Shut up, that's what Narendra can do when observing the maids who are downstream carrying Glacia's belongings to the car.
Glacia realized his words earlier this afternoon, that he was going home to his father. Narendra had not met John, nor had they spoken to each other. Narendra did not know if Glacia was right to ask her father for help regarding the divorce papers. If so, why did John do it?
"Sir." Julian muttered to her, telling her that Glacia had just stepped out of the elevator with Weni, her servant.
The woman is ready to go. For a moment their eyes met, and Glacia who was the first to cast a glance passed Narendra indifferently.
"You're really going?" sela Narendra, stop the Glacia wheelchair.
The woman turned her back to Narendra, but Narendra could see her pale, hollow facial gesture. He looked at Glacia's back slightly flat. Narendra's free to prevent the woman now. Glacia is not an easy person to change decisions.
"As you can see" said Glacia briefly.
Narendra. He approached and stopped right in front of Glacia, blocking the woman's view from the wide-open doorway. "Then be careful. I'll visit once in a while."
"I don't think it's necessary. You just have to sign the divorce papers, then you can see me."
"Glacy ..." Narendra breathed a surrender. "I know you're mad at me. But please listen to me just once. Please careful. Do not leave the house without assistance. Don't forget, take care of your health. Follow what the doctor says and don't forget to take the medicine."
"Can you do it? Not for me, but for yourself."
Glacia was silent for a long time looking at Narendra. He muttered short in response to all Narendra's words. "Hm."
"Weni, it's all in, right?" Glacia turned to look behind Weni.
The girl nodded. "Already, Mistress. We're leaving." Weni's voice shrank at the end of the sentence. He slightly glanced at Narendra who seemed really reluctant to let go of Glacia to his father's house.
"Yes, come on," Glacia asked.
Glacia looked up at Narendra who was still faithfully standing before her. "Can't get out? You're blocking the way."
Without a word Narendra shifted his body so that Glacia could pass. "Glacy," he called again. For a moment he seemed doubtful. "If there's anything, call me."
There was no response, Glacia said nothing and breezed closer to the car. Narendra also approached to help the woman ride. He was already grateful enough not to get a rejection even though Glacia did not speak a single word.
Glacia looked at Narendra for a moment from the open car window, before then the window closed slowly as the wheels of the car were running.
Narendra looked at the long-term departure of his wife. He would have kept on looking if Julian hadn't rebuked him.
"Sir, Mr. John is calling you."
Spontaneous Narendra turns around and enters the house, he receives a cell phone in Julian's hand and immediately attaches it to his ear.
"Papa?" greet Narendra.
He listened silently to the in-laws talk. He soon understood.
"OKAY. See you," Narendra hung up.
He took a deep breath and handed Julian's phone to the owner.
Julian asked. "How, Master?"
"Tomorrow to make a lunch schedule. I'll meet my in-laws" said Narendra, then go to the room in shaky steps. His hand occasionally touched the shoulder that yesterday was sewn on.
"But your wounds are not dry yet, sir," Julian said.
"Then should I keep quiet in this situation?" bala Narendra flat.
The cold tone made Julian instantly silent. He gave up and apologized. "Good, sorry. I'm just worried."
Narendra did not respond, he walked up the stairs, but it could have been faster to use the elevator. It is clear that the man is in a state of turmoil due to the demands of the wife's divorce.
Julian breathed a rough breath. He was confused by the development of his employer's relationship that was so complicated. Julian was quite amazed by Narendra who could last as long as it went through a one-way marriage.
During his marriage he was never considered by his wife, then now sad because he was again being sued for divorce. Julian knew Narendra's feelings were huge for Glacia. Otherwise, it is impossible for Narendra to maintain his marriage despite knowing that the relationship is unhealthy.
Others may have thought Narendra survived because he served Glacia's father. He was his capitalist slave-in-law. But, actually Narendra does not need all that. If you want that man has taken everything off for a long time.
"Master, Madam must see how much you love her" Julian murmured.
***
The next day Narendra was sitting at a table in the restaurant, waiting for John who had already made an appointment to meet.
It was not until ten minutes that the man came and sat down in front of Narendra. "Sorry, Papa's late. There was a little disturbance."
Narendra. He asked the man to order immediately, and so did he. A waiter recorded their order and left. After that, I greeted him for a long time. Narendra and John were both silent with their minds.
"How's your shoulder?" ask John. "Sheard your shoulder was hurt. Papa apologizes on behalf of Glacia," he continued.
Narendra who had been staring at the table. "Little wound, no need to think about it."
John believed it because Narendra was sitting so leisurely leaning back. His arms were even closed like nothing had happened.
"Then, we talk after just eating," John breaks up which Narendra indirectly agrees to.
"Glacia how are you?"
Narendra didn't find anything funny about the question. So he just kept quiet as his in-laws laughed.
"Glacia good. He slept well last night" said John.
"Thank God."
John smiled, his eyes were fixed on Narendra, but then their attention was diverted by the arrival of the waiter who brought food.
"Please." John stretched out a little hand to allow Narendra to eat immediately.
Narendra nodded, and he began to touch his lunch after the servant left before them.
The two ate quietly while occasionally talking about work. Narendra listened well. His attitude was so calmly restrained, something John had always admired from his son-in-law.
Too bad, maybe in the future their relationship will not be this tight.
Narendra finished his meal. He drank and wiped the corners of his lips with a tissue. John who saw it smiled. "Glacia said you refused the signature because your hand hurt. Thank goodness you can eat well today. Papa was worried."
Hearing John's subtle insinuations, Narendra could only remain silent. He waited for the man to finish eating before they started the real conversation.
John finished eating. She did exactly what Narendra did before, then sighed for a moment while looking straight at her daughter's husband.
"Yesterday night, Glacia was in contact with Papa" he said, starting the conversation. Narendra listened silently until John continued. "Papa was surprised because he suddenly asked for divorce papers, as soon as possible. Papa knows there must be a problem between you."
Narendra is still listening. No wonder the farewell letter was processed quickly, apparently Glacia was really asking for his father's help.
"Actually Papa still wants you to be Papa's son-in-law. But, Papa is also quite disappointed, since you failed to keep Glacia at that birthday party."
John looked at Narendra. "When Glacia was bullied, where were you?"
Narendra silence. He realized that John knew the truth of the story. Narendra was still very sorry, meeting Lizy was his biggest mistake right now.
"Papa knows, but Papa wants to hear straight from your mouth" said John softly. The look in his eyes was pacifying, but there was a hint of disappointment that made Narendra unable to dwell.
Narendra sighed faintly, looking down for a moment before replying with John's gaze. "I'm sorry for Glacia. I know I was wrong. I did have a conversation with Lizy at the time, but it wasn't what Glacia or Papa thought."
John looked at Narendra, listening. Narendra continued his words. "I don't intend to defend here, because I was wrong about the incident that happened to Glacia that night. But, I would also be honest that I and Lizy have nothing to do with it. Lizy told me that my father was released on parole." Narendra looked back at John. "Papa should know my worries now" he said slowly.
John nodded late. "Papa understands, and Papa promises to take care of Glacia. Papa won't let your father or anyone hurt Glacia if that's what you're afraid of. Papa believes, Papa can take care of Papa's daughter."
"For your farewell—"
"I don't want to split up" Narendra cut. "Either how many times have I disappointed Papa for my negligence, but I really don't want to part from Glacia."
"She's my wife, and I want to stay that way until anytime."
The assertiveness in Narendra's voice was enough to signal that the man was indeed serious with his daughter. The seriousness of Narendra is beyond doubt, John could see for himself during his nearly 2 years of marriage with the child.
"Papa knows." John nodded. "But this time it's different, Naren. Glacia is sick, and Papa doesn't want to ignore her wishes. Glacia wants a divorce."
"Does you agree we're divorced?" ask Narendra quietly.
"Papa had no choice. Again this is Glacia's wish. I hope you understand too. Papa had too much to put aside Glacia's will beyond matter."
Narendra was silent, his eyes looking at the empty plate on the table. Is it like this at last? It felt like Narendra had only briefly enjoyed the closeness of himself and Glacia.
"Naren, do you love Glacia?"
The corner of Narendra's lips twitched thinly. While John watched the man flinch.
"You know, the reason why I was able to last this long even though Glacia never considered me as her husband?" Narendra. John was equally bound to himself.
"I never demanded anything. I don't even have a problem with Glacia being in contact with another man, even though I actually want to get angry and hit them both. I tried to keep quiet when Glacia almost never came home from a sleepover with her boyfriend."
"Papa says, why do I have to endure all that treatment?"
Narendra then chuckles blandly. "Glacia said, I survived because of the company."
John shakes. "For the second reason Papa doesn't believe it, because if it's really your goal, you're not going to name your shares for Glacia."
Apparently John knew what Narendra had been doing secretly. He could do nothing when his father-in-law realized it. Free is kept secret. John has an important position as the founder and owner of the company, it is natural that the man knows.
"Papa knows it's heavy for you. But Papa hopes once again for you to understand the state of Glacia now. Doctors forbid stress, and Papa is afraid that if this divorce does not happen it will worsen his condition. You know for yourself, getting divorced was Glacia's wish for a long time."
John rises. "Papa still has business. Please consider again. I hope you can sign it soon."
After that John went and patted Narendra's shoulder firmly. Narendra himself did not flinch with a glaring look. His breathing was long stifled, even as his hands rubbed a slightly rough face.
John looked at Narendra's back which was not as fast as before. He also threw his breath before his steps continued to enter the car.
On the way John did not stop thinking, then suddenly his eyes were seized by a small television in front of him. A recent news that caught the attention of John.
"Five men and two women were arrested by police after being caught at a shabu party in one of the star hotels. Three of them were sons of the minister, while others were allegedly sons of the conglomerate. Before this they were known to bully a woman at her friend's birthday party. The woman is none other than Glacia Martadinata, daughter of John Martadinata who is now paralyzed by an accident approximately two months ago. As a result of the abuse and abuse, the victim suffered severe trauma and bruises on her body."
John stewed. Apparently Narendra chose this path in return. In this way, it is clear that the suspects will be sentenced in layers.
"You do care about Glacia."
