Serving a Paralyzed Wife

Serving a Paralyzed Wife
58. Love Expressions

Rolling day. The therapy schedule has been two days Glacia passed. Even the second day of the book fair had already passed, but Glacia got nothing to regret.

During that time Glacia patiently spent her time at the father's house. The thing that John is most grateful for is that he can more often enjoy the company with Glacia that has unwittingly dwindled since the woman grew up, especially after marriage.

"Papa does regret your decision to divorce a little, but the good news is that Papa can be closer to you" said John at the time.

Glacia was also happy, his heart warmed when the eyes that began to wrinkle it sparkled with hope. Glacia knew that John was being agitated by the cancer that was attacking him. Not to mention the nerves in his legs that only showed slight development.

Glacia had no problem with that, but he could not bear to see the man who was as tough as the Chinese fortress grieved every day. In fact, Glacia had accepted that he would die.

"Mrs, look who's coming." Weni suddenly came in the middle of her leisure time.

Glacia turned her head, and she found Weni smiling with Vienna beside her.

"How are you, Madam?" Vienna greeted politely.

"Well," Glacia replied, putting her teacup on the table. "You're back to work. Is your father healed?"

"Our father has been much better, Madam," replied Vienna, who was then embraced by Weni excitedly.

Glacia nodded. "Thank God."

Different from her former lifestyle, Glacia actually longed for freedom in the past. But the current pattern of his life also makes Glacia calm, only bored occasionally which is sometimes difficult to cure.

Vienna is back to work. Now the two twin girls are accompanying the days of Glacia as usual. Actually Glacia felt bland because she had no friends. Friends who used to be close are now also away after knowing the condition is half disabled.

They didn't even visit after the accident that hit Glacia. The thing that made Glacia realize that her circle of friendship had been only mortal.

Sad, but also relieved because finally Glacia can be separated from the toxic friendship.

The morning is late, and the afternoon is late. In addition to reading and watching the drama, Glacia also often water her mother's flower plants in the garden mansion.

Sometimes he daydreamed that if God took his life, Glacia would be reunited with her mother. Glacia did not know, but the thought managed to quell a little fear of death.

"Mom, if Glacy comes with Mama, Papa must be sad to be alone" murmured Glacia, touching Lady Martadinata's favorite gardenia flower.

Inevitably their memories always made Glacia want to cry. Why is God so willing to take a storytelling friend that Glacia always made the focus. True, to Glacia, Madame Martadinata was not only a mother, but also a friend whose loyalty was beyond doubt.

Glacia touched his nose again bleeding, he immediately wiped it using the tissue he always carried everywhere.

Vienna and Weni who accompanied from a distance quickly approached when they realized Glacia had a nosebleed, again.

"Miss, it's better now that we're in. It's been very late afternoon. Look at the sky is starting to darken," said Vienna, who warranted Weni. "Yes, Madam. Let's go in. Madam must rest."

Glacia had no choice. He moved his wheelchair into the mansion, followed by Vienna and Weni, whom he banned from helping him push the wheelchair.

Hey, this is an electric wheelchair, why are they helping him?

Arriving at the room, Glacia told the two maids to leave. Glacia wanted to be alone, and she asked to make a salad for dinner. Vienna and Weni understood that Glacia needed time and space, so they obediently left Glacia alone in the room, though in fact they were worried because they feared that the events of the past in Narendra's house would repeat themselves.

Glacia again wiped her nose that was again bleeding, she clucked tired before going to the bathroom to thoroughly clean it with water.

Glacia took a breath, he came out and was presented by the presence of Narendra who stood behind him facing the window. I don't know when the man entered, Glacia was not surprised because lately its presence is like a ghost.

This has been how many times Narendra has visited his room since they separated the house. Even Glacia barely remembered that they had been separated for almost a week, and Narendra still had not signed the divorce papers.

Glacia was tired of pressing Narendra, because it seemed useless. The man was deaf and did as he pleased. If you look around, the more days Narendra the more daring to show his true nature.

"What else do you want?" ask Glacia lazily.

Narendra put the back of his hand on Glacia's forehead. "You're getting pale."

"Every day my face is like this" said Glacia, gently brushed aside Narendra's hand.

But then the hand swiped under Glacia's red-coloured nose. "When's the next schedule?"

Glacia raised an eyebrow. Narendra continued more clearly. "Chemotherapy."

Glacia grunting. "Should you know all my activities and schedules?"

Narendra did not reply. He just stared at Glacia quietly with a flat highlight, but not the freezing cold.

"Naren, when are we getting divorced?"

"Why do you always want to get divorced?"

"Because I want it. Why do you always refuse?" ask Glacia back.

"Because I don't want it" replied Narendra straightforwardly.

"Naren—"

"I, Glacy, that we're starting to like each other" Narendra said.

Glacia looked at the man with a pleading look. "Naren, stop. You won't be happy with me."

Narendra instead handed over a book that some time ago Glacia had been interested but failed to get on the second day of the exhibition.

"Don't make your pain an excuse to avoid me. You need a friend, make me a friend who makes you optimistic."

Glacia looked up at Narendra. Again and again the man almost made Glacia waver. Glacia was afraid, she was afraid that her heart that began to feel bland would meet new waves again. Glacia was unprepared if she had to be hurt repeatedly, simply because of a vulnerable feeling of pain.

"What about Lizy?" whispered Glacia.

Narendra knelt before Glacia, and grabbed the woman in his warm and tight arms. "How many times do I have to say that this is all about us. Don't involve others let alone bring them up. You and I both have a past, Glacy. I accept all your old stories, and you have to get rid of my prejudices."

"I don't want to." Glacia took off Narendra's embrace. "We're getting divorced soon."

"No, if it's just from the side."

"Then sign it immediately."

Narendra. He smiled when he realized something. "Your anger when I left you at the party, it was just one way that you had a reason to stay away, right? Your chance to ask Papa for help who was disappointed in me has a great chance. Glacy, when are you gonna stop?"

"When are you going to be selfish, Naren?"

Narendra won't budge. "When are you going to stop lying about your own feelings?"

"Who lied to his own feelings?" challenge Glacia.

"You. Maybe your mouth can lie, but your eyes aren't good at hiding it. When are you going to admit that you love me too?"

Glacia snorted unexpectedly. He threw his face away from Narendra's gaze which continued to finish him without giving room. Glacia gulped, with a stiffened face he looked back at Narendra who was waiting for his answer.

"Yes, if I'm really starting to love you why? It still won't change the fact that my life won't be long."
