I'm Not a High School Boy
CHAPTER 60: Finding the Way Home, Without Rey

"You have to go back and pay your debts to me, Kanaya," Reina said, showing her mischievous smile.

"You have to live and live your life. You have to come back and help me finish my dreams."

Reina then whispered something in Kanaya's ear. A few seconds later, Kanaya laughs with Reina.

Gisel who was just a spectator inevitably had to become suspicious at the sight of the two of them.

"What are you talking about?" asked Gisel.

"Consecret! Hihi ..."

The two answered and laughed almost simultaneously. Gisel took a slow breath. He played his lips as he thought about what they were planning.

But then ... DEG!

Gisel felt something that caused his chest to feel a great thump. Not only Gisel, Kanaya seemed to feel the same way. He saw Kanaya holding his chest.

"You feel it too?," asked Gisel who Kanaya answered with a nod of her head.

"I think it's our sign to return" said Gisel. He looked at the blue sky above his head.

"You must return to the door of life. That's where you came from, and that's where you should go back," Reina said pointing to the door that looked very far from where they stood.

"Come, I'll take you. Kanaya, hold on to Kak Gigi" said Reina as she pulled Gisel's hand. While Kanaya held the other hand of Gisel. Together they ran towards the door Reina had just pointed at.

Kanaya had already entered after Reina asked her to leave. Afterwards, Reina asks Gisel to follow Kanaya. But, Gisel's steps suddenly came to a halt.

Still clutching Reina's fingers, Gisel called out her name, "Reina ..."

Reina seemed to know what Gisel was going to tell her. He stopped Gisel from saying it. "No, Brother. No ..."

Reina's smile looked like a source of water in the middle of the flower fields that surrounded them. Amidst Gisel's guilt of having to go back without Reina, seeing that smile felt like it was easing the bitter taste in her heart.

Although it did not completely eliminate her guilt, but seeing her smile, Gisel seemed to understand the intent Reina wanted to convey to her.

"Sir Rey always says she's ..."

"I know, Reina. Rey had said it," said Gisel stopping Reina's sentence.

"Really?," asked Reina who was surprised to hear him. "Seriously, Brother? Did Rey say that?"

Gisel smiled shyly while nodding his head. "Hmm ... in the same way ..."

"Reina knows ...," cut Reina. "Sir Rey must have said a lot sorry. He should be apologizing. His brain is just smart in other matters. This business is always slow. Hihi ..."

Gisel smiled at Reina's laughter. He went back to thinking, if not for Kanaya, he might never have been able to see Reina's smile again.

"No, Reina. I think the time is right. It's not just Rey who's stupid. But, me too. And all of this is God's way of showing my stupidity" Gisel said. "Maybe we both fit in because we're both stupid."

The two of them ended up laughing together, laughing at Gisel's words which sounded strange but there was no harm in their ears. They sighed almost simultaneously at the end of their laughter.

"Sister Tooth and Sister Rey this time should be really happy. I pray you guys from here."

Reina's sudden embrace almost shocked Gisel. However, Gisel smiled at the end. He returned Reina's embrace. Like releasing a sister who was about to go far away, that was how Gisel felt when releasing his embrace from Reina. She wanted to cry, but with all her strength she held him back.

He once cried as he was about to release Reina's coffin that would be put into his burrow. But this time, even in a different realm, Gisel could see Reina was fine. He felt it was not appropriate for them to part with tears.

"If you need anything, give a sign. I don't know what it is, a dream? Or maybe it's raining? Anything ..."

"Tears ...," said Reina, stopping Gisel's chatter. "Reina's fine here." He smiled broadly as he looked at Gisel with those two beautiful eyes.

Gisel was now convinced, Reina had calmed down there.

"Come ... Brother Gigi must be back soon." Reina pushed Gisel into that door.

Gisel laughed with Reina.

And when Gisel entered the door, and walked a few steps, he could see Reina still standing at the door waving her hand. Gisel returned the hand.

Just as Gisel was about to say something, quickly, Gisel felt something pull his body back. Reina, who had been seen only a few steps away from him, now became more and more distant so quickly, until finally completely disappeared.

Gisel felt his body slide so fast backwards without knowing where he was going. And as his body was pushed forward, Gisel saw a light point that gradually became bigger and bigger. Until it was so clear, he looked over his lying body. A few seconds later, Gisel was thrown down with a bang. And all the views became completely dark. Gisel can't see anything.

......................

"Well!"

Gsiel felt like a person who had just drowned from deep water. He woke up and immediately sat down as soon as he felt the air re-enter his lungs. With a gasping breath, he rearranged his chaotic thoughts that he himself did not know the reason for.

"Gi! You wake up, son. You wake up, dear Gi."

A gentle hug came from the woman he knew so well. Simultaneously, he also saw a man looking at him anxiously. Gisel gathered all of his consciousness, recalling what he had just heard.

"Ma, Pa. ..," he called her down.

She had clearly just heard her mother call her name. He could also see clearly, his papa who was currently before him. Gisel began to feel like a dream.

"Rel ... Is anyone sick? You're okay, right?" asked his mother.

The gentle touch of her mother's hand began to convince Gisel that she was not dreaming. But, a small part of his heart still refused to believe him.

Gisel tried to get out of his bed. He threw a thick cloth that covered him to the side, then tried to lower his legs.

"Where are you going? Y-you haven't been anywhere, honey. You just realized, your body still needs time to adjust."

Mama's right. Gisel felt a strange taste in both of his legs. He also could not move it. But, Gisel had to do something to make sure of it.

"Mirror .. I need a mirror" he said.

Papa Gisel immediately got up to look for a mirror as requested by the princess. But, he could not find a mirror that he could bring to show his daughter.

Mama Gisel finally pulled the phone out of her bag. "There's no small mirror here. But your camera phone can, right?"

Gisel nodded his head quickly. Immediately, his mother opened the camera for Gisel, then showed it in front of Gisel.

Gisel was unable to hide his happiness as he looked at his own reflection in the camera. "I'm really back" he said in his heart. And then tears came down her cheeks.

He looked back at his mother who was sitting next to him, then hugged him suddenly. "Mrs ... Gi is back ..," she said softly in her tears.

Seeing his daughter and wife let go of their happiness, Papa Gisel joined them. He hugged both of them in his tears of happiness.

But, that happiness slowly dissipated as Gisel remembered himself the last time he was in that barn.

"Rey ... Where's Rey?"

Gisel kept calling Rey's name. But neither his mother nor his father seemed to have any difficulty explaining it. Their faces suddenly turned anxious when Gisel mentioned Rey's name.

"What's wrong with Rey?"

Both remain silent.

"Ma, Bc ... Rey why?"

Seeing Gisel who would not stop asking, Papa Gisel finally tried to explain something.

"Rey .. she ... Satrio said he was hurt. Somebody shot him."
