CHAPTER 3: Finding Facts about Gisel

"Yepinyaaaaa ...."

The door to Gisel's room was suddenly opened by a young girl. Gisel reflexively wiped away her tears. Before Gisel could identify who the girl who had just made her heart jump out due to her overly dramatic scream, the girl had already hugged her tightly and cried.

"Ayyyaaaaaa ... Why did you start? Why did you fall into the pool? When your story fell, I was immediately hysterical. I thought you were drowning" the girl cried.

Gisel tried his hardest to escape the girl's embrace. He hates being hugged by people he doesn't recognize.

"You ... who?" said Gisel, releasing the hook of the girl's hand that was twisting her neck.

Gisel managed to make the girl release her embrace from her body. But now the girl looked at herself with a gaze that Gisel did not understand. The girl's tears still filled her eyes.

"Acityaaaaaa ...." The girl hugged Gisel. This time it was much tighter than before. Gisel's attempt to rid himself of the girl must start again from scratch.

"... How could you forget me? I am your best friend, beautiful and adorable. You may forget me, Ayyyaaa ...."

"Tika, let Aya go first. He's having a hard time breathing like that."

Bagas had just entered with a food flask in his hand. Apparently, the girl in front of him is Tika, her son Bagas, who she told me about last night.

"But, pa ...," isak Tika. Gisel was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief as Tika finally let go of her deadly embrace.

"Don't be in a hurry, honey. It takes time to recover. The doctor said it might have been a traumatic effect because his head was hit," Bagas explained gently. There is clearly a difference between father and son. One looked calm, while the other looked like the queen of drama. Gisel was sure he would not be able to put up with that drama queen.

"It happened yesterday. He's fine now. It's just ..." Bagas then pulled the young man out of Gisel's room. It seems like he will explain a lot to her.

"Great editor! I said it 30 minutes ago. And now she's here" said Tika, looking at her papa carrying the young man she called Adit.

Then, with a sudden movement, Tika turned her head towards Gisel. He held Gisel's face with both palms. With that look of hers that looked so serious, Tika said, "Listen, Aya. I don't care if you don't remember anything else. But me? I won't let you forget me. Because I'm Tika, your best friend. I was with you before you were even born. So, get ready, I'll make you remember me again."

Gisel did not understand all of Tika's words. But, whatever the form, he felt he had to have a bad day after this. Sternly, Gisel gulped his saliva imagining himself being trapped with the human that was in front of him at this moment.

"Don't do it, Tika," Adit said as he removed Tika's hand from Gisel's face. "I am also .. the person closest to him. He'll remember us."

Gently, Adit's hand stroked Gisel's hair. "Slow down, yeah. Most importantly, you are okay now. I was almost scared when she said you drowned. I thought you were ..."

"Hehe .. sorry," Tika said with her innocent look. "I heard it from Papa, too. It was wrong time."

As for Bagas, Gisel was accompanied by two men who looked very young to Gisel. I don't know how old they are. Gisel estimated their age at about a dozen years.

Gisel thought back to the dream he had just seen before they came. He did not dare to say if it was a dream. Because everything looks so real.

"Does the dream seem so clear? But why can I see it? Obviously I've never experienced that. Or maybe .. That's Kanaya's memory."

"If it's Kanaya's memory, it means .. the events in the pool are true. This kid fell into the pool."

Gisel was still trying to rearrange the messy puzzle pieces inside his head.

"Okay .. Now I know that I'm Kanaya. But who is Gisel? Why do I keep remembering I'm Gisel?"

"Wait .. did I move to another dimension like the one in those movies? My name is Kanaya in this dimension."

Suddenly, Gisel sees Tika holding her phone. It was like he had something in his head. "Borrow your HP" said Gisel.

Tika does not seem to understand the purpose of his best friend borrowed his cellphone. But still the girl gave her cell phone.

Soon Gisel opens the search app, and then types his name there. And within seconds, all the searches regarding his name appeared on the phone's screen.

"There! It turned out to be still one dimensional!," said Gisel in his heart who felt relieved now. At least there were still recognizable people in this dimension, he thought.

"What are you looking for?" asked Tika who was surprised by what her best friend was doing with her cell phone.

"Gisella Mathilda Hadiwijaya? Oh, the businessman who just had the accident?" exclaimed Tika.

"Accident?" asked Gisel.

"Yes. All the news is talking about him. I got bored. As soon as it is reported continuously," said Tika annoyed.

"Of course it will be a concern. Skylar Corp is the only national company to have signed a new city-building cooperation contract on a British-owned island. Gisella is its CEO, and this accident is feared to hinder its construction."

Gisel was so happy that he nodded his head repeatedly, it was unexpected that anyone recognized him.

"Where do you know?" asked Tika.

Adit suddenly became embarrassed. "The one who designed the B-2 city was my father."

"D-2? You ... Mr. Rendi's son??," said Gisel who almost sounded like a shout.

"You remember my father? You've met him."

Gisel could not answer that question. He only remembered Rendi as the division head for the construction of the B-2 area. How could he explain it? So Gisel chose to be quiet.

"OK, okay. Slowly. Maybe you're still surprised. Don't be forced," said Adit trying to calm down Gisel who was seen by him rather nervously.

Gisel returns to find news of his accident. He hopes to find a place to treat him. But no media has written the name of the hospital.

"Did your father mention where Gisella was treated?" asked Gisel. According to Gisel, Rendi should have known where she was being cared for, as she was one of the division heads.

"Papa must have called him to discuss the issue of continued development" Gisel thought.

"In this hospital. I was here to go with my father" replied Adit.
