104. Refuse to Back down

"Miss, mango juice." Sister Rini handed a glass of mango juice to Glacia. Glacia accepted, she thanked him with a sincere smile.

"thank you. Oh yes, Sister, what time did Doctor Rafael come home today?" Glacia began to sip some of the juice.

Rini answered. "Today the doctor has a scheduled surgery, miss. Doctor Rafael usually arrives home at 10 p.m. What was? You need anything?"

Glacia folded her lips and shook her head. "It's nothing. I'm just asking."

In Glacia's heart of gratitude, he didn't need to meet Rafael seintens yesterday. Glacia will try to sleep before the man comes. He was really lazy to interact with Rafael who he thought seemed fake. The man was kind, but it was as if there was something in him that Glacia could not pin down. This was just a feeling that arose from Glacia's instincts.

A few minutes into the conversation, suddenly the sound of a small clink from the door in front attracted attention. Someone had just pasted an access card, and of course it made Glacia immediately turn to Sister Rini who was also confused.

Didn't he say Rafael had an operation and would be home at about ten? But this is what?

The sound of footsteps was heard approaching from the corridor connected to the door.

"Suster, not ..." Glacia's sentence hangs when what she sees is not Rafael.

From her tall posture, it seemed like she was a woman. Long dark clothes bandaged his body from head to toe. Glacia could not even see his face because of the hooded jacket that covered almost the entire face of the man.

"W-who are you? Why did you get in here?" Sister Rini's voice was first heard. His tone turned tense accompanied by confusion and fear. He pulled down Glacia's wheelchair until she was next to him.

Glacia himself could not be seen the hooded woman, trying to research and recognize the mysterious figure who suddenly entered it.

"Who are you?" This time Glacia asked. He looked up at each other throwing glances with Sister Rini. The woman who looked the most anxious. Of course it is natural to feel when a stranger suddenly enters our residence.

Silent. The figure did not answer. He opened his mouth to greet Glacia.

"Hello, Glacy. Long time no see."

Glacia eyes are breaking. This voice, he sure knows very well the voice of this woman.

Outside, Narendra lifted his fingers, gesturing his team as well as the police force members to move out immediately. They got out of the car, then galloped into the apartment building. The presence of the apparatus and people in black suits was immediately attracted the attention of many public, causing curiosity of people who also felt the tension.

The atmosphere of the building became a little less conducive. Some police remained on guard in the lobby and reception, and members of the IT team withstood their surveillance and wiretapping in the car, while others joined Narendra to head upstairs.

Nick and Harley were monitoring from the air, they landed a helicopter on the roof of the building while watching the atmosphere down there.

Nick brought the handy talk to his mouth. "Rafael Adiwangsa leaves hospital. Looks like he knows about this ambush."

The sound of a speech from Narendra which has now arrived in front of Rafael's apartment unit. He and his team did not immediately enter, they close the body to the wall with an alert attitude. All of them were monitoring the imperfectly closed door, with weapons in each hand.

On the way, Rafael repeatedly curses full of emotion. He who was about to enter the operating room had to leave the task for granted because someone told about the ambush carried out by Narendra and his people.

This made Rafael feel cornered because he did not expect his place to be found so quickly. Not to mention the overcrowding of the vehicle keeps Rafael stuck in traffic until he grows emotional.

He pulled out a cell phone to call someone. "Basic stupid! You said there was no movement from them? You sure you're watching Narendra properly, Thomas?!"

Rafael's shout made the person behind his phone cluck. "How do I know they're that good?" He then continued in a relaxed manner. "After all, you're just telling me to observe, not browse. Who knew they were moving in secret? Now that you realize your abilities are still far below those people," he snorted and hung up.

"Aarrgghh!!" Rafael throws his phone rough, causing a clashing sound because it just hit the window. "Damn it! That boy, I thought he could be his ally because he and Narendra's relationship wasn't good" he said sharply.

"L-Lizy?" Glacia stammered, her eyes fixated on someone ahead there.

Glacia was stunned when she saw the approaching Lizy. He gulped, as did Sister Rini who increasingly pulled Glacia's wheelchair backwards. It seems that woman was also frightened.

"W-what are you doing here? Isn't ..."

"Isn't what? Didn't Narendra lock me up, did he?" Lizy laughs. "Haha. Glacy ... Glacies. You think I can't escape the clutches of your husband who he says works with great people? You should know that luck always follows me."

"And ... What am I here for? Of course to meet you," continued Lizy grinning. He walked closer and closer to Glacia and Sister Rini.

The frightened Sister Rini could not help but run away. He just left Glacia with Lizy. The nurse ran out of the apartment, and was stunned to find the police and people in neat settings like bodyguards ambushing her there.

Narendra placed his index finger in front of his lips, gesturing for Rini to shut up. Of course Rini nodded quickly, her body was already tensed enough to meet a mysterious woman full of wounds inside there, and now she was faced with police and elite people who did not seem careless.

Back to Glacia who has now faced each other with Lizy. He tried to stay calm despite his heart beating alertly.

"What else do you want?" asked Glacia sharply.

Again and again Lizy grinned showing his teeth that were not as white as before. The woman was completely different from the last Glacia remembered.

"You still ask when you know the answer?" He kept getting closer. While Glacia slowly retreated with her wheelchair.

"You still not satisfied?" Glacia frowned unexpectedly. "What makes you hate me so much, Lizy? I even brought you closer to Narendra. Why do you have to keep doing this?"

Lizy grunting. "Aren't you sincere about it? You pretended to give your husband to me, when you yourself started to take heart in him!" annoyed.

His steps further eroded the distance, it made Glacia repeatedly hit objects behind him when dodging.

"As a result, Narendra stays with you. He insisted on not leaving you even if you were flawed and useless!"

"Narendra is with me because of his wishes!" reply Glacia shouted.

Lizy grunting. "Omong empty. Why do you keep attracting men in your condition like this? It makes me really hate you. I hate the attention they keep on giving you!"

Irregular Glacia Breath. He was really worried that Lizy would do something even crazier to kill him.

"You're jealous, Lizy. You envy me" said Glacia. "But at least don't do something that would ruin your life just because of jealousy. You're so focused on your ambitions that you ignore the risks around you!"

Lizy chuckles. "I don't care. You're the one who ruined my life. I'm like this because of you, Glacia. You took away all the happiness in my life. You took Narendra and made him leave me. Narendra left me to marry you! Then now, as if to have no shame you also lured Rafael and drove him crazy!" He returned to grunt before continuing. "That's because you reminded her of Reina, her sister who died fighting cancer. Haha ... You are a fucking carrier! Everyone is going crazy because of you. So, now let me get rid of you so that it's all over. If I can't be happy, don't expect you to be happy, Glacia!"

Lizy ran towards Glacia with her arms outstretched to choke her. But all that was stopped as soon as Narendra and his team entered the apartment room ambush.

The police surrounded Lizy with guns. "Miss Eliza, surrender or we'll have to shoot you."

Glacia was flabbergasted as well as happy to see help coming. He looked at Narendra deeply, and the man glanced at him for a long time, before focusing on Eliza.

"You can't run anymore, Lizy. I'm giving you a chance to surrender, or you won't know what I'll do if you dare touch Glacia."

Lizy turned around slowly. The corner of his lips slanted towards Narendra. "Rush up? I'd rather die than live in defeat."

Lizy quickly moved behind Glacia and wrapped her hands around her neck. Glacia gasped anxiously, especially as Lizy pulled her back toward the balcony.

"Let's die together, Glacy," she whispered in Glacia's ear.
