duke sweat a single drop of stuff.
Duke's clothes were now bathed in sweat, although most of the field was still covered in snow. He really worked hard against Aygul, he was not a trivial opponent.
Needless to say, the two of them had already maximized their wolf senses in this fight.
As Sorrel has said, Aygul is an Alpha - Mate like his father.
Thus, clearly the level of power of Aygul was on par with Owen, even reluctantly, the Duke admitted inwardly, Aygul is slightly superior to his father. Probably because of the age factor.
"I am honored to see this match practice" Sorrel exclaimed from the edge of the field in a carefree tone.
A wide smile was etched on his face. The little smiling Duke heard that. Elves are supposed to be peace-loving creatures. But maybe he was bored, to a little forget about his identity.
Next to him, Dihyan did not look at the field at all. His face was buried perfectly in the book he was reading. He was very interested in the wide variety of collection books from the library pack. Dihyan has been a loyal customer there.
A bit of excitement occurred when he first came.
After all, it was not every day the library pack got a customer of a very conspicuous Elf like Dihyan, but now he had been on good terms with the library guards.
"I'm beginning to understand why the Dyad bond that Sorrel said is special. You're so strong" Aygul let out an irritated sigh.
"Thanks! You're not too bad either"
The Duke half-heartedly said. Inwardly, he was annoyed at Aygul's ability more than he had imagined.
Once again with a sudden, Aygul set foot and lunged at him. And Duke dodged deftly. He caught Aygul's hand, then tried to throw a punch toward the jaw.
But Aygul was no less deft, he dodged at the last second. Once again the Duke only hit the wind, but a slight gap in Aygul's defense, making the Duke able to lift a kick.
Aygul realized too late, he could still avoid it, but most of Duke's kicks still hit his legs. The throbbing pain almost made Aygul curse.
Aygul stomped his hands, breaking away.
"If you follow my instincts, I'd love to fight you in wolf form, but I don't think you'd be happy" he said with a mischievous smile.
"Of course!" sergeant Duke. "My schedule today is to train with my troops, not against you" the Duke replied in annoyance.
But to be honest, Duke was also very tempted by Aygul's invitation, but he knew for sure his fight with Aygul in wolf form would last a very long time, and result in serious injuries.
It was a foolish deed, because in the near future they will fight together.
"Hhhh---All right..fine..." Aygul finally retreated out of the field and sat down next to Sorrel, adjusting his breathing.
Sorrel smiled amusedly looking at her. Aygul had never met an opponent as strong as Duke before, this experience left his head slightly deflated.
Now training is back to normal, Duke is attacked simultaneously by 15 wolves. Or rather Duke was playing with 15 wolves simultaneously.
\~\~\~\~\~\~\~IlI\~\~\~\~\~\~
Lui's body, lying on the bed, began to show a slight movement. His fingers jerked slowly, before his eyes opened.
There was no need for an infusion or anything on his hand, as Sorrel forbade it.
Instead, Sorrel bewitched Lui's body once a day, with a spell that left Alva glaring in awe because of its complexity. The magic made Lui not need food from the infusion liquid. And from the state of Lui's face, it was clear the spell worked better than an infusion.
Lui's face looked fresh and lively, not withered and dry like before.
Lui's eyes flickered softly, before finally recognizing the surrounding atmosphere. Quickly, those eyes were filled with tears.
Slowly fill the currently empty room.
Oscar, who usually stays on the balcony, receives a business phone call from London.
He did not see how Lui's body was, slowly getting up and sitting down. Still with shoulders shaking from crying.
Slowly Lui tried to get out of bed, Oscar who just walked in saw the scene with a stunned face.
"Lui!! You're conscious" he exclaimed, running up to the bed and trying to prevent him from getting off.
"Where's David?" lui asked while wiping away the tears, which did not stop coming down.
"Take it easy, I'll call him" Oscar panicked at Lui's situation.
Lui will usually be limp and powerless when conscious from a coma. But this was beyond her expectations, as Lui was now starting to take a slow step. Although limped and very shaky, but his legs can function.
"Let's wait here" Oscar held onto Lui's arm to prevent her from going any further.
The body was limp, but not down.
"No, I have to see him now!!" exclaim Lui with a louder voice.
"Alright, I'll take you"
Oscar quickly gives up, fearing Lui will faint again, if forcing her back into bed. Oscar grabs Lui's hand and will carry her.
But Lui refused. His hand pushed down Oscar's body slowly, he wanted to walk on both feet.
Lui knows, the key to getting her legs to function properly fast, is to practice. So slowly, Oscar pushed Lui out of the room. Oscar's hand held onto Lui's body.
Very slowly Lui walked down the stairs, some omega who were working on cleaning the Manor, looking at the scene stunned, but did not dare to ask.
"Lui!!!" a loud scream sounded from the door.
Myra exclaimed in surprise, dropping her vegetable basket onto the floor. Spreading potatoes and carrots in all directions.
In a hurry, he approached Lui.
"You're aware? What are you guys doing here?" her tanyanya was confused, while looking at Oscar and Lui alternately.
Lui couldn't answer because of her breath. Not because he was tired, but his crying did not stop.
"Duke, he wants to see Duke now" Oscar replied.
"Oh.he's in the field west of Manor. Come on...!."
Myra wanted to ask what exactly was going on, but the panicked look from Oscar made her know, this is not the right time.
So Myra just took Lui's free hand to help her walk.
On the field, the Duke's attention was completely seized with his training with the wolves, so it was unaware of Lui's figure slowly emerging from the door.
"Pace!" Lui muttered softly, but of course the Duke heard it, as his movements came to a sudden halt.
An opportunity that Farjad had not wasted, seeing the gap, he pounced on it mercilessly.
Cussing loudly, the Duke fell under the claws of Farjad. His hand rubbed his ears in annoyance. He thought the ear was playing tricks on him, because he had heard Lui's voice.
"Pace!" Lui raised her voice.
And the Duke finally realized, the voice he heard was not a dream. With all his strength, he pushed the giant foot of Farjad that was on his chest and got up.
Farjad's turn that swears in his head, how could he be pushed so young, even though Duke is still in human form?
After turning his head in a daze, the Duke finally found out where the direction the voice was coming from, and his eyes widened.
For a few seconds, his eyes blinked many times, trying to convince himself, if the scene he saw was not a hallucination, nor a mirage.
Lui broke away from Oscar's hands and Myra then stepped slowly.
"Pace.". "this time Lui called out in a voice full of tears.
"It's real...!!!! " The Duke exclaimed, realizing the figure of Lui he saw was not his wild shadow.
The duke darted away with lightning speed, leaving behind a confused pack of wolves.
His hand precisely caught Lui's staggered body losing energy.
"Bee... You realize!!" The Duke clasped the weak body, with great relief and happiness.
"I'm sorry.. I'm sorry!! I'm such a fool" Lui whispered between her cries.
The duke who was dominated by happiness, did not pay much attention to Lui's words. He continued to hug Lui's body happily.
But the sobbing of Lui who did not stop finally made Duke distracted.
"Bee, what's wrong?" his question, while kneeling, followed Lui's body which slowly sank to the ground.
"I'm bod.oh once" said Lui.
"No.. You're never stupid, Bee. Quit crying. What was? " The duke is starting to get confused by the cause of Lui's cries right now.
"Paces... Excuse me. I've been making you suffer all this time"
Lui finally managed to compose the sentence well..
"What did you call me?"
Duke's ears opened perfectly, so he couldn't possibly have misheard. But still, for Duke, the call was too sweet to be true.
"Paces... I recall... I remember everything"
Once again, Lui's tears crept down her cheeks
"Oh.. Bee" Finally the Duke understood. Lui's memory has returned!!!
Haru and happy once again simultaneously grew in his heart. The Duke muttered Lui's name dozens of times while hugging her tightly.
He remembered, he remembered me, the Duke bathed him over and over again, afraid that all this would turn into a dream.
"I'm sorry... "
Lui who was filled with regret, could only mutter the word before finally draining her strength and her body drooped limp.
Duke panicked.
"Call Dr. Sidra" he exclaimed as he lifted Lui's body and ran inside the Manor. A second later the dark brown wolf shot towards the hospital.
The audience around the field rose up in confusion, as the scenery quickly changed, but not with Sorrel. Showing incredible speed, he darted into the Manor, overtaking Duke who ran into the room.
"Stop!"
Sorrel ruled the Duke in a resolute tone once he reached the room.
The duke who had completely forgotten his whereabouts, was slightly aghast.
Not a single creature in the pack dared to rule it before. But Duke complied and stepped away from the bed where he laid Lui.
Duke looked apologetically at Dr. Sidra who came after him, with messy hair, signifies that he quickly ran to Manor because of the Duke's call.
He should not have called out to her, but once again the Duke forgot Sorrel. If anyone knew what happened to Lui, it was Sorrel.
Dr. Sidra smiled as she shook her head, as a gesture was not a problem. He then looked at how Sorrel was examining Lui, hoping that there was something he could learn.
This scene was never boring for Sidra. And maybe Alva if he's still here. But yesterday he had returned to civilization. Her other patients were waiting for her to return.
Sorrel took out his wand once more.
Taking a deep breath, Sorrel swung his staff to form a complex symbol, and instantly a complex blue magic circle appeared around Lui's bed. It then ascended slowly enveloping Lui. Over the next few minutes, Sorrel checked the circle and Lui's body.
Along with the swing of his cane downwards, the circle disappeared.
Sorrel turned his head towards the Duke who looked at all those processes tensely. "He remembers everything about you?" ask Sorrel.
Duke nodded. Myra squealed in surprise, and Oscar glared in disbelief.
"You sure?" Sorrel reiterated that he did not want any mistakes or misunderstandings.
"Yes, he called me Pace. He did not remember the name before" explained the Duke with a stern face.
Sorrel nodded in understanding.
"I need a little bit of your blood" Sorrel grabbed something at the waist and handed it to Duke.
A small knife with a leather handle.
Without question, the Duke slashed his palm with a single swing. Blood began to flow profusely and Sorrel soaked the end of his wand with the blood.
Initially, the blood flowed as it should, but slowly, its flow began to defy the direction of gravity. The blood flow was moving according to what Sorrel wanted. Even the droplets splashing onto the floor started to float up and stick to the stick.
"Grandfather!..." Dihyan who had just arrived at the door looked at Sorrel's actions with horrified eyes.
"You can't do it" Dihyan said as he walked over to Sorrel.
"Of course I can" Sorrel replied lightly, as if Dihyan was joking.
"I'll help" Dihyan directly pulled out his white wand from the magic circle.
"No!!!" Sorrel looked fiercely at Dihyan.
This was the first time the Duke had seen Sorrel with very serious eyes.
"Relax..." Sorrel had returned to his gentle tone of voice, not looking any more anger on his face.
Reluctantly Dihyan removed his wand, then saw how Sorrel's wooden stick had now been covered by Alpha's blood.
That plain wooden stick, was now filled with an even red streak of blood. Duke recognized that pattern. The pattern was similar to the one inside the blue-colored moon tattoo etched on his chest.
The Duke glanced at Dihyan curiously, as the face still implied a great deal of worry.
What exactly will Sorrel do? inner Duke.
"Stand in here!" Sorrel pointed to the spot next to the bed, and the Duke according.
This time the swing of Sorrel's wand conjures up a blood-red magic circle that encircles the bed on which Lui lies and also the Duke.
Dihyan scowled not like to look at the circle. He even stepped back, enlarging his distance with the circle.
In contrast to his previous experience, Sorrel's spell this time made the Duke's body and his entire internal organs feel like they were being forcefully pulled to the ground by a power so overwhelming it could be.
The Duke had to step his foot on the floor, against his desire to kneel and succumb to the painful pull.
Sorrel's blue iris lit up along with the appearance of layers of additional magic circles around Lui and Duke.
The pressure that Duke felt was also getting bigger. His teeth were gritting, as if it would be broken, so hard he clenched his jaw, holding back pain.
After the pain that seemed to last forever, the pull that Duke felt began to diminish, and he began to be able to regulate his breathing, a pale color began to leave his face.
In contrast to Sorrel, his face actually looks very white with grains of sweat.
His wand swung once more, and the last magic circle shrank to the size of a palm but did not disappear. The circle floated in front of the cane.
Sorrel uttered a line of incantations, and the circle split into two identical circles.
With the direction of the stick and his hand, the circle drifted in different directions, one approached towards the Duke, and another towards Lui.
Duke looked with widened eyes full of questions, and before he could say anything, the circle shot towards the chest where his blue moon tattoo was. Another circle is seen infiltrating Lui's right neck.
The duke was willing to bet with his entire fortune, that the circle was fused with the black moon mark he had given Lui.
The duke flicked his clothes and saw that the insignia had changed. There was still the shape of a blue crescent moon in pattern, but with a red magic circle surrounding it.
The sting of the pain was like burning, making the Duke clench his hands again, but the pain was not long.
And before his eyes, Sorrel's wand, which was red with blood, slowly turned jet-black, it now looked like a charcoal tree.
Was that supposed to happen? The Duke nodded with a little worry.
Not only that, Sorrel looked very tired, worse than the first time he did magic on Lui.
The duke was of course happy if Lui could wake up and the others. But now he began to feel the price paid by Sorrel's body was very expensive.
Sorrel's very sad state of the wand is proof of that. The wand looked fragile and useless.
It was only fitting that Dihyan wanted to prevent it earlier.
Duke was beset with guilt, especially when he saw Sorrel who had completed his entire ritual circuit, struggling to manage his breath gasping.
Sorrel smiled as he looked at the Duke.
"Well, I didn't think you were sweeter than I thought. But there's no need to worry about my situation. I'll be fine" Sorrel smiled widely, nodding kindly at Duke.
The Duke frowned uncomfortably. First, because no one ever called it sweet, second, because obviously he was just thinking about all the guilt in his brain.
His jaw still hurt from the ritual, he was lazy to open it to talk.
A second later, he understood.
"You can read minds!" exclaims Duke furious. Now everything becomes clear.
Sorrel had been reading the minds of the people around him, no wonder he always acted as if he knew about everything.
"Ah.. I've never told you? I'm sorry, I must have forgotten" Sorrel said unconvincingly.
"Lied!!" The duke exclaimed in anger.
'Of course you must have intentionally not said it, in order to easily manipulate the conversation', the Duke's inner being exasperatedly.
Sorrel chuckled softly at the words inside the Duke's head. I felt the sympathy that the Duke felt.
He should have realized this sooner. If Oscar, who only had one-third and two Elf blood, could guess when someone was lying, it would make sense that Sorrel could read people's minds.
The duke wanted to pass on his anger, but the corner of his eye caught the faint movement in Lui's hand, and then Lui's moans started to sound.
"Bee...? Can you hear me?" Duke shook slowly Lui's shoulder.
His anger at Sorrel is dead, now Lui is more important.
"Pace?" lui said weakly, but that was enough to make Duke flow a warm sense of happiness.
His big smile immediately fell. Once again, the Duke slammed into Lui's arms.
"You remember everything" the Duke muttered in Lui's ears with great joy and happiness.
Lui's consciousness had returned intact, and Duke's words poked into her feelings painfully.
"Yes, I remember everything Pace, I remember "said Lui regretfully, and without being able to hold back the tears welling up in her eyes.
How could he forget the Duke? This is unbelievable and very terrible, Lui's inner self.
This was why he always felt guilty when with Zeno, his heart belonged to the Duke. And he foolishly tried to accept Zeno there.
This is why everything in Duke's life always feels right. Because all this time he only loved Duke, even though he no longer remembered him.
The Duke released a hug and arranged Lui's position to sit comfortably, Lui's eyes not being able to look at the Duke's face, a rare thing he could do before his memory returned.
Because his wish was defeated by immense shame, but now it was different. He's been fighting that shame for three years. The success rate is not very good, but it is definitely better.
"OH...!!"
The Duke exclaimed in surprise when he finally had the chance to look at Lui's face more closely.
"What's wrong?" Lui asked in surprise, as the Duke looked extremely aghast.
"What are these?" This time it was Oscar who exclaimed in surprise, with his eyes widening as he advanced closer to the bed.
He was standing quietly behind the Duke, waiting for a chance to speak.
Lui began to panic at Oscar's reaction, his hands groping his face, trying to find something odd.
"Not that, but your eyes. The left is blue....." Duke explained slowly.
"Of course it's blue" Lui cut off, not understanding.
"The right one is green" continued Duke. And Lui's eyes were now perfectly widened.
"Green? Like your eyes?" tanya Lui now started to feel her right eye.
"Yes, it's very similar instead" the Duke brought his head closer towards Lui's face, wanting to see more clearly.
And of course Lui blushed. His memories that had already returned, would not help in such a situation. The existence of Duke who is only a few inches from his face will always affect Lui's heart. Maybe until anytime.
The Duke realized that and smiled.
"You're adorable" he whispered as he rubbed his cheeks gently. She could barely hold herself back, wanting to hug Lui once more.
But the sound of an objectionable snort from Oscar made him hold back.
"I apologize for interrupting, but I have to look Lui in the eye".
Sorrel slowly emerged from behind Oscar's shoulder.
"Agh...!" A small screech came out of Lui's mouth looking at Sorrel's miraculous form.
"Wh.. What are you?" tanyanya, after successfully mastering themselves.
Lui tried to sound polite, she wanted to correct her mistake. Screaming when you see someone for the first time is unethical.
"It's 'who' Lui. Not 'what' "Myra smiled as she corrected Lui's question.
"Well, I'm sorry" Lui realized her mistake again and gave a small nod in apology.
"Oh well. don't worry. I would be offended if you weren't surprised to see me" Sorrel chuckled.
The duke took a few steps aside, made room for Sorrel to approach, and checked on Lui.
Lui's eyes could not escape looking at the horn of extraordinary size that was attached to Sorrel's head. The horn was the most interesting thing Lui had ever seen in a lifetime, aside from the form of the Duke wolf.
"Interesting" Sorrel murmured while holding his chin and raising Lui's head.
"Will it be dangerous?" ask Duke.
"Of course not! I tied the spell with your blood, so his eyes turned green like yours. But her elf side remained strong, then one eye remained blue" Sorrel replied deftly.
"I'm very proud of my work" he added without trying to hide a very satisfied tone.
"work result? She's not a craft" Oscar said.
Lui could only look at them alternately with a million questions in her head.
"What's happen?" finally Lui asked, unable to bear the curiosity anymore.
"Oh dear, your question may be short, but the answer to it will be very long" Sorrel said taking his hand off Lui.
"Duke will explain everything to you, therefore for his chivalry, we better get out of here. There are a lot of things they have to talk about and maybe also do other 'other' things besides talk"
Sorrel winks naughty tease Duke.
Without trying to filter it out, the Duke swore loudly inside his head, knowing that Sorrel would hear it clearly.
Duke did not think that way at all, Lui was still very weak.
Sorrel simply laughed out loud as he spread out his hands, as an invitation for all the creatures in the room to follow him.
"Including you Oscar" Sorrel added, looking at Oscar, he certainly heard a voice of objection at the head of the Oscars.
Striking his feet, Oscar finally came out of the room.
"I'm going to have one of the omegas bring some porridge for Lui" Myra said as she walked out. The Duke agreed. Myra was the last one out of the room.
"Will you go?" duke asked as he unfolded Lui's blanket, then grabbed the coat and snowshoes closest to where he was.
He gently helped Lui prepare.
Duke remembers that Sorrel said Lui will be fine in the cold. But he didn't want to take any chances, the temperature is now a few degrees below zero. Not a good time to try out Sorrel's words.
"Where are we going?" ask Lui confused.
"Go back to our house" said the Duke as he lifted his body.
Lui automatically put her hand on the Duke's neck.
"Nice! Now we're going to run" Duke said as he opened the window.
Manor was not a pleasant place to talk to, she remembered very well how the last time she tried to talk to Lui alone was. Duke doesn't want any interference.
Duke will jump off the balcony with a human form, easy job. He just had to make sure Lui stayed safe while doing so.
Duke could have brought Lui in the form of a wolf. But the Duke was unsure of his current condition, Lui would be able to hold tightly on his back. This is more difficult, but safer.
With a deep breath, Duke jumped down from the balcony. His feet landed with a loud debum on the ground, Lui's body only slightly shaking as the Duke received all the blows with his feet.
"You okay?" tanyakanya. Lui shook her head in astonishment, she realized who Duke was, but this was the first time she had seen up close the Duke's power in a human form, after such a long time.
I really married a super creature!! inwardly, while looking at the row of trees that started to blur as the Duke started running at full speed.
