CHAPTER 30: Surprising Meetings, Adit Resolutions

After the Vienna affair was over, Gisel returned to class as Rey had requested. He doesn't know how Rey will handle Vienna. Whatever it was, Gisel was sure Vienna would do it again.

Teenagers like Vienna are not easy teenagers. Given his talk with Vienna earlier it seems that Vienna's hatred of Kanaya is not something that is easily forgotten.

Unfortunately, Vienna did not say what the source of the problem was. It would have been much easier if Gisel had known about it, such as his problem with Nabila. One example is like the young cassanova in front of him at this time.

"Hi, Aya ..."

Evan was standing in front of Gisel, blocking him from stepping while waving his hand. His wide smile made him look like a fool, according to Gisel.

"Unacquainted," answered Gisel flatly as he walked past Evan. He doesn't care about it at all.

But, Evan was apparently more stubborn than Gisel.

"Ouch, fierce. But I like fierce girls," said Evan again, chasing after Gisel and walking with him.

Gisel just kept quiet and continued walking towards his class.

"Saturday, there's an event, right? Watch, yuk."

Gisel still didn't care. He now begins to realize that Kanaya's school is big enough that he feels the distance to his class is too far away.

"I picked you up, huh? We're taking my new car."

Evan seemed to understand Gisel was ignoring him. Once again he cut off Gisel's path by standing in front of him. Gisel immediately looked at her with annoyance.

Gisel didn't want to lose, he passed by Evan's side. But then, Evan moves faster, he blocks Gisel back. Gisel became increasingly upset.

Right at that moment, Gisel saw Nabila walking towards him with two other friends. Whatever Nabila wanted from him, Gisel saw it as an opportunity.

"Kanaya!"

Gisel immediately pulled Nabila, then turned it to face Evan.

"Take him!," said Gisel as he left the misbehaved Nabila in front of Evan.

Gisel still heard Evan calling him, but Nabila more aggressively held him back. Gisel. Nabila will definitely never realize that he is currently saving Gisel.

"Yes!"

Tika looks quite surprised to see Gisel who just entered the classroom. Gisel also saw Adit chatting with his other friends also surprised to see him.

"I thought you were absent today. Where are you from?" asked Tika curiously.

Gisel passed Tika to his desk. After he put down his bag and sat down sweetly then he said, "Capture people."

"Huh?"

Gisel explained what he had just done with Rey. Tika sounded very enthusiastic when Gisel told her. He's been wanting to catch the culprit for a long time.

"Do you know who I used to be close to?" asked Gisel on the sidelines.

"Hmm .. You're just close to me and Adit. You don't get along too much with the others. Most of them will take you. But, as I recall, you didn't give me much of a response. Evan. You know Nabila likes him. So, you rarely want to hang out with him. Evan alone keeps pepetin you."

Gisel could understand that. Therefore, Nabila kept thinking Kanaya was approaching Evan.

But something was lacking. Adits.

For the first time, Gisel sees Adit not being nearby. Usually the boy was always beside Kanaya no matter where they were. Gisel felt this had something to do with her engagement yesterday.

"So, you and Mr. Reynard have known each other for a long time?" asked Tika after Gisel finished telling a story. Looks like the direction of their conversation will lead to what happened yesterday.

"Papa said you learned martial arts from Mr. Reynard."

Looks like Rey's been looking for a reason for their relationship. Indirectly, this would also explain to them, the reason why Kanaya could suddenly martial.

"Ehm .. has been a long time" replied Gisel.

Gisel was drinking from a water bottle he had just bought in the cafeteria, when Tika asked him, "Do you like Mr. Reynard?"

Uhuk ... uhuk ...

Gisel immediately coughed at Tika's question.

"Are you okay, Aya? You are, which is why you drink," said Tika as she rubbed her back.

Gisel knew Tika was asking Kanaya, but the question was asked of her. It felt just like he himself was being asked.

During her time as Gisel alone she never thought about whether she liked Rey or not. Anyway he's comfortable with Rey, yes, that means he wants to be with Rey anytime.

And Adit? I don't know. Maybe his love is clapping one hand.

Crings ...

Gisel was saved when the bell rang. Tika returned to her seat. Not much chance after that. Gisel felt better so for a while. Until everything is clear.

"If there's anything, tell me, Gi," Rey said after Gisel got off his bike.

After school, Gisel goes to practice at Rey's usual place. After they ate, Rey drove him home. Too much of what they beat up left Gisel forced to go home after the sun went down.

"Don't forget. I put the tools in your bag. You just push the button if something happens."

I don't know how many times Rey has said the same thing. Gisel knew Rey was like that. But hearing it too often is boring.

"OK, okay, call you if anything happens. If the neighbor cat gave birth to also call you?" asked Gisel who had begun to stress with all Rey's woo.

"Rel ..."

Rey's eyes turned as sharp as daggers. Gisel then grinned showing his row of teeth. Signs he knows Rey is not joking.

"Okay, I'm serious. I'm phone. Okay well? Back there. You should definitely be overtime again. Oh yes, just ..."

Gisel took out a bottle of vitamin drink from his bag, then gave it to Rey.

"Nuh ... "

Rey was silent for a moment while watching the bottle. Gisel had to thrust it again to break Rey's daydream. Gisel had no idea what Rey was thinking.

"Yes ..."

As Rey received the bottle, Gisel was slightly surprised when someone called out to her. Gisel was even more surprised when he found out that Adit was standing in front of his house.

"When was he there? From earlier? Or just now?" thought Gisel.

"I was waiting for you from now on" said Adit as he walked over to Gisel.

"Oh .. i-yes, I ..." Gisel suddenly became nervous. "What's wrong? Is there a need?"

"Of course there's a need, Gi. Bego really," wrote Gisel in his heart.

"I, I ..."

Adit also seems not ready with what he will say. But then, Adit was like he was breathing.

Gisel looked towards Rey, then asked with a movement of his head. Rey is not the same. They both want to know what Adit really wants to do.

"Yes ..."

Gisel straightened his body as Adit called out to him.

"I just want to say, until anytime I wouldn't be willing if you were with someone else. Not in your condition like this" said Adit. He stood up confidently and fearlessly.

"Amnesia that makes you forget many things, including the promises we made together. But I'm not gonna give up. I will keep making you remember. And when you remember, you're free to choose whether you'll stay with Mr. Reynard or not."

Adit was now attacking Rey with that sharp look in his eyes.

"Mr Reynard ... I'd assume you were helping Aya out of a marriage she didn't want. But if someday Aya does not want this engagement to continue, I will replace everything you have given. Let's just say I owe you my father."

Rey immediately became misbehaved because of Adit's assertive statement. Gisel could see Rey becoming nervous about it.

"So, after this, I won't budge anymore, Aya. I'll do anything to make you remember."

Adit left after he finished saying it. He did not wait for Gisel or Rey to say anything to answer all his words. Adit might just want to convey what he's thinking. He did not expect any answer.

"W-what was that?," asked Rey who was still surprised by Adit's statement.

Gisel shows his grin at the sight of Rey's nervousness. Rey's plan turned around to attack him, in a laughable way according to Gisel.

"Welcome to the world of high school love" Gisel teases Rey. While the one who was tempted just smiled cynically in response.

Rey returned shortly after Adit left. He was still a little confused by everything that happened to Adit and himself. Gisel laughed at Rey competing with her 13-year-old son for love.

"Fun, right? Being fought over by those guys feels fun. Aren't you, gatel girl?"

Gisel had just entered his house and was about to climb into his room when he heard Nabila say hello to him.
