Serving a Paralyzed Wife

Serving a Paralyzed Wife
100. Follows Groove

"You like Glacia because she reminds you of Reina?" Lizy asked Rafael who was now glued to look at a photo of someone. A strong grunt rang out from Lizy's mouth. "That's right."

Rafael did not answer. He put the photo in his wallet, then stood up to the window. Both of the man's hands were sinking in his pants pocket. His eyes stared with a glaring look.

"They are both sick with cancer, what makes you want to have it? You feel guilty that you failed to save Reina." Lizy again concluded.

Again and again Raphael just uttered silence. The atmosphere of the room was so quiet that then Lizy was about to speak again, that's when Rafael opened his voice.

"Stop chattering. I saved you doesn't mean I can't hurt you." Rafael turned to face Lizy. His eyes stared at the woman. "I could've done more than Narendra did to you. I can make your face more damaged and the cells so that they can't be repaired. So, you are quite still and moving when needed. Remember, you only have me now, because everyone has already designated you as a fugitive."

Rafael's words inevitably make Lizy mute. He clenched his lips tightly, with his eyes looking at Rafael annoyed. He turned around and walked out of the man's room, leaving Rafael, now unmoved, staring out the window with his arms crossed over his chest.

His lips were mumbled slowly. "Glacia, I'll heal you my way. Then, after that we live together, it's just you and me."

The corner of Rafael's lips lifted full of plan. Since Reina was declared ill, Rafael did not stop studying the science of cancer-specific treatment. Raphael wanted to heal Reina, but God wanted another by taking her. The world is always unfair. Whatever became Rafael's favorite was always taken away in a painful way.

Rafael reached into his cell phone calling someone. "Observations continue the movement of Narendra and his people. Don't underestimate them, remember the Wiranata behind them."

After that Rafael ended the call. He then turned around to open the laptop that had been lying on his desk. Rafael smiled observing Glacia's activities inside his apartment. Right now, the woman was reading a book in the living room.

***

Glacia wastes her rough breathing, closing the book she had read a few minutes ago. Bored, that was what Glacia felt. Usually he was not this bored while in the hospital, because Narendra often accompanied him when free, even the man often deliberately emptied the schedule in order to accompany Glacia in the hospital. But, now he can't even talk to his own husband and father.

Glacia was watching around, Rini was somewhere. The atmosphere was so quiet and quiet that it affected Glacia's mood. Suddenly the thought of wanting to get out of here popped into his head.

Glacia turned her head again at the door, the place where Rini disappeared last time. He turned his eyes to the other door where Rafael had come out this morning. Glacia bit her lip in doubt, before then she moved her electric wheelchair towards the door she believed was the way out.

First Glacia touched the doorknob, before pressing it confidently. However, no matter how many times he tried, the door was still not open.

Glacia's heart was racing. His breathing began to be irregular as his assumption grew stronger, that he had again experienced kidnapping. Amidst her anxiety, suddenly Rini's voice sounded from behind.

"Miss, what are you doing there?"

Glacia was surprised. He immediately changed the look of his face that had panicked, trying to look calm and did not understand anything. Glacia would follow their groove first while understanding what it was that they were aiming to hold him here.

Glacia turned around, she commented a doubtful smile looking at Rini. "That's, I'm just curious about the door." He glanced at the door behind him. "The "texture is different from most other doors. I think it's made special."

Rini was silent for a moment while watching Glacia closely. Glacia was already thin-fisted in his heart, even so he still reviewed the smile while twisting his hands on his lap.

"I heard that Doctor Rafael designed the door himself. The material also seems rare, right? I thought I was the only one interested in the door" Rini said with a smile.

Glacia nodded. "Which hospital does Suster Rini work at?"

He asked as he moved his wheelchair away from the door, then back into the living room he had left. Rini followed behind Glacia when she replied. "Adiwangsa Hospital, Miss. I'm Doctor Rafael's assistant there."

"Yes, Miss. Adiwangsa Hospital does have high standards, the assessment from the government is also very good, which is why all patients feel comfortable" said Rini. His voice seemed happy when Glacia praised the hospital where he worked.

Glacia grimaced faintly, and then asked in a slightly hesitant voice. "Suster Rini since when did he become Assistant Doctor Rafael?"

Rini answered. "It's been a year, Miss. Why?"

"Ah, it's nothing. Means, little does Sister Rini know about Doctor Rafael." Glacia smiled at a glance. "Doctor Rafael is so charismatic, there must be a lot of women who like him."

Hearing that, Rini reflexively nodded strongly. Enthusiastically he even told his boss. "Miss is right, Doctor Rafael is indeed very handsome. In my opinion, he is the most handsome among the most handsome in Adiwangsa Hospital. Her fans were numerous and an average of a woman. From patients, nurses, interns, seniors, to janitors almost no one does not idolize him."

"What does Sister Rini include?" glacia asked as she raised her eyebrows idly.

Rini just grimaced. "I do admire him, but just a sense of admiration for the boss. How dare I think more like people."

"Oh." Glacia nodded. "But, usually a lot, you know, the romance between the doctor and the nurse."

"It's a lot, but it's just fiction" replied Rini. "What actually happens is not immediately, the caste judgment remains valid in the real world. Especially if the doctor is the class of Doctor Rafael, of course the woman who accompanies him must be a woman who is not arbitrary."

"Ah, lunch soon, Miss. I went to the kitchen to prepare some food for Miss."

"Ah, alright," said Glacia, he nodded after seeing the clock pointing at the number half twelve.

"What kind of lunch is this?"

"Do I have a choice as a patient?"

"could. Doctor Rafael said, Miss can ask for any food as long as it proves healthy and good for your body."

"Ah, that's very moving. I was quite impressed with the way he served patients." Actually Glacia was slightly insinuating, not knowing Rini understood or not. "I eat whatever Sister Rini makes. It just so happened that I didn't think of anything to eat" he continued.

Rini nodded in understanding. "good. Then Miss can wait a minute. Or, Miss would you like to wait in the room? Miss wants to lie down?"

Glacia. "no need. I still feel right here" he said with a smile.

Rini smiled too. He walked into the kitchen, and Glacia turned to open the balcony door. Without Glacia noticing, Rini pulled the phone out of her pocket and immediately contacted someone.

"Master, it seems like Miss Glacia is starting to enjoy staying here. She once asked about you, Miss also praised that you are a very good and charismatic doctor. Is this a good development?" Rini whispered while occasionally glancing at Glacia on the balcony.

Rini did not know, that Glacia was trying to listen. It was just that he did not clearly understand the conversation. But Glacia is convinced, that the one Rini is currently contacting is Rafael.

Glacia looked down at the balcony. The location of Rafael's apartment was very high, Glacia could not even recognize the people who were milling around below. Truly the perfect place of refuge. Glacia could not ask anyone for help, because no one would be able to hear her voice from a place this high.

Before that, Glacia also did not see any other residents in the apartment next door. From the morning Glacia silently observed, hoping that there would be someone else living besides her on this floor.
