Serving a Paralyzed Wife

Serving a Paralyzed Wife
77. John's Concerns

Glacia looked at the open door. John had just come out, and Mary had also come home because it was getting dark. Understandably, she is a mother of 2 children who can not go long.

Narendra closed the door, then turned around and smiled as his eyes whistled with Glacia. The man approached, stroked his forehead slowly and planted a kiss that made Glacia aghast.

"What's wrong?" ask Glacia.

Narendra raised an eyebrow. "What?"

Gutting, Glacia seemed to stutter a little. "Why did you kiss me?" ask her slowly.

Narendra sat on the edge of the bed, picked up an apple on the nightstand and started biting it. "Because you're my wife?" answer's relaxed. "Wrong?"

For a moment there was no answer. Narendra turned his head and found Glacia watching him closely. "Why?"

Glacia. His smile was etched rigid and awkward. I don't know, Glacia feels Narendra is a little weird. The man ... is not as usual. Glacia could not explain, but he could feel that there was something else from Narendra.

Narendra ate his apple without saying much, and Glacia continued to watch with her mouth silenced. Silence was long enough to greet them until Glacia finally asked. "I just saw you. Where'd you go since last night?"

Narendra turned his head, still chewing the apple in his mouth, before he swallowed it to answer Glacia's question. "There's important business. Sorry for not telling you. I didn't know my wife was missing me."

Glacia's eyes widened at Narendra's strange reply. While the man held back a smile while again chewing the apple.

Since when did Narendra turn narcissistic?

"B-no, you ..."

The door opened, the arrival of doctors and nurses instantly halted their absurd conversation. During the examination, Narendra and Glacia appear silent. Moreover, Narendra, the man seriously heard the entire explanation of the doctor.

Bizarrely. Glacia really felt strange. He felt that this guy was a little different tonight. He was more confident when talking to Glacia.

In addition, Narendra also continued to stare at him fixedly. Is this Glacia's feeling, or does Narendra feel a little foreign?

"Well, hearing from your story, I still didn't expect you to have a dwelling. Seeing this I don't believe you're an ex-con." Krisna looked around the room of the wooden house she had just entered with Thomas.

Not big, but the house is quite clean and can still be occupied.

"This is my mother's house" Thomas said. The young man went deeper, and Krishna continued to follow him.

Krisna didn't think Thomas would bring her here. He thought they would be strayed aimlessly, apparently the boy had a home in the middle of the forest, away from the crowds.

It's a bit creepy. But rather than Krisna hanging around and getting caught again by the police, it was better to temporarily hitch a ride here, before continuing the intention of finding Lizy and charging the rest of the promised money.

Krishna watched Thomas pat the table and chair with a cloth, trying to get rid of the pile of dust.

Krisna walked into a door that turned out to lead to the kitchen. The house looked like it had been abandoned a long time ago. Perhaps this was the first time Thomas had come home after somehow long the young man had wandered outside becoming a criminal.

Krisna opened the cabinet. As expected, everything was empty.

"There's nothing to eat" he said slowly.

But the murmur was heard by Thomas. "Go to the forest, there are many edible plants," he said flatly. "And if you want meat, hunt."

Krisna. He felt he was living in ancient times. Suddenly, Krishna was curious. "Where are your parents?"

Silent. Krishna, who did not hear Thomas's voice, turned his head and found the young man was now silent with his body fixed on his back to Krishna.

Krishna sniff. "Your mother's not here?"

"My mother is dead."

The young man now continued to open another door that Krishna had suspected of a room.

"Your father?"

Krishna's question again made Thomas riveted. "He's an asshole" he said before entering the room and closing the door.

Krishna did not know, nor did he understand why he had to ask Thomas these questions.

"Ck, why do I feel so familiar with the boy's eyes" decak Krishna said. He returned to his sight-seeing.

Krisna opened the back door that led straight into the forest. The man breathed. "Damn it, do I have to go into that creepy forest to eat? But, it's been a very night."

"Mister Gallen's case is beginning to make progress. The chances of us winning are huge, sir. Mr. Narendra helped a lot in the investigation and concerning the evidence. That means he is serious about this case," Fin told John who was pensive in the back seat of the car.

The assistant glanced through the rear-view mirror, John seemed to be thinking about something, and he did not know what it was.

Not long after John opened his voice. "Do you think I'd better take Glacia abroad for treatment?" tanyakanya. The man's eyes turned out the window, observing various lights that shone from street lights and vehicles.

Fin glanced again while focusing on driving. "Why did you suddenly ask? Didn't you, Miss refused?"

John took a deep breath. "I'm just getting worried about my daughter's situation. Know it? My heart ached when I knew her hair was falling out."

"He's also getting thinner" John whispered.

"Isn't that a side effect of chemotherapy?" ask Fin.

"Yes. But looking for a better treatment place, there is no harm, right? I also want more intense foot therapy."

"If you take Miss abroad, what about Mr Narendra? He can't leave the company."

"He can catch up occasionally" said John.

Fin fell silent. "Then it's up to you."

"I just feel like this country is less safe for Glacia. He was caught several times in a dangerous situation" John murmured.

"Mr Narendra can definitely take care of Miss," Fin said back. "You shouldn't have to worry about guarding, because we know your daughter-in-law has a connection that's not arbitrary."

The corner of John's lips twitched faintly. "I know, but I'm getting worried because he's back in his dark world. Gibran Wiranata, he's too dangerous, and I'm afraid it's going to rub off on Narendra, and then on Glacia" he whispered.

"If Glacia knew her husband's past wasn't as good as she thought, I'm sure she'd be very surprised."

Fin justified. But, according to him, Narendra's feelings for Glacia need not be doubted. Which other man can still survive after being mistreated and cheated on by women?

Only Narendra, he seems stupid but secretly full of ambition.

"I understand your concern, but you also need to see Narendra's sacrifice to stay with Miss." Fin glanced at the silent John. "It's not easy to be in his position. Married a woman who had a higher prestige and power than him."
