Chapter 2: Unknown Memories and Emotions

The man asked everyone in the room to come out. Gisel doesn't know who he is, but Clara and Nabila seem to know him. They even obeyed the man's orders without refuting a single one.

"Who are you?," asked Gisel with a fierce look, after the door of his room had been closed by the last person out of his room.

The man did not answer Gisel's question. He just walked over to Gisel who was sitting on his bed.

"Everyone is out. You still don't know Om?" asked the man.

Gisel looked at the man nicely. He was worried whether he had misrecognized people. But, Gisel really did not know who he was.

The man sighed slowly. "Om Bagas's. Your papa's lawyer. Remember?" asked the man.

"Papa's lawyer? My lawyer papa is only one. But, not him," Inner Gisel.

"Om gonna explain a little bit about you, maybe there's something you can remember."

From this man named Bagas, Gisel finally found out that he was named Kanaya Bharatajaya, the only daughter of Farhan Bharatajaya and Emma Pramudya.

Kanaya's father died 3 months ago, while her mother has been dead since she was 10 years old.

Clara is Kanaya's stepmother. Kanaya's father married her a few weeks after Kanaya's mother died. And Nabila is Clara's son from her former husband.

Om Bagas was a close friend of Farhan. He becomes Farhan's trusted lawyer. That's why he's in the hospital at the moment, to make sure Kanaya's condition.

"Om just here to ask if you fell into the pool because of an accident, or was there someone else who caused you that?" asked Bagas who looked at Gisel seriously.

How will Gisel answer that? She only remembers she was in a car accident, not falling into a swimming pool. He clearly remembered how his car hit a truck.

Bagas sighed slowly. "It looks like you're really amnesiac."

"Om will investigate this matter. If you fall for being intentional, then om must do something to them as it is written on the will."

"What will?," Gisel told her to ask. He also heard from the talk of Clara and Nabila who mentioned it.

"Papa you left a legacy only for you. Their ration remains only if they can take good care of you. If not ... everything will be gone."

"What other drama is this?" cried Gisel in his heart.

"You do what the doctor says, yes. Tomorrow you will come again with Tika," Bagas said as he stood up from his seat and prepared to leave.

"These? Who's Tika?" asked Gisel. Today he is going through the ospek period. There were so many names he had to know.

Again, Bagas sighed slowly. "Child om. He's your friend too."

After Bagas came out of his room, Gisel again thought about everything Bagas said earlier. The contents in his head became a mess.

"How could this possibly happen? What the hell is going on with me?"

Chief Gisel kept shouting rejecting all the reality that was happening to him. Everything he saw right now felt too real to be considered a dream. Gisel tried to understand it from various points of view, but still his brain was not able to give a logical reason about what was happening to him.

For too long he forced his brain to think so that he could hear quite a shrill ringing sound in his ears. Simultaneously, the entire part of his head felt like it was being pierced by a large needle. Gisel tried to get out of his bed, and stood on his two feet. His hand held the table next to him. But, his legs were too limp to support his body. Gisel immediately fell down beside his bed.

Before Gisel closed his eyes, he could still faintly see Bagas, Clara, and Nabila coming into his room. But, the pain in his head continued to force him to close both his eyes. Gisel finally had no more strength to stay awake.

Gisel was beside a woman who was lying weakly. The woman's hand held her hand. He also saw a man crying beside the woman. The woman looked at him with her sad look.

"I'm sorry mom ... Mama looks like ... won't be able to see you .. wearing a wedding dress," the woman said. It seemed that once he was so weak that even to say it he had trouble.

"Don't talk like that. You must heal for me and Kanaya's sake" cried the man beside her.

"I'm sorry .. I ... Mas."

Suddenly, something like it was pulling Gisel's body backwards very quickly. The pair of women and men he had seen had now disappeared replaced by a pitch-black shadow. His body was like flying at a very high speed.

Then then, he felt himself being thrown down violently. Gisel fell down. He saw a gravestone that read "Emma Pramudya" with fresh flowers on top of his mound. Again, a man was crying beside her.

The man gently pulled his head and leaned it against his shoulder. Gisel was like he was being bewitched, he just followed what the man had directed without saying anything. In a confused state, Gisel leaned against the man's shoulder.

"We have to be sincere, baby. We must be sincere ...," the man cried.

Again, something Gisel did not know pulled his body very hard and fast. His body again felt flying at high speed among the dense and unshaded darkness. And a minute later, his body was thrown back down violently.

Gisel sat down again. This time he sat down with a beautiful kebaya. He saw the man sitting in front of him with a woman beside him. Gisel was unable to see who the woman beside him was because they were looking back at him. But a daughter who was beside him, Gisel was able to recognize him even though the child looked much younger than he had ever seen before. The boy was very similar to Nabila.

As the woman turned her head to the side, Gisel could see her clearly. The woman sitting next to the man was Clara.

Then, Gisel's body was pulled back and made to float. Then it was thrown down. This time Gisel saw Clara and also Nabila was standing looking at him with a contemptuous look. Suddenly, Gisel's head was pulled back because Clara pulled her hair hard. Surprisingly, Gisel did not feel any pain.

"Look, yeah. Don't you dare talk to your dad. Or I'll make you even more miserable" said Clara, who then threw her head violently.

Just as his head was blown away, Gisel's body seemed to be pulled again by something, then taken to a place with a swimming pool behind him. Nabila was standing in front of him.

"You know, right? If I don't like it the most if you're close to Evan," Nabila said as she continued to push hard on her shoulder. Inevitably, Gisel was pushed back.

"Can you, you don't have to be pretty in front of Evan? He's mine!."

Gisel continued to watch the swimming pool that was behind him, he was afraid that he would fall into it. But, Nabila continuously pushed him backwards.

Suddenly, Gisel's feet hit something. A hose was seen twisting his leg.he stomped his leg to release himself from the hose, but he lost his balance. Gisel fell to the side, hit his head on the edge of the pool. A second later, he was already in the water.

Knowing she was in the water, Gisel reflexively tried to hold her breath. But, he felt the water had entered through his nose and mouth. As he was about to lose consciousness, his body was pulled back very hard.

Gisel felt his body being flung back down. But, the blow this time made him wake up from his sleep and immediately sat on his bed. He looked around him. "Still in the hospital" he said.

Gisel felt something warm wash over his face. His eyes were instantly unable to see clearly due to too much water. Gisel finally realized that he was crying right now.

"crying? I cried? Why am I crying?" said Gisel after he wiped his face from his tears. For as long as he could remember, he had not cried. So why is she crying at the moment? She was not feeling sadness, why was she crying?
