Serving a Paralyzed Wife

Serving a Paralyzed Wife
38. Reactions and Emotions

"Thank you for the help" Glacia said as soon as she walked out of the bathroom. He had just finished cleaning the nosebleed on his nose.

"Either. Your head is still dizzy?" Rafael observed Glacia's expression faintly frowning. The woman's face was pale with sweat condensing on her temples.

Unexpectedly Rafael reached out his hand rubbing the sweat. Of course it makes Glacia aghast and reflexes away.

"Ah, sorry," said Rafael awkwardly.

Glacia just nodded. He then intended to leave the passage ahead of Rafael, but he did not realize the small step in front of him. As a result, Glacia's wheelchair slipped and almost toppled if only Rafael did not hold back.

"Be careful. You seem to have forgotten here there's a step."

Lousy. That was the atmosphere between them. Glacia moved uncomfortably because Rafael hugged her indirectly. I don't know, but he felt Rafael was always staring at him for too long.

"Thank you again" said Glacia. If Rafael understands, he at once signals for the man to move away immediately.

Rafael nodded, the corner of his lips engraved kindly. Maybe Glacia just thought too much. The man also distanced his body from Glacia. "Should I help push you?"

"No need." Glacia.

Once again Rafael nodded in understanding. He followed Glacia from behind while occasionally watching her. Glacia was not aware that Rafael was staring at him.

Although not in perfect circumstances, Glacia Martadinata still charming with her beautiful face, even more charming because she is different from what is often reported.

Glacia the princess was spoiled and loved arbitrarily. It might be true, but what Rafael saw in front of him was a different Glacia. That woman is not as bad as people talk about. Instead of being annoying, the Glacia that appeared in Rafael's eyes was a woman in need of an embrace.

She ... looks a little sad. Highlight his eyes when alone as if implying hurt and pent-up emotions. Rafael is curious, what kind of woman Glacia really is.

As she reached the end of the hallway, Glacia suddenly stopped her wheelchair, and Rafael stopped and frowned in confusion. Just as he was about to ask, a heavy voice sounded in front of them.

"Glacy?"

That's Narendra's voice. The man was standing in the middle of the hallway with his eyes staring straight at them. The dim lighting makes the vision a little faint. But neither Rafael nor Glacia noticed the glare of anger flaring in Narendra's eyes.

"Na-Naren?" Glacia slightly turned to Rafael behind her. "Are you done dancing?" He also tried to melt the atmosphere that suddenly felt suffocating.

Tension seemed to surround the silence. For God's sake, Narendra's reaction like this is only now that Glacia has met. Usually the man only survives in one emotionless expression.

Narendra looked at Rafael straight, Rafael looked back at Narendra. The two men threw one another a glance while Glacia gulped in puzzled saliva between the two.

"Is the show still running?" Glacia decided to ask anything, the important thing was that she came out of that gripping and suffocating silence.

Glacia did nothing wrong. But Narendra's look provoked a panic that made him want to run.

Narendra turned to look at Glacia. "still. Papa's looking for you," he said flatly.

"Oh, yes, I have. I'm going over there. Where is he?"

Instead of answering, Narendra approached and positioned himself behind Glacia. Without a word the man pushed his wife's wheelchair out of the hallway.

In the back there, Rafael snorted a still smile while standing staring at the departure of the two.

"Where is Papa?" Glacia asked because Narendra had not brought her to John. Instead, he invited Glacia to grab a snack at the table.

"Naren, I'm asking you, '" Glacia said. Narendra did not respond until Glacia was upset by herself. "You said Papa was looking for me?"

"What are you doing with Rafael?" Narendra asked back. Habits.

Glacia clucked and was about to pull back his wheelchair leaving Narendra upset. "It's none of your business. You lied to me."

But Glacia's intention was successfully detained by Narendra. The man blocked the grip of his wheelchair until Glacia did not leave.

The man said nothing, but Glacia who was uncomfortable with the gaze demanded him to not cluck. "I'm just going to the bathroom. Satisfied?"

"To the bathroom with a man?"

"He just drove me, Naren," Glacia replied tiredly.

"Why should it be intersected?"

"Why are you so chatty?" murmured Glacia, more on sneering in astonishment. "Of course he drove me because I didn't know where the toilet was."

Narendra. He was still staring at Glacia with a probing look. That made Glacia waste her breath.

"You lied to me just for this?" glacia asked in disbelief. Narendra did not answer.

"Now you know, so stop being so annoying." Glacia was about to resume her intention of leaving Narendra, but again Narendra did not let Glacia go.

"Eat first," said the man, giving Glacia a small plate of snacks.

Still with an astonished face, Glacia received the plate and noticed Narendra taking a glass of juice.

"We went to the balcony" he said, pushing Glacia's wheelchair to where he had just mentioned it. Now in Glacia's hands was a plate and a glass that Narendra had taken.

They arrived at a very quiet balcony. Narendra stood leaning against the edge of the concrete fence while facing the frowning Glacia staring at him with narrowed eyes.

Glacia's face was filled with confusion over Narendra's attitude. The man looked so tense that the atmosphere around him was gripping. Then now suddenly invite Glacia pulled over from the crowd, or the language of children today hanging out together.

"You why?" Glacia who couldn't stand being stared at finally asked.

Narendra did not answer immediately, but his hand that was originally stuck in his pocket he pulled out and then squatted in front of Glacia. Narendra said nothing to the point of confusing Glacia.

The man just looked at her while holding the left and right sides of Glacia's wheelchair arm. Then suddenly Narendra's hand reached out wiping Glacia's nostril using his thumb.

Glacia was speechless when Narendra found a reddish bias in his fingers. "Glacy, when I was hoping, no matter what happens and you feel, you'd come to me" she murmured a little unclearly.

Narendra looked up again. "Why didn't you ever say you were in pain?"

Glacia was stupefied to return Narendra's gaze that was fleetingly filled with guilt. Does the man know about his condition?

"Why? You want to feel sorry for me again?" Glacia tightened her jaw unhappily. He really hated being stared at that weakly.
