Us 27 - Dinner and Announcement

"It's a pity that we got here at night, when I wanted to enjoy the view of the snow in London" Myra stared dejectedly out the Car window.

"We can enjoy it tomorrow Myra, I'll drive you around" Myra immediately smiled at my words.

"While all this time I thought all the snow was the same everywhere" Duke responded to Myra's words coldly, but I could see a smile on the corner of his lips.

Myra just smiled at Duke's reply and looked out the car window again.

Maybe Duke's a little tense about meeting Oscar. He can be intimidating if he wants to.

I rubbed the ring on my ring finger restlessly. I was thinking of taking it off for a moment, considering what if Oscar saw it, before Duke could say his purpose here.

The ring is very striking because of its beauty. The black diamond is sweetly attached, between a sprinkling of smaller white diamonds around it.

I was completely blind to the price of jewelry, but I could surmise that the ring was worth more than the car we were riding in right now.

Our main goal to London was to meet Oscar and ask him for his blessing, because Duke and I are getting married in less than a week!!

Duke has explained, if he should marry me before his appointment to Alpha.

After hearing everything, I finally accepted this seemingly hasty decision. Because the other option was to let Duke marry another woman before the coronation.

No hell!! I'm not gonna let that happen.

I looked back, where a black car was following us at close range.

"Didn't it be too much to take them to Park Castle?"

For this trip Duke brought El, Farjad, Dey, to the, also Id and Tita-without Roan because he got a assignment from Duke to guard the pack-therefore we needed two cars to transport all the troupe.

"No. You certainly remember what you've been through in London. I don't want it to happen again"

Myra answered my question, while Duke just clenched his mouth tightly.

The Duke disagreed less with the large number of this group, because according to him, he alone would be enough to face an enemy who might try to harm me. But he did not argue Myra's decision.

I wanted to ask, but Oscar came up from the house and approached us. He hugged me tightly.

"Welcome back" he whispered right in my ear. Oscar may have guessed the point of our arrival here, therefore his smile looks heavy.

"It's good to see you again, Myra" Oscar immediately greeted Myra, but passed Duke just like he was invisible.

Ughhhh!!.....The war of nerves has begun apparently.

"Get in-you'll freeze if it lingers outside" Charlie waved inviting us all in.

The only thing that's going to freeze here is me Charlie, my inner self.

All the guests who came would be fine even if they were bare-chested. Well-maybe it wouldn't be okay if the bare-chested ones were Tita and Myra. Because it will be a shocking spectacle.

Eight werewolves stepped in awkwardly while looking around the mansion.

They didn't say much, but their eyes sparkled with excitement. Except maybe Duke, he just walked in as usual without taking his eyes off Oscar's back.

I'm trying to digest if Oscar really gave me the blessing to marry Bee. Smile satisfied with the muscle formed in my lips.

"Remove that stupid smile from your face, before I change my mind!" Shake Oscar up, as we made our way to the dining room.

"No way!!" I won't let anyone ruin this happy moment.

"Of course, I also never categorized my nature as pleasant. And I married Bee because I love her, not because of your charming nature, Big Brother!"

Well-I-I have to call him right, don't I?

"Shut your mouth or I'll actually throw you out!!" He looks really angry. Maybe it's not time I called him brother.

They are both in the handsome level of a playboy who will get a lot of attention.

He was the master of the house at a time like this.

Not even Oscar denied it, he just shrugged then sat down at the end of the dining table. Signifies his position as the host here.

Bee also signaled me to sit down immediately. I once again gave the actor a deadly glance before following Bee to sit down.

From the corner of my eye, I could see her face frowning in dislike, as I saw her sitting next to Bee. With a quick step, he took a seat right in front of Bee, making El who was about to sit on the chair get knocked out.

With no will to resist, El simply shifted and sat down before me.

"Dining was so noisy tonight" Mom whispered so softly in my ear from the chair next door, making sure only I could hear it.

"I don't think some of us know each other yet" Oscar will carry out his duties as a flawless host of course.

He started to introduce us one by one, and we started to greet each other politely.
