I'm Not a High School Boy
CHAPTER 17: The Hidden Meaning of Rey

"What makes you so sure that I'm Gisella?" asked Risa. Gisel's sharp gaze that led to Risa's two eyes did not make Gisel's secretary afraid in the slightest.

Of course, Risa had been working for Gisel for many years. Although Gisel often scolded her, Risa never felt afraid. Maybe he was used to that look.

"Hehe .. only Mom looks at me like that" she replied embarrassedly.

Risa begins to distance herself from Gisel. He seemed to know that Gisel was starting to get uncomfortable with their proximity.

"Just ..."

Risa watched Gisel return with her strange gaze. Gisel also could not understand the meaning of that gaze of his.

"... There is one more person inside there ...," Risa said as she pointed at the center of her chest. Risa looked at him in wonder. He seemed to be at a loss explaining what he was looking at right now.

"What did that man do, Risa?" asked Gisel.

"... Sleep, Mom ..."

Gisel knew what Risa meant, but not Satrio and Rendi. Therefore, they look surprised to hear Risa's words.

If Risa saw someone inside her body, it meant that her conjecture had been right all along. But the question ...

"How can you see all that, Risa?" asked Gisel.

Risa flinched in shock. Like someone who just got caught making a mistake. He's getting nervous.

"S-I .. t-don't know ... Ma'am," she answered.

It was not the first time Risa had acted like this. Gisel knew sometimes he had strange answers that Gisel could not think with his logic. But, for the first time, Gisel believed his words. Because what Risa said this time could almost explain the oddity that Gisel was experiencing at this time.

"Ah, m-excuse me .. I'm wrong people. I guess Miss Gisella," said Risa again. This time he bowed his body apologizing. Then, Risa immediately begs to leave the room. Gisel was even more surprised by Risa's change in attitude. Satrio and Rendi.

Satrio almost pulled it back, but it just slipped out of his hand. Risa also managed to get out of there.

"Do I need to call back?," asked Rendi who looked still surprised by everything Risa said earlier.

"No need, sir. Leave it alone ...," replied Gisel. "Someday, we'll talk. But not now."

"Do you believe it?" asked Satrio. He knew Gisel had always been upset if Risa was going along like that. But this time Gisel was not even angry.

"Part of what he's talking about explains my current condition" Gisel replied. His gaze was blankly staring at the table that was in front of him.

"Which one? Is anyone sleeping?" asked Satrio again.

"All I know is that Kanaya's memory is still in here" Gisel said. He stared straight at Satrio. But his hand pointed at his head.

"Some times I dream of an event that I have never experienced before. Then I woke up crying. If it's not Kanaya, then who?"

Satrio and Rendi were again surprised by that fact. They probably wouldn't have expected to hear such an absurd thing today.

"J-so, you don't want to ask Risa anymore?" asked Satrio. He chose to believe for the moment. If he himself saw Gisel in the body of a foreign girl, such a thing should also have happened.

"Not now, Om. Someday, for sure. It's afternoon now. I just wanted to go to a group task. I'm afraid Clara and Nabila will go crazy if I don't go home."

Gisel just didn't want Clara and Nabila to look for trouble with him at the moment just because he came home late. At least not for now, a time when he doesn't know much about the Kanaya family.

"Okay, Om will find out everything you asked for. Now I'll take you home."

......................

A long and quite long journey, Gisel again arrived at his house almost at night. Satrio also dropped it off a bit away from Kanaya's house as Gisel requested. The rest of the journey he walked.

"Rey? He knows Kanaya's house too? Or does he have acquaintances around here?" thought Gisel.

But, finally Gisel's question was answered, as Rey stood upright when she saw Gisel walking towards her.

"Good afternoon, sir. T-want to a friend's house, sir?," said Gisel in pleasantries.

"You just got home at this hour?" asked Rey, but Gisel did not feel any anger at the tone of his question.

"S-I'm new ..."

"You know Mr Satrio?" asked Rey without waiting for Gisel to finish his sentence, as if he knew that Gisel would lie to her.

"Did he see me just now?" thought Gisel.

"I saw you get into Mr. Satrio's car. You know each other?" asked Rey again.

Gisel doesn't know what to say to Rey. He still did not want to tell her the truth about what happened to him.

"not now. Not before I know what Rey wants from Kanaya" she thought.

"S-me .. know Mr. Satrio from the late papa. Yep! That's her! From the deceased papa!," exclaimed Gisel. Out of nowhere it came from, all of a sudden that reason just popped up in his head.

"I happened to pass by, and Mr. Satrio just invited him to lunch. It's a lore."

And Rey seems to believe it. He no longer asked after that.

"I just want to say, you can call me if you have any problems, Kanaya. I'll help you. At least, don't save yourself your troubles."

Rey said that with a worried look. He even gave Gisel a piece of paper that when opened turned out to be his personal mobile number.

"What'sthis? That close?" thought Gisel.

After Rey said that, now the man is ready on a sport bike that Gisel knows is his favorite. Gisel is even more shocked when he realizes that Rey met him just to say that.

His enormous curiosity made Gisel's head feel filled with many questions. And for some reason, his chest now felt cramped and full. He kept staring at Rey with the questions in his head.

It's not the first time she's seen Rey like that, but her treatment of Kanaya feels very different from all her female friends. Is that really so? Or does Gisel not know everything?

"Why do you want to help me?" asked Gisel suddenly as he sank deeply among the questions in his head.

Rey smiled gently as she looked at the figure of Kanaya who was before her. "Because I know you will definitely need it" he said.

After Rey said that, he drove up his sport bike and left just like that leaving Gisel who was standing glued because of Rey's remark.

"What kind of reason is that?" he said grumpily. "Hubliness! Always make people misunderstand!"

Gisel even vented his anger by kicking his feet into the air.

"Kanaya is 15 years old, pedo fil!," he shouted.

His shout was able to bring out his annoyance at Rey. But his breath was now becoming breathless. He was really upset about it.

"Look for me to stick his head with a big rock" he said.

After catching his breath again, he turned towards Kanaya's house. There, it turned out that Aunt Lia was waiting for him.

"Aunt will be back tomorrow. Aunty just got word, aunt's husband's sick."
