CHAPTER 4: In A Stranger Body

Gisel looked at the number that emerged from the elevator screen he was riding on at the moment with Adit. "4, 5, 6 .. gosh, long time 10th floor," he said in his heart.

Currently, Gisel and Adit are heading to where Gisel's body is being treated. As soon as Adit said that he was being treated in the same hospital as Kanaya, Gisel immediately asked Adit to drive him to the place, and left Tika in his nursery.

During the elevator that they were riding it brought itself to the top, in his head came new questions. Why did this happen? What really happened to him and Kanaya? Is it possible that Kanaya's soul is now in Gisel's body just like her current self?

Just as the elevator stopped moving, Gisel's mind came to a halt. Especially when he saw two of his guards standing in front of the passageway. He forgot, he was going to visit the CEO of Skylar Corp. How can the place be treated freely entered by just anyone?

"Where are you going? It's not a public place" said a bodyguard blocking them from going further than the elevator they had just been on.

Gisel looks at Adit who also looks nervous because he does not know what to say. Soon Gisel pulled him away from the guards.

"Adit, can you contact your father? Ask him to come get you" whispered Gisel. Adit immediately took the phone out of his pants pocket, then did as Gisel asked.

Shortly after, from the end of the passage, Gisel saw the figure of Pak Rendi running towards them. As soon as he arrived, Mr. Rendi immediately dragged Adit to a place a little far from the guards.

"What are you doing here? Didn't you say you wanted to see Kanaya? Why was Kanaya even brought here?" said Mr. Rendi half-whispering.

"Annu, Pa ... Aya asked to come here," said Adit panicked.

Mr. Rendi looked at Gisel with a look of astonishment. But, before Mr. Rendi asked, Gisel immediately begged him.

"I'm asking for help, sir. I want to see Gisel," pinta Gisel weld.

"You know Miss Gisella?" asked the astonished Mr. Rendi as his son's friend pleaded with him.

"S-I .. I, I idolize it. I promise I won't make a fuss. I just want to see it" exclaimed Gisel reasoned.

Gisel didn't expect him to say it. It would be very strange if they knew the real Kanaya was Gisel. He felt amused as he imagined himself in his own body and said that he idolized himself.

Mr. Rendi looks to be struggling in his heart. Gisel knew it would be very difficult to let a stranger inside. But, at this time he really hopes that there is a miracle that makes the two bodyguards let Mr. Rendi bring himself and Adit go inside.

"I'll try. But ... I do not promise, yes," said Mr. Rendi.

Mr. Rendi walked over to the two guards. Gisel looked at Mr. Rendi who was talking to them anxiously. I don't know what they're talking about. Every now and then they looked towards Gisel and Adit standing up. After a while, Mr. Rendi waved his hand calling Adit and also Gisel. In that instant, Gisel breathed a sigh of relief.

"I forgive you this time," said Gisel in his heart, condemning the guards.

If Gisel had not been in Kanaya's body, he would have scolded them. Gisel was already unwilling to think about what reason Mr. Rendi was wearing, the important thing was that he could enter at this moment.

Gisel took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly as he was about to enter a VVIP nursery following Adit and also Pak Rendi who had already entered first. He prepared his heart to meet his own body.

His body lay weakly on the bed with many tools connected to his body. The sound coming out of the device gives Gisel a pretty clear picture that his body is currently not okay.

"Bu Gisella is currently in a coma due to the accident. Only certain people know about this. Therefore, security has been tight lately. Papa said you were acquaintances of Ms. Gisella. So you're allowed in. But, do not be long, because if it is discovered, later papa will be scolded," explained Mr. Rendi.

Of course, this must be kept secret, or there will be commotion among the shareholders. They will consider Gisel incompetent again. If until Gisel is replaced, the new city development project will be threatened with delays and severe losses. It's going to be catastrophic for Skylar.

After a while there, Gisel finally invites Adit to return. Along his way back, his head kept being forced to think.

"How did this happen? Is this what the name is changing bodies like those in the movies? If my soul is in Kanaya's body, then where is Kanaya's soul? Why is my body still in a coma?" thought Gisel over and over again. The harder he thought, the more he could not find a clear reason why his body was in a coma, whereas Kanaya was not?

The ringing sounded again in his ears. Gisel felt yet another tremendous pain all over his head. His power was like being sucked in and then exhausted. Gisel became limp and could no longer walk.

"Yes! What was? What are you?" asked Adit, who panicked to see his best friend fall and sit on the floor of the hallway leading to the nursery.

But Gisel could not answer anything. His head hurt too much to make the noise he heard get louder.

The longer, the more people came to him. And the longer, he was no longer able to hold it. Gisel finally closed his eyes and was unconscious.

Once again, Gisel seemed to be taken to a place he did not know. This time he was standing behind the door, peeking at two women he just met yesterday, Clara and Nabila. They were talking together in a room that looked like a kitchen.

"Listen, Nabila. Be a good boy so he can love you, even if necessary make him love you more than his own son" says Clara.

"I'm bored, Ma. He always set me up. Who is he? My father is not either. He's just my stepdad. And I will never acknowledge him as my father" said Nabila, who grumbled.

"Patience, Nabila. We just need his wealth. Once we've taken everything, then we don't need it anymore. After that, it's up to you. But now, be patient! Don't make my efforts all this time go to waste" persuaded Clara.

Gisel woke up from his bed. Like the previous dream, his body was thrown down to make him wake up. This time Gisel was sure that what he saw just now was not a dream.

"Yes, are you okay? Why are you crying? Is anyone sick?," asked Adit who suddenly appeared before him.

Gisel rubbed his face with his palm. He saw, his hands were wet after he rubbed his face.

"Crying again? Why am I crying? I'm not sad?" Inner Gisel.

"What makes me cry? That dream? No, it wasn't a dream. They're memories. Wait ... if I cry because of that memory, then .. Canaya's soul is still in here? Is that possible? In one body are two souls?"
