Serving a Paralyzed Wife

Serving a Paralyzed Wife
124. The Perfect Wait

Narendra paused for a moment as his eyes caught the rear sighting of a woman sitting cross-legged on the grass.

He smiled for a moment, before continuing his steps to get closer. His dark green-colored coat fluttered as soon as the wind blew quite fiercely. His hands held several bags of food.

"You're late" said Glacia, as soon as Narendra arrived nearby, and hugged his shoulder from behind.

The man buried his face in the recess of Glacia's neck, inhaling the scent that he so longed for these few days.

"Just one minute. Excuse me. I stopped by to buy you breakfast." Narendra took off his arms, then sat cross-legged beside Glacia. He kept a paper bag of food and a drink cup in front of them.

Glacia took one of them, then took out the contents that turned out to be some croissants, pasta, and other foods somehow, but Glacia had seen the food on the menu list in a restaurant. Maybe it's Icelandic food.

"Where did you get croissants from?" ask Glacia.

Narendra smile. "You take it easy, it's low-calorie sugar. I ordered it directly from my acquaintance."

Narendra's eyes dropped down, rather he stared at Glacia's protruding belly covered in a coat.

Unsolicited, Narendra's hand reached there, revealing Glacia's coat, and rubbed the woman's stomach slowly and lovingly. His eyes are always full.

Narendra was still dreaming. It felt like just yesterday Glacia refused her love, but now the woman even contains their baby.

Narendra ducked into the stomach of his wife in a row. It could not be separated from the attention of Glacia who was eating croissants. She let her husband let go of longing with their son. Usually, there was not a single day Narendra missed to stroke and talk with Glacia's stomach.

"Papa Kangen, son. Sorry, Papa's a little late to accompany you and Mama on vacation. This one week, Papa's time is entirely for you" whispered Narendra. He slightly looked up at Glacia, then threw a shady smile full of love. "You don't sulk anymore, do you? After this, you can visit any place you want, here."

Glacia chews and swallows the croissant in her mouth. "You don't have to take a week off. Four days is enough. I just want to feel the calm for a moment."

Narendra straightened his back, one of his hands resting on the grass, while the other hugged Glacia's stomach, while occasionally stroking their child.

Narendra. "I deliberately took longer, so you could relax more, and we didn't rush home. I don't want you to get tired just from chasing our little vacation time."

Exhaling, Glacia smiled holding Narendra's hand in her stomach. He stared back at the man no less peaceful. "Thank you, for you have always been an understanding husband, a ready-made father-to-be. Sorry, I haven't been a good wife to you. I'm sorry, too, because I was wrong with you a lot. You have always been patient with me, even though I have hurt you many times, demeaning you, ignoring you. I'm really sorry for all my past mistakes, Narendra."

Glacia's smile looked sad, even Narendra directly touched the side of the woman's face. He draped Glacia's shoulder-length hair behind his ear.

"Without you apologizing, I always forgive you, Glacia. I'm just a stupid man who's afraid of losing you. I was selfish for insisting on having you, despite knowing you were tormented by being tied to me. We both have mistakes, both you and me. So stop apologizing, because it will only make us bring up all the stories in the old book" Narendra replied.

Glacia smiled, she hugged Narendra, buried her head in the most comfortable place, the chest of the field of the husband. His lips carved a happy smile, in tune with Narendra who was clutching back to Glacia possessive.

Narendra kissed Glacia's hair, rubbing it finely until a soft fragrance burst out stroking her nose.

"Since the beginning I've chosen you, Glacy. And I always believed that my choice was never wrong" Narendra said. "Maybe you are not a good woman, but you are the best for me. You are the reason where my heart is often rumbling, albeit many times it is made crowded. Maybe this so-called love doesn't need a reason. Sincere love is, when you love someone, but confusedly explain, you love him for what."

"That's how I feel. I also don't know why I want you so much" Narendra continued. He smiled, then slowly broke down the embrace.

Glacia replied no less gently. The two kissed feelingly, right in front of the thundering waterfall in the distance.

True, they are currently in the area of the waterfall Skogafoss. Waterfall located in southern Iceland. Very beautiful, with a green atmosphere around it, also cool air in a pleasant spring.

Narendra took off their lips. He slightly moved away, staring at the waterfall with a look of amazement.

"Why did you choose this place for our vacation? More precisely, why do you want to come here so badly?" Narendra turned to Glacia who was also staring at the waterfall in front of them.

Glacia smiled. Looking ahead, he replied calmly.

"Because this waterfall comes from two glacier sources." He looked at Narendra. "Gletsers, giant chunks of ice that have formed over hundreds or thousands of years. Glacier, glacier, glacia, Papa said my name was taken from there."

Glacia's eyes narrowed as she smiled. Very beautiful, beating the beauty of nature around them. Narendra looked at him. The man blinked and examined his wife's face.

"His race? I've been expecting it a long time ago" said Narendra, softly. "Your attitude to me was ice-cold, long ago," he added. He held Glacia until the woman was now leaning in his arms. They both stared at the beautiful scenery of the waterfall that rumbled there.

"But now you feel warm, right?" ask Glacia.

Narendra smiled with a small puck. "More than I thought." He tightened his arms and held Glacia tightly. "You're more like the warm morning sun."

"I'm happy to know you, Sunshine."

Glacia smiled as she wrapped her arms around Narendra's waist. "I'm happier because you're my husband" Glacia replied gently.

Narendra was smiling. The warm hue equally covers the face of both. Two people who were once impossible to unite, now precisely side by side complement each other. Only God can turn hearts.

This story tells of a waiting, patience Narendra as a faithful husband, although his wife was not perfect.

Narendra with his love is able to survive in the middle of a marriage that is almost at the end of the abyss, until Glacia's consciousness managed to pull him back from destruction.

They both strengthen the foundation that from the beginning is indeed fragile. Repairing a bond that is actually very loose. Nothing is impossible, nor is there any attempt to betray results, if God wills nothing else.

"Narendra, thank you for holding on. Thanks to you I understand the meaning of a relationship. To me you are not only a couple, but also a friend who always understands and understands my feelings."

"I realized that everything that happened to me was a lesson from God, so that I could see how perfect you were as my husband. I'm stupid for being busy looking for another happiness, without knowing my greater happiness is with you, my own husband."

Glacia. His lips pecked at a smile that looked coldly looked at. Narendra also looked down at his wife, he smiled back no less shady.

Narendra kissed Glacia's lips slowly, then held their noses together in warmth. "Together, Honey. Thank you also for accepting me who is lacking."
