"Are you sure you didn't give him the wrong dose?" I asked Alva a tense tone.
In front of me Dr. Sidra was checking Bee's situation closely. He had also already paired a new infusion on Bee's hands. This is Bee's 5th day unconscious. The body's nutrient intake, comes only from that nfus.
We arrived at Blackmoon about two days ago. But Lui was still unconscious until now. It makes me panic.
Dr. Sidra had a lengthy consultation with Alva, before performing treatment on Bee. At first he was a little confused by Bee's unusual state. But after a long explanation from Alva, he became more relaxed.
Bee's condition was no stranger, than the usual wounds suffered by werewolves around here.
"Of course not! Wait patiently, Young Master. You've been waiting for him to wake up for over a year. You should be able to hold back if it's just a few days" snapped Alva, from the other end of the phone.
"Don't scare me like that" My hardik was annoyed.
These few days, I've been unable to sleep peacefully, for fear that Bee will fall into a coma again. There's no need to remind me of that horrible fact in such a cruel way.
"Then stop calling me at midnight, you psycho!!!"
Alva yelled then cut off my phone call just like that.
I forgot about the time difference. If it is late afternoon, then London is midnight. I'll call him back tomorrow.
"I'm done Scion" Dr. Sidra stood straight next to me politely.
I nodded "She's fine right?" askaku while approaching the bed right Bee lying down.
I held her hand that felt warm.
"Of course, this morning I called Dr. Leona to consult. I have given the injection of medicine according to the instructions. We can only wait for Ms. Delmora to be aware" He explained, while smiling amusedly.
Of course he heard my conversation with Alva earlier.
"He'll be fine, Scion" he added sympathetically.
"Yes, thank you Doctor."
"Hmmm, actually I want to thank you" dr. Sidara sounded hesitant.
"You mean?" many wonder.
I don't remember ever doing anything for her. "You forgave my son who was negligent in helping you, and put the candidate Zhena in danger" he explained.
"Who..."
"My son Farjad. Farjad Sidra" obviously cut my question.
"Ohh..." I-i understand.
"I didn't know he was your son Doctor" I'm feeling a little guilty.
"It's okay, Scion. You may not know him. Since he was 13 years old and could control his transformation well, Alpha Owen sent him to a human school" he explained.
I nodded slowly. If father told him to go to an ordinary human school, he must be very talented. Not to mention the matter of being able to control his transformation well at 13 years old, it was incredible!
Roan was still randomly transformed until he was 16, so he was never sent to attend school in the human world like El and I.
I'll remember it, Farjad. As an Alpha I need to know the potential of the flagship werewolf in the pack.
"There's nothing for the doctor to forgive"
Farjad did leave the mansion, but that was not his wish. Dey and Farjad repeatedly apologized because they couldn't help me when I saved Bee.
Especially Dey, he also apologized, for feeling that my dinner with Bee, had become corrupted because of his mistake.
I'm denying both of them apologies. They were innocent, everything that happened that day was my decision and my wish.
But looking at their faces of regret, it made me feel a little better.
Roan made a million taunts at me for the failed shot that hit Egon's head. Of course Dey and Farjad are many times better than him.
"Farjad is a great boy. You don't have to worry" I don't want to make Dr. Sidra was thinking things out, she had to take care of Bee.
"Is he in college?" my many.
"Yes Scion. She spent her second year in medical school" I could see the pride that radiated from her face.
"Good" He'll be the successor to the pack doctor. That's not bad, he must be just as smart as his father.
"I'm sorry Scion"
Dr. Sidra bowed respectfully to me once more, before leaving the room with light steps.
I put Bee in the room I used to live in. This room is slightly larger than the other rooms in Manor, and certainly more comfortable. I'll give you all the best for Bee.
Bee's hands began to jerk slowly. I think he's dreaming again. I held her tight to calm her down. What happened in your dream Bee? I hope you have a good dream.
I rubbed his face again.
I half-dead missed her touch. But I'm not enjoying this. In my thoughts, Bee opened her eyes and smiled. Not lying in silence. Sadness and despair crept back into my heart. I can't stop him.
Tok..tok.tok !!
"Come in"
Roan, El and Mom, they went in.
Mom immediately approached Bee's bed and rubbed her head.
"He looks nervous" he said.
I nodded "Say Alva she's dreaming" I explained.
"She's so pretty, like a baby angel" she once again praised.
His mouth smiled with satisfaction. He fell in love with Bee. once he saw her coming out of the ambulance when we got here.
I don't have to seduce or explain anything, Mom just takes Bee for granted. I even felt my position to be number two after Bee in his eyes.
From yesterday, Mom visited this room, only to ask when Bee was conscious. That's also one of the reasons I call Alva so often. If I allow it, I'm sure Mom will call Alva herself to ask that.
"She's not a baby Mom" I rolled my eyes, heard the adulation.
"Oh Don't be silly, of course she's not, but she's really adorable right?" his sergeant, while looking at Bee with adoring eyes.
"Petit and perfect. I can't wait to see her standing side by side with you, it'll definitely be so adorable"
Her tone will make others think Mom is talking about a 5-month-old baby, not a 23-year-old girl.
"Oh.. They will be amazing. They'll look like the Trolls are hanging out with the tiny fairies" Of course Roan won't miss that gap to mock. Liking me to a troll is an insult.
Mom pinched slowly on Roan's arm, but her mouth was smiling amusedly.
"More like a bear with a koala" El said unexpectedly.
Roan looked surprised, because it was not usual for El to throw jokes.
"Well, I've seen them together so many times" he said, standing clumsily, feeling the look in my eyes.
But I ended up smiling little, they had a point. Our body posture is very different.
Bee's height was only about -- he refused to answer when I asked- 160 cm, whereas I was 194 cm, our bodies looked very contrasting. But a bear with a koala? That's excessive.
"But I agree with you auntie, she's petite and pretty" Roan approached the head of the bed looking as if Bee was a doll on display.
"Stop looking at him like that" I snapped softly. I don't want Bee to be distracted by Roan's loud voice.
"Ehhhh.... " Roan looks at me with annoyed eyes. "She's wasted on you" he concluded, walking away from the bed, then lying on the sofa located in front of a large window.
My eyes were only answered with a lip by her.
"Oh stop you guys!" Mom mediates us.
But this is nothing new for him. The three of us can say we grew up in Manor with him. The quarrel between me and Roan was more frequent than the turn of the day.
Roan lost his mother when he was a child, and the state of the El family is 'unique', making Mom always invite them to Manor.
"They want to take you running in the woods" Mom said, looking at me. "They miss running with you" he added.
" I'm not!" sahut Roan fierce, from the top of the sofa.
"I do" said El flatly, without feeling. I suspect he said it just to be polite.
Mom laughed again at our conversation. "Go, I'll take care of her tonight" Mom walked over and stroked my arm.
I looked at his face with doubt, I don't want to leave Bee.
Mom grabbed my hand and held it tightly, reassuring that Bee would be fine.
I nodded slowly.
"Yes!!!" screeched Roan while running out of my room. His behavior was very incompatible with the words thrown by his spicy mouth.
El smiled broadly while looking at me. "I will wait for you at the edge of the forest" he said as he walked out of the room.
"Your friend is awesome!" mom smiled once more.
"May I ask you something?" ask Mom while looking at me gently. I'm nodding.
"I want to see your serigalam form before you go" he said, rubbing my cheek.
A little surprised, but I'll give it to you. My room is spacious enough to accommodate four werewolves in its wolf form, if without any items of course.
I went to the wall closet, looking for a change of clothes for my pants that would be torn. I usually do it naked. But that's not going to be possible in front of Mom.
I took off the casual t-shirt I was wearing, then came out of the wall closet bare-chested.
"For the love.." I mean slowly.
I was surprised to find a pure white wolf with shiny fur standing in my room. But only for a moment because I knew that form.
That's Mom, she transformed into a wolf. His eyes looked at me sharply as if telling me to hurry.
I understand Mom, my inner self.
I concentrated on calling my wolf. And soon familiar warmth took hold of my body again. After I opened my eyes, my line of eyes was slightly above Mom's. My body size is a little bigger than other werewolves.
Mom snorted softly calling out to me, I turned my head towards her. Mom stepped slowly closer, trying to avoid things.
I also brought myself closer to him.
For a moment we looked at each other. Mom's eyes went down my face slowly. And then he looked down and showed his forehead. I did the same thing, after which Mom touched her forehead gently.
"I love you my son, forever and always"
A soft voice with a sense of a million warmth and love filled my mind. Finally we connected-the thing that used to be half dead I wanted
"I love you too Mom" I replied wholeheartedly.
A million regrets and apologies flooded my mind without me being able to prevent it. Mom headed my head gently to reprimand.
"Don't think of anything like that! I forbid you to think about it" he said with a slight huff.
Sadness and regret will make Roan and El feel it too.
"Think of something happy, and go" Mom told me to get out of this room, to stop the flow of that stifling feeling.
I headed a small button next to the window with my nose. The very wide glass window opened automatically, it was made according to the size of my wolf, so that I could pass through it easily.
The sound caught the attention of the few warriors standing guard, they were running towards me. But when they saw my figure, they immediately lowered their head and retreated back, not daring to look at me.
My bad temper is quite famous here. They don't want to make me angry. I barked slowly, as a sign they could leave.
Afterwards, I ran out the manor through the front gate. I walked down the street behind the pack settlement. There were several groups of citizens gathered, whether chatting or what. The little boys run around them.
Werewolves are actually nocturnal creatures, but due to the need to interact with humans primarily because of work, adult werewolves have adapted, and are accustomed to sleeping at night.
But small werewolves are usually not used to life schedules like humans, no wonder many are still awake.
I walked slowly, not wanting to disturb them.
Bruuk!!!
Something hit my back leg hard. I turned my head and found a little boy with short black hair falling apart near my feet. He looked at me with enlarged eyes.
But from the sparkle in her eyes, I only saw surprise, not fear. I turned and looked at him again. His eyes widened because he saw my form clearly.
"Mada!'s!!' a loud call with a tone of reprimand made him turn his head.
Before long, a woman who looked like a more mature version of the boy, ran up to him.
"Who are you with?" ask her while looking at me. His face immediately turned deathly pale when he recognized me.
"Sc..Scion..!!" screeched with surprise.
"I'm sorry we didn't know you were here" he said, bowing his head.
I-i know him.
She's Lyla, the werewolf Stray who joined Blackmoon about a few months before I left. He is now married and has a child..
Lyla's screeching caught the attention of the citizens who were now starting to come to where I was standing. Some exclaimed in shock when they saw me.
My heart was slightly warm, as most of those who spoke, expressed excitement because I had already returned. While some were just stunned to look at me, with gaping mouth, including the little girl who had hit me.
I pointed the little girl with my nose.
He laughed amusedly, "Your nose is wet!" he said, rubbing his cheeks.
I chuckle at hearing it.
"I'm sorry, Scion!" his mother said with a nervous smile.
I try to look at him kindly. To hint that I didn't mind, and I guess it worked, because a relieved smile was engraved on his face right now.
I have to leave soon, Roan won't like waiting long.
I grinned softly to make them step aside, obediently they paved the way for me. I quickly rushed into the forest.
Roan looked like he wanted to kill me when I arrived. But he didn't waste any time trying. Roan walked behind the tree to transform. As for El, casually undressing in front of me and transforming.
A gray wolf walked up to me from behind a tree. El who had also transformed also walked over to me. I lowered my head, and a soft touch came from two eyebrows gently heading my forehead.
"Welcome back Duke!!" El said with a sigh.
Roan did not say anything, but a burst of excitement filled my head. I don't need to find out where it came from. El was never that enthusiastic.
"Come!!" I ran ahead of them.
The maple and pine-scented forest greeted me and made me nostalgic. I spent my childhood here. Without being able to prevent it, memories alternately filled my mind.
"Oh Stop it! Are you gonna make me remember your entire growth?" Roan was riled by my choice of mind.
"Hey..El doesn't mind" I'm afraid. I could feel El's mind, which was also filled with yearning for this forest.
"Eww... mellow man!!!" Roan complained in annoyance.
He never left the pack. All the memories floating in my mind and El must have bored him.
But I gripped, slowly I turned my mind, on the things around.
I enjoyed how I was exposed to the cold wind, gently sweeping the black feathers all over my body. Cool and very refreshing.
The smell of the native forest also spoiled my nose. The scent of pure nature, not mixed with the usual smell of gasoline and pollution filled the city air.
I miss this forest more than I thought.
We continued to run until we reached a hill just a few kilos from the border. We ran for almost 150 miles.
I stood still on top of the hill, looking loosely at the dark valley full of dense trees in front of me.
Following instinct, I howled loudly towards the night sky.
Roan and El immediately howled in response to my call. Some howls were also heard from the direction of the forest. The werewolf who was in the forest, also answered my call.
I turned around and sat facing Roan and El. They bowed in reverence.
Alpha howls are not Alpha Tones, but instinctively they answer my calls respectfully, as a sign of their obedience as pack members.
I snore sharply, to make the effect of my calling on them fade.
Roan then sat up neatly while looking at me. "Why were you so long ago?" tanyanya was still irritated.
Sure thing!!! Roan would not waste time with obedience, he turned into a rebel in a matter of seconds.
I answered it by showing my memory. About Mom and the little boy who hit me earlier.
"You're very friendly, usually you'll just kick the girl out immediately" Roan said, viciously.
"I'm growing up Roan, you're comparing me to an explosive teenager 8 years ago"
"You're still an explosive Duke" El replied tiredly.
"Yaaa, but by a much reduced amount" I argued.
El just chuckled at my answer. We talked about the past for a while. Which of course, was tinged with the absurd debate of Roan and El.
I smiled inwardly, I missed crazy things like this as well it turned out..
"Stop being mellow!" Roan rebuked me tight. He doesn't want to drown in nostalgia anymore.
"You haven't told me clearly how you can transform again"
I could feel the curiosity of El, then added by Roan who apparently also wanted to know.
"Hmmm... I'm actually not too sure either" I replayed the scene of how I transformed, so that they could see it as well.
"Is your ability to transform back because you want to save Lui?"
Roan examined my memories carefully.
"Maybe" I answered doubtfully. I remembered the events a few minutes earlier to be convincing.
"No" said El suddenly.
He stopped my memory, at the scene when Bee was crying.
"Lui is worried about you, which is why you can transform again" El said in a confident tone.
"Heee..??" Roan exclaimed in disbelief.
"Look, the Duke was feeling unusually happy back then. That worry makes him certain of Lui's love, therefore Duke's wolf is back" El tries to convince Roan.
"That was all just a guess of course" Roan was determined to destroy El's opinion.
They won't budge if it's like this.
But I actually approved El's opinion more, I remember how the warmth ran through my body, when Bee said she was worried I was going to die. My heart immediately felt as light as a feather and comfortable when I heard it.
"That's not true!!" Roan exclaimed furiously. Because I approve of El's thought, even if I don't say it directly.
"We're back!"
I walked down that hill, not paying attention to Roan's protests. All the talk about Bee made me realize, if I had left him long enough.
"Duke!!!!" Roan shouted back.
"You made my mind go blue" Roan jerked his head, trying to shake off the worry that filled my mind.
"Bear with it! And it's not the worst" said El flat, he's used to my constant bouts of feeling.
Usually El will divert his mind, by discussing the latest economic essay he just read.
Today kindly, El shares the topic 'How the increase in the number of immigrants in Canada, has a positive impact on economic development'
Roan complained loudly to hear El's thoughts, he was allergic to everything that smelled of learning.
He began to swear, when El arrived at the percentage share of economic growth over the past five years.
I just smiled amusedly in response to the war going on in my head. Without commenting, I increased the speed. The shrubs and trees that hit my body, will be able to divert my mind from the commotion.
We separated as soon as we reached the residential area. Roan's residence is next to Manor, due to Rex's uncle's position as Gamma.
While El, still living in one of the cottages in the settlement. He was alone in the cabin after his mother died a few years ago, after his stepfather was kicked out of the pack.
I entered the manor from the main door. Mom must have closed my bedroom window by now. I grabbed the pants that were already hanging neatly near the entrance, then stepped into the large room to the right of the entrance.
This room does not have a special interior, because it only serves as a place to release the transformation.
Mom was reading a thick book and sitting next to Bee, when I got to the room. He lifted his head and smiled broadly at me. "You enjoying it?" tanyakanya.
I'm nodding. "Sleep Mom, I'll take care of her" I said.
Mom replied with a nod. She hugged me lightly, then moved out of my room.
I picked up the pillow and blanket, then pulled the sofa closer towards the bed. I slept on the sofa two nights. Mom wanted to give me a new bed, but I refused. I don't want to change the interior of this room.
I checked Bee's infusion, there's still half until tomorrow morning.
Bee's hand jolted again, his breathing also slightly hunting. I was very curious about what he was dreaming about. I lay down next to her while stroking her hand slowly, to calm down.
For a moment, his breathing was back in order. Well, I hope he will keep calm until he realizes later, my mind while yawning wide. ........
---------- *0o0*----------------
I looked around me timidly. To make sure the creature doesn't exist. But I haven't breathed a sigh of relief, heavy footsteps coming back behind me.
My tears are coming back from fear.
I looked desperately at the empty hallway in front of me. There's no one there. What am I supposed to do now?
With the rest of my strength, I dragged my feet, which were no longer helpless, away from the sound of footsteps behind me.
I have to run, I don't want that thing to catch me.
The mute cry had now turned into a sob. What do I have to do to end this? rintihku slowly.
