"Did you make a decision?" daniel asked, sitting next to Fridell who was staring at Lucas' body which was still lying on the bed with a breathing apparatus that was still attached to his body.
It's been almost a month since the operation. However, Lucas has not been aware of himself even though he has gone through a critical period. Fridell plans to bring her son to America, back there to do better treatment.
Fridell did not want Lucas to be in this place anymore, he even wanted all his family to return to America, precisely in New Orleans, the hometown of the father. At least by going back there, Fridell's mind could be a little calmer, because since Lucas lay in a coma, Fridell did not sleep a bit, could not rest properly, nor did he eat, he kept watching over the condition of the prince with his fear, hoping that the prince would come to his senses so that they might be able to argue again all the time. That's what Fridell had in mind every time he looked at the prince's face.
"Father will return to New Orleans with Keano, as well as Darmaya. I want you to come with Daniel, too" said Fridell, staring at the prince expectantly.
"I'm sorry dad, can I think about it first?"
"Yes, I understand, but again I say Daniel. Think about it again," Fridell replied trying to understand Daniel's feelings, perhaps that was all he could do to comfort the current prince.
"I'll take care of everything,"
"Dad believes in you, and I want you to get everything done as quickly as possible."
"Yes" Daniel nodded from his seat, before his footsteps stopped when he saw the figure of Darmaya who was standing at the entrance with a basket of fruit in his arms, also Keano who is also standing next to the nanny.
"Good afternoon, young master, "Sapa Darmaya slightly bowed and Daniel who only gave a small nod with a faint smile on his face before stepping back away, after patting Keano's shoulder slowly as he passed by.
"Pardon me, Mr ...."
Daniel's steps came to a standstill when he heard Keano call him. Reversing his body and staring at Keano who was still standing awkwardly there. In fact, he has felt that since he knew that Daniel was his brother even though they did not have the slightest blood relation.
"What's up, Ken?"
Keano stepped closer to Daniel who was already standing waiting for him, staring at the figure for a moment even desperately wanting to hug. However, in the end. He just stood there without a word, staring and thinking, how lucky he is to have a brother like Daniel.
"When are you gonna look at me like that?" daniel asked, breaking the man's daydream.
"Pardon me. A-I-I. .. just want to say hello to you," Keano replied scratching the nape of his non-itchy neck.
"That's all?"
Daniel tilted his head, watching Keano's behavior that looked funny to him, even the man looked more like a boy now. He missed Lucas again.
"You're not even much different."
"Well?!"
"You and Lucas."
"Ah, that ...."
"alright. I have to go now, I have a lot to prepare, you better go inside and comfort me, "Daniel slapped back on Keano's still-silent shoulder with a happy feeling. " I believe you, Ken."
"Bec-yes ... Brother," nods Keano.
"Thank you, Ken. Because you've been looking after Lucas all this time. Already a good friend to him, while accompanying him, you've been the perfect brother to Lucas."
"You are also the best brother. And, I'm also happy to be able to do the best for young master."
"Are you in trouble?"
"Well?!"
"As long as he's on Lucas' side. I'm sure you've had a lot of trouble. Because I know, Lucas is very stubborn."
"Yes, that's fine."
"However, you're the only one he can trust. I'm sure, if it was you beside him, maybe Lucas would have listened to you, and not seen Tiar Galenka alone," daniel's reply made Keano return silent with regret for not returning home early at that time. "I was even late to save Lucas" he continued with dewy eyes. He misses his sister, misses Lucas' stubbornness, as well as the annoying mannerisms that sometimes make him bleed.
"Young master will be fine. I'm sure he will recover soon" Keano persuaded to try to calm Daniel's feelings that he felt must be not okay at this time, even though he himself was also feeling the same pain.
"Yes. I also hope so," replied Daniel nodded slowly. "alright. I have to go now, come in. Lucas must have missed you so much" he said.
"Yes" nodded Keano back. Looking at Daniel's wide steps until he disappeared from behind the hospital wall.
Tomorrow they will return to New Orleans, just now he felt happy because he found a warm attitude from Daniel. But they have to go back to separate.
Keano again stepped inside Lucas's room, finding the CEO still lying there, darmaya, sitting on a bedside chair, Lucas and Fridell, sitting on a sofa, watched the two.
"Great master," said Keano slightly bowing before the great Lord who was none other than his own foster father.
"Sit down" replied Fridell. "How are you feeling, Ken? You know, right? If we're moving to New Orleans?" fridell asked to open the conversation, even Darmaya could hear their conversation, although she did not join him there, she still wanted to accompany Lucas longer on the side of the bed.
"Yes, sir."
"Are you gonna be okay with that?"
"certain. During his time at the side of the young Master and Aunt May," Keano nodded, turning his gaze towards Darmaya who immediately greeted him with a smile, before looking back at Fridell's face which also appeared to be a small nod.
"Goodoo. Lucas must be so happy, you're here now."
"But, the great sir ...."
Keano's sentence was stuck in the throat.
"Yes. What's up, Ken?"
"Pardon me. There's something I want to ask."
"Please."
"What Mr. Daniel ...."
"He's your brother, Ken," between not wanting to limit Keano's communication with Daniel.
"Yes, Sir. I mean, Brother Daniel. Is he not going with us?"
"Not for now. Daniel still has a lot of business here."
"Ah, yeah." Keano seemed to nod.
"What's wrong? You seem restless," Fridell guessed when she found Keano who had looked agitated since then.
"It's okay, sir."
"Have you prepared all Lucas' needs, Darmaya?" tanya Fridell turned her gaze towards the woman.
"Yes, Sir. I've prepared everything."
"alright. Looks like we're just leaving" said Fridell. "I'll be out for a while, visiting the tomb of Davanka and also your mother" he said, turning his gaze toward Keano.
