I'm Not a High School Boy

I'm Not a High School Boy
CHAPTER 34: Gisel vs. Nabila

The atmosphere of the house today is truly extraordinary, so in Gisel's opinion. Perhaps the effect of the dinner incident, Clara's anger could be a fire that will burn the house little by little.

"What kind of food is this? You guys can work?"

"Even gini iron can't?"

"Bagas really is a moron. Why recruit bego waiters like them?"

Clara's screams in the kitchen can even be heard up to Kanaya's room.

"Today it seems like your mama is on a high voltage," whispered Gisel to Ian who was watching a movie from Kanaya's laptop. Ian giggled in response to Gisel's words.

"You better not be near him today. Or you'll be electrocuted." Ian's laughter grew more and more because Gisel tickled him.

CASTING ....

"Deflocks all! The plate is still wet why put it here?"

And it looks like today's plate will be the target of Clara's rampage.

"Hopefully today we don't run out of dishes" said Gisel, who was again greeted with a stifled laugh by Ian.

Shortly after, Nabila came with all his distractions. He seemed to be the same as Gisel and Ian, avoiding Clara's rampage.

Brak ...

Gisel stared at a notebook that was just thrown on the table right in front of him. Then then, his gaze turned to Nabila who was standing arrogantly by the door. Hatred clearly emanated from Gisel's two eyes.

"The train. English PR," said Nabila without caring about Gisel's gaze at all. He wouldn't even look at her. After he said his wish, Nabila immediately turned around and stepped out of the room.

"Why don't you do it yourself? You're in 10th grade. I think you can write, right? Or do you want to learn to read from your brother Ian?" Gisel said.

Ian, whose name is called, immediately hides behind Gisel's body. The boy looked pretty scared. If it was Clara it might be understandable. But this is Nabila. Did Nabila ever bother him?

"He's not my brother."

Nabila's eyes looked down at Gisel from where he stood. Clearly, he did not like the name. His face even showed how disgusted he was to refer to Ian as his sister.

"I never had a sister. Mama probably gave birth to him, but our father was different. That means he's not my brother. And that includes you."

Now Gisel understood why Ian was so scared of Nabila. Turns out this is the reason.

"I think your attitude can still be fixed, but it turns out your brain is a problem" said Gisel.

"You ..."

"Yes already. There, go there. I'll do it if you leave. You make the AC so hot," push Gisel directly cut off Nabila's speech. He knew the next sentence that would come out of the boy's mouth was not something sweet to hear. Therefore it is better for Nabila to come out before she goes berserk, then call her mother to the room.

And Nabila went away upset.

Another reason Gisel kicked Nabila out is that he is no longer willing to argue anymore, especially when it comes to Ian. The boy was already very frightened, and now still coupled with having to listen to Nabila's harsh words. For Gisel, it was better for him to do Nabila's job and throw him out.

"It is fitting that Kanaya loves this child so much. It turned out that they had the same fate in this house," Gisel thought.

Gisel's daydream was scattered by Ian who was peeping on Nabila's book.

"Sister Aya will do it?" asked Ian.

Gisel showed his evil smile to Ian.

"of course. But Kak Aya does not speak English," replied Gisel lying with a sad look on his face.

Gisel often travels abroad. Obviously he lied. But Ian understood Gisel's evil intentions. They ended up laughing together.

"You too. If someone asks you to do his job, do it like Kak Aya. Okay?"

His thumb and index finger were coiled by Gisel and then shown to Ian. The boy imitated Gisel's hand movements as well as the blink of his eyes. Finally, they laughed together again.

Both of them ignored Clara's tantrums that did not also subside by comforting themselves. At least it's better than having to go crazy with the people in the house, Gisel thought.

......................

Gisel's body bounces against the school wall when Nabila and her two friends accidentally crash into Gisel. The loud sound that sounded signified how hard they had hit Gisel.

Some children started to gather to see what was going on. But none of them dared to come forward or help. All they did was whisper to each other with the friend next to them.

"What do you mean, huh?," Nabila snapped while thrusting roughly a book into Gisel's chest.

Gisel knows what this is about. Looks like Nabila has seen that his English PR has been done well.

"Why? Is something wrong? Did you ask for a train, it has been done, right?" replied Gisel lightly.

"Are you deliberately doodling my book with these silly pictures?" Nabila threw the book back. He accidentally opened the part that Gisel had crossed out, then thrust forcefully into Gisel's face.

Some of the children who witnessed the quarrel held back their laughter when they saw the picture Gisel made. Nabila immediately realized he had made a mistake by intercepting Gisel in front of many people.

Gisel smirked in front of Nabila. "Look, yeah. That's your job, you do it yourself. You are still healthy."

"Have not ..." Gisel's hand grabbed Nabila's hand and then released him back.

"Not also has ..." This time Gisel's hand pointed at Nabila's head and tapped it slowly with his index finger.

"So don't ask me to do it again. Or, if you insist, I'll do it my own way."

Nabila looks very upset to hear Gisel's words. Plus all the children who witnessed their quarrel were now more supportive of Gisel.

"Why? Want to report to your mom like you usually do?"

Feeling sultry with Nabila and the friends who swarmed her, Gisel walked forward so they backed off as Gisel did so.

"Ah, yes. Stop bothering your sister. He's still a kid. Like it or not, she's your sister. So don't vent your frustration with your sister" said Gisel before he left.

But then, a hand pulled Gisel's hand and held him back to step again. Roughly, Gisel's body is turned upside down to face him, who turns out to be one of Nabila's friends. And unexpectedly by Gisel, Nabila's friend raised his other hand and would land it on Gisel's face.

Quickly, Gisel caught him. Then gripped him hard. Gisel's friend was screaming in pain.

"Ah, pain ..."

"I thought you had forgotten. I've done the same thing like this. And now, I will remind you again," said Gisel who continued to twist the hand of Nabila's friend.

Nabila's other friends chose to withdraw when Gisel managed to stop his friend. While Nabila, his face looks very angry, but then he also raised his hand and intends to do the same as his friend earlier.

But before Nabila's hand hit him, someone held him back.

"What do you want? Three to one, no shame?"

Apparently Tika.

"A really old message. It's here."

Tika directly threw Nabila's hand violently. And so did Gisel. Nabila and her friend straightened their hands.

But, it was still not finished for Nabila apparently. Because once again, the boy came face to face with Gisel. Tika was about to advance in Nabila's way, but then Gisel blocked her. Gisel let Nabila do what he wanted to do now.

Nabila brought her face close enough to Gisel. He then whispered right in Gisel's face.

"You feel great about being engaged to a teacher? I want to see what your fiancee is going to do now. That's if he can still survive in this school."

Gisel's face suddenly changed. Something must have happened, but what?

"She must have done something to Rey" Gisel thought.

Right at that moment, Tika pulled Gisel's hand, then took him away. Gisel refuses, but Tika continues to insist.

"Come, Aya. There are more important things" whispered Tika.

As Gisel moved away from Nabila because Tika was pulling her, his eyes did not turn away from Nabila who kept mocking her by waving her hands. Gisel was sure that Nabila was planning something.

"Yes, come on" whispered Tika as she continued to pull Gisel's arm. "Sir Reynard is now at the Headmaster's hearing."

Gisel looked at Tika. This time it must be really serious, Gisel thought.
