I'm Not a High School Boy
CHAPTER 16: Puzzle Pieces of the Bharatajaya Family

Gisel awakens with a faint memory of last night's dream. She remembers she was talking to someone, but she doesn't remember who, how she looked, and what they were talking about. Gisel just remembered something they were talking about was important.

All morning he tried to remember it, but all he remembered was the long black hair of a girl waving in the breeze.

"Yes, are you sick?" Tika asked with a worried look. Gisel's mind finally returned to its place as Tika called out to him.

Tika had asked him many times because she saw him always pensive. Tika thinks she is sick. But actually not.

Let alone Tika, even Rey also asked the same thing this morning when Gisel looked unfocused.

"I'm okay. I just ..."

Tika suddenly remembered something. He instantly cut off Gisel's conversation. "Do you still think about Rafael breng sek who hurt you yesterday?"

"What's? Wh who? Rafael bothers you? She went home? You diapain?" Adit, who heard Tika's words, immediately asked.

"Tante Lia last night called papa. He told me everything. Papa said Rafael almost harassed Aya, "tika's story.

BRAK!!

"What's he doing?!"

Adit looks very angry. His clenched hand had just hit his desk making everyone in the class look at him.

"Can't we do something to overcome this?" asked Adit growled.

"Tante Clara always said she was just a guest. So Papa can not forbid him to come back," explained Tika who further added to Adit's anger when she heard it.

"But you don't worry, Aya. If papa can't handle this, I'll beat him myself up" Tika exclaimed.

"Yes! Me too!" said Adit.

Gisel just silently looked at the two friends of Kanaya who were fiery burning their anger. He doubted they could handle Rafael that way.

"What can a high school boy do to a Rafael like that?" thought Gisel.

As time went on and he was busy at school, Gisel finally no longer thought about his dream. Especially, when he received a message from Satrio.

"Om will pick you up later in the afternoon after school. Is there time?"

Gisel replied, "Okay, Om. Just get a little far from school. So that no one will suspect."

And because of that, Gisel walked some distance after getting out of school. While constantly on the lookout for people he might know, Gisel continued walking towards the black car that was already waiting for him at the end of the road. Gisel also looked at Rendi who was standing waiting for him beside the car.

From a distance, Rey who recognized Satrio's car was asking herself.

"Well, do you know Mr Satrio? Where are they going?"

While from a different place, Adit who had just seen his papa ride into a car that he did not recognize along with Kanaya, also had almost the same question.

"Kanaya? Papa's? Where are they going?"

......................

As it turned out, Satrio took Gisel to the office to address some of the problems in the project and also signed some important documents.

"If this document is not signed for too long, they will think all the rumors are true. Even though this isn't you completely, at least you still remember your signature, right? God still wants to save us."

And Gisel agrees with that. Of course he still remembered his own signature. But he disagreed with Satrio about God. He was still angry at God for giving him this strange life.

Satrio and Rendi's next conversation was about small issues that usually occur in the project. The things that only Gisel could decide, could now be resumed.

All that talk made Gisel's spirit reappear. This was what Gisel had wanted to do since he woke up to become Kanaya.

"Regarding the information of the Bharatajaya family, Om has sent the file. And this is the equipment you asked for yesterday" Satrio said, handing over a small cardboard box.

Gisel received the small box and peeked at it for a while. He smiled for a while before he closed the box.

"As far as I know about Clara, she seemed to love Kanaya very much. But, it is very different if Adit tells the story. He said Clara and Nabila tortured Kanaya more often," said Rendi who also commented.

"Did they torture you often?" asked Satrio anxiously.

"They wouldn't dare."

Satrio also reported information about Rafael. Who would have thought, it turned out that he was a lawyer.

"Rafael Diandra, lawyer, 35 years old. Seems to have known Clara for the last 5 years. He helped Clara a lot to take care of various problems. Last time, a few months ago, it seemed like Farhan's company problem."

"They seem to have more to do with it than that" said Gisel, who was seen frowning. He has unexplained suspicions about Clara and Rafael.

"What Om knows, Rafael is not a good lawyer. He gets in trouble often. Recently, sexual harassment of a barmaid while she was drunk. What is still in the legal process is the case of beating a private employee. His motorcycle hit Rafael's car. But, it looks like this case was left floating around just like that."

Their subsequent talks led to a will Farhan made before dying. The will that gave up all his property was to Kanaya, and split a little part for Clara, Nabila, and Adrian.

In the letter, as long as Kanaya has not reached the age of 18, the company will be overseen by Farhan's confidants. And any decisions concerning the company must get Kanaya's approval. For daily needs, each of the heirs gets a ration each month.

"How do you know about this?" asked Gisel.

"Yes. All were read by Bagas as he read the will in front of all the heirs" Satrio replied.

"Bagas how? Is he trustworthy?"

"He was Farhan's best friend since they were in school. They've been close for a long time. He believed Farhan to be a lawyer for many years. If he wasn't a lawyer, maybe he'd be his confidant in the company" Satrio replied.

"But, maybe it's better. As a lawyer, Bagas has often helped protect Kanaya from Clara. He also several times thwarted Clara's efforts to take over the company's assets," said Rendi, who added.

Satrio added an important point in the will. Clara was obliged to take care of Kanaya until she was 18. As long as nothing happens to Kanaya. If Kanaya is injured or the most severely injured dies from an unnatural cause, such as an accident, poisoning, or being killed, then automatically all the inheritance is given to Clara, Nabila, who is not the one who has been killed, and Adrian will be canceled. They won't get anything.

"Has a matter of fact, they look scared whenever I whine in pain" Gisel said remembering the first time he pranked Clara.

"But, isn't that a pretty weird clause for a will?" asked Rendi.

"Hhmm .. I don't think so. This meant that Farhan knew something that Clara could be very dangerous to Kanaya, but he could not keep her away from Kanaya. Therefore he made this will to protect Kanaya," Satrio explained.

Gisel understood Satrio's intentions. But he doesn't understand what makes Farhan unable to keep Clara from Kanaya's life. What makes Clara so powerful?

"The will of Emma!" exclaimed Gisel.

"Emma?"

"Mama Kanaya. Dahlia, her sister, says that she has trouble getting custody of Kanaya because of Emma's will. Can you find out about that?" asked Gisel.

"alright. Om gonna find out about this."

Tok, tok, tok ...

When the door of the meeting room was knocked down, everything became silent. Gisel no longer continued his conversation.

"Sorry, Mr. Satrio. Drink later. Hehe ..."

Gisel immediately sighed as soon as he saw his secretary, Risa. The secretary he has worked with for a long time is a secretary he trusts a lot, although his appearance and behavior will upset him every day.

Gisel chose silence as long as Risa gave her report to Satrio. That's what he usually does every day if Gisel isn't in place. Satrio is the one who will help deliver Risa's message to Gisel.

Just as Risa placed the drink glass in front of her, Risa looked at herself.

"Lho, Miss Gisella turned out to be here. Know that I was reporting the same mother."

DEG!

Gisel was surprised as Risa looked at him and said that.

"W-You're seeing it wrong, huh? That's not Miss Gisella. He's Mr. Satrio's niece," said Rendi who also seemed to be surprised by Risa's words.

"Eh? Cook it?"

Risa looked at him again. He drew closer to Gisel until Gisel grew nervous and uncomfortable.

"What do you see, Risa?" asked Satrio calmly.

"Mr Gisella, sir. But ... How is his face different?"

Gisel who had been feeling uneasy because Risa was getting closer, now he just looked at Risa without any expression.

"How does he know?" thought Gisel.
