I'm Not a High School Boy

I'm Not a High School Boy
CHAPTER 7: Old Friends, New Enemies

Two days at home, just eating, sleeping, and playing, really made Gisel die of boredom. He, who was trying to find a reason to delay school, now has no other reason than to return to school.

But, what choice does he have now? As long as he delays, he still has to go back to school. Because Kanaya's body is that of a 15-year-old.

The problem was that Gisel thought of many things in his head as he imagined himself going to school.

"How do you get along in this era???"

"What if I look like the dumbest kid??"

"Mathematics ... Chemistry ... Physics ... Sociology ...? NOOO!!"

Gisel's gontai steps down from the car that drove him to start his day entering the school gate. Nabila who also left with him had already walked in front of him and left him.

"Amoru ..."

"No ...," exclaimed Gisel. She suddenly got worse when she heard Tika's voice calling from a distance.

"You why? How lemes? You haven't had breakfast? Or still sick, huh?" asked Tika as she reached out her hand touching Gisel's forehead to check her temperature.

"It doesn't seem ...," Tika said again without waiting for Gisel to answer all her questions.

He then pulled Gisel's arm. "Come, hunt to class ... I took you to class, you must have forgotten, right?"

Gisel followed Tika's invitation without any chance of being able to resist.

"Class X-2" said Gisel, reading a classroom signboard installed above his classroom door.

In that room there were already many children who had come. There were some children who saw him say hello. Some are just busy with their chats or work.

"Well, your desk is here" Tika said, pointing out one of the chairs in the middle of the room. Then, after that, Tika placed her bag on the chair beside her.

Unintentionally, Gisel sees Adit chatting with his friend. When Adit saw him, he waved his hand.

Gisel doesn't know what to do. All he did was sit on that chair and start looking around at the circumstances around him.

Although he was currently in the body of a teenage boy, but his mind was the mind of the old Gisel. He doesn't understand what they're talking about.

"Please, save me ...," her inner self.

Before long, the bell sounded quite loud. All the children in the room who had been swarming with friends, now began to sit in their respective places.

Adit suddenly patted her shoulder slowly. "If you're not feeling well, say yes. Let's rest in the UKS alone" he said, then sit in the chair next to Tika.

Shortly after, a tall man passed through the classroom door. "Good morning, kids," she answered everyone in the class.

Within seconds, Gisel stood up. The sound of the chair shifting broke the silence of the class and caused everyone to draw attention to Gisel.

"You!! Rey!! ... What are you doing here?," exclaimed Gisel as he pointed at the man with his index finger.

The whole class started whispering about Kanaya which they saw was currently pointing at their teacher.

Rey, the man, looked straight at Gisel.

"Yes, Kanaya," Rey replied. "I'm Reynard, your homeroom teacher. Don't forget to call me Mr. Reynard, because I'm your teacher."

Gisel suddenly remembered, he was Kanaya. But, seeing Reynard being the teacher, it was more shocking to her that she forgot all about Kanaya.

Rey has been her best friend since she was in high school. And all he knows is that Rey is not a teacher. He is leading his father's company. But why is Rey here? What the hell is he doing here?

Gisel immediately sat on his chair without asking much more, although the look on his face still showed confusion.

"Yes! What are you?" whispered Tika loudly beside her.

But Gisel did not answer. He kept looking at Rey who had started the class that day. He didn't listen to anything Rey said either. He was just wondering, what is Rey doing in this school?

"Kanaya, come with me to the teacher's room now," Rey's orders were clearly heard by Gisel at the end of the lesson.

Gisel stood up and followed Rey with heavy strides. He also paid no attention to Tika and Adit's worried gazes.

"He will definitely scold me," Gisel's inner.

He and Rey have been friends for a long time. They even studied abroad together. After college they still meet although not often. But, Rey is the one who helps Gisel the most in any case including work issues.

Because of their long friendship, Rey always takes care of him. Gisel doesn't know if all of Rey's concerns are because they're best friends or because of her dead sister's memories. He did not dare to ask either. In the end all he does is continue to be Rey's best friend until the end of time that Gisel does not know when.

And, of course scolded Rey it's not the first thing. But, to Gisel, every time the man scolded her, Gisel could only shut up and not dare to say anything.

"You okay? Are you so healthy that you're back at school today?" asked Rey when they were in the classroom.

"Eh ..." Gisel was surprised because it turned out that everything was not as he thought.

"You still sick?" asked Rey again.

"I, I'm fine. Just startled," Gisel replied briefly covering up his nervousness.

"I have the report. Said you had amnesia, huh? Don't be too forced. If you feel unwell, just rest in the UKS. Regarding your classmates, they already know about the amnesia you are experiencing. So, I've warned them not to force you, and to behave as usual."

Gisel was absolutely certain that this man before him was Reynard Hardiyanto. Because only Rey can do that to someone.

"Thank you, sir. For his attention" replied Gisel.

Gisel is finally welcome back to class for his next lesson, after Rey finishes telling him this. After pleading, he walked out of the room.

Gisel was walking across the school field to get back to his class. Suddenly something hit him.

Splash...!

As soon as the thing that Gisel did not know about his body, instantly his school uniform became soaked. Gisel looked at his body with a feeling of anger. He saw a tear of material like yellow rubber.

"Ballon?" asked Gisel.

He immediately turned his head up to look for the perpetrator who did this to him. Because he felt someone throw him from above. But, from the 4 floors he had traced from below, there was no visible movement.

"What's wrong? Why are you soaking wet?"

It turned out that Rey came to approach after seeing the figure of Kanaya standing in the middle of the field with such conditions.

Gisel only gave the balloon piece that had been left on his shirt. His eyes still continued down the school balcony with a look of anger.

Soon, Tika and Adit come asking the same question as Rey. Tika who was wearing a jacket directly put it on Gisel.

"Dit, you anterin Aya to the UKS first. I went back to class to get my change uniform," Tika orders Adit to do.

At that time, Gisel knew one thing that turned out Kanaya's school life was not as beautiful as his high school days. There are people who don't like it. And Gisel decided to arrest the man. "Just wait for you" Gisel growled in his heart.
