Serving a Paralyzed Wife

Serving a Paralyzed Wife
87. Narendra's anger

Glacia was still crying in her ward. The woman gulped with her shoulders down on the wheelchair. Again and again his trust must be broken by the painful reality. This is the reason why he always rejected Narendra. Glacia was afraid that the same thing would happen again, as Gallen betrayed her.

His heart is about knowing Narendra still cares about Lizy. The man still loves his ex-girlfriend. What did Glacia expect? She's just a disabled and sickly woman who doesn't even have a reason to be loved.

The door opened, and Glacia knew what was coming was Narendra. Glacia reluctantly turned around and remained in her position facing the window. Until he heard the footsteps approaching, then stopped right behind him.

"Glacy?" Narendra called out quietly and cautiously. Slowly her legs swung to erode the distance, but stopped as soon as Glacia made a sound.

"Don't come any closer." The woman's voice sounded raucous. Narendra could only stare at Glacia's back.

"You misunderstood" Narendra said.

Glacia did not reply, but softly still heard from her lips. Narendra was completely made to go awry, he did not know where to explain.

"What you heard earlier, it's not what you think it is. Actually, I'm ..."

"I want to go home" cut Glacia.

"Whatchu mean? Doctor has not—"

"I want to go home!!" glacia shouted while crying again. He looked down, covering his face with both hands. The issue was hardened again until it made Narendra silent.

Narendra approached and gathered next to Glacia's wheelchair. The man tried to touch his wife who ended up getting a pat. "Glacy, don't put this—"

Glacia jerked the hand of Narendra who was about to hug her. He looked up at the man, until now his tearful face was clearly visible in Narendra's eyes.

"I have to how?" ask Glacia. His voice was challenging but also raucous. "Say I have to act like you, Naren? You lied to. You're not much different than Gallen. You guys are both happy to fool me."

Narendra. "It's not like that."

"Then what was it like?"

Narendra.

"Like you still secretly care about Lizy?" glacia. He chuckles tastelessly. "Stupid. Before, I was the one who brought you guys closer. I shouldn't be this sick, should I?"

"Glacy?" Narendra seemed to be begging.

Glacia moved her wheelchair away from Narendra, to the point that the man let go of his grip. Narendra stood watching Glacia who turned the other way.

"I want to explain, but I'm confused where to start. Not everything is what you think!" Narendra's breath was puffed. "Please, trust me," he continued pleading.

"Difficult, Naren. It's hard for me to trust you again. This is the second time you have disappointed me. Ye know? Formerly Gallen—"

"Gallen! Gall! Gallen and Gallen!" narendra is shocking. The man's breathing was irregularly staring at Glacia's back. "Stop thinking about Gallen because I'm not him!! Why do you always bring that bastard between us?! Can't you just focus on looking at me?!"

Glacia was flabbergasted to see Narendra's anger. His heart was almost gone because for the first time he heard Narendra screaming. Glacia looked at the man. Narendra now looked at him with a sharp and demanding gaze.

Jakun Narendra gulped. "Once again you mention the name of that bastard, I will completely eliminate him," he sighed sharply.

Glacia's forehead was wrinkled deep. He felt alien to Narendra in front of him. "Naren?" whispered Glacia unconsciously. Why does Narendra look so scary?

"I'll eliminate him, Glacia. I'll kill him so you can't think about it anymore!"

"It's been enough all this time that I've been patient. This time you are mine, not Gallen or anyone else" Narendra said.

Narendra's steps galloped towards the door. Glacia who was wondering was ready to chase. "What revenge?"

But Narendra did not answer again, the man ignored Glacia and quickly opened the door.

"Naren, what revenge?! Naren! Narendra!"

Not only did he ignore Glacia, the man also locked the door of his ward from the outside. Glacia's eyes widened with what Narendra had done to her.

Brak brak brak!

"Narendra what are you doing?!" Glacia banged on the door and shouted loudly. "Naren why did you lock me up?! Open door!! Narendra!!!"

"Doctor!!! Doctor!!! Anyone outside tolooonggg!!!"

Brak brak brak!

Narendra stared at the door in front of him. He glanced at the doctors and nurses who were running over to hear the commotion. Narendra spoke sharply. "Don't open it unless the inspection schedule arrives."

He left, as people dressed in black emerged from the elevator. "Observate them, especially Glacia. Don't let him do anything desperate."

"Good, Sir."

Narendra enters the elevator, he descends in the lobby and immediately walks outside to his car. He was unaware of the presence of someone leaning against one of the pillars.

"You locked him up? Hey, don't be so mean, remember he's my cousin."

Narendra's steps stopped, he turned slowly and found Gibran Wiranata looking at him, with an overbearing face that was ingrained. They looked at each other, his eyes both looking flat.

Gibran Wiranata then snorted. "Damn. If I wasn't in need of you, I wouldn't let you look at me so annoyingly."

"Surely you need me to investigate the bombing a few years ago" Narendra flatly said.

Gibran fell silent, the corners of his lips twitching thinly. "If there's the most arrogant bum, it's you."

"And this bum can solve your problems."

Gibran. He turned his back away from the pillar, then walked closer towards Narendra. He passed Narendra and got into the man's car.

Gibran sat in the front passenger seat beside the driver, he opened the windshield, and turned to Narendra who was still standing.

"Wait for what else? The road! You don't want to see your wife's ex-boyfriend's trial?"

Narendra walked into the wheel, half-heartedly driving his own car out of the hospital courtyard. Gibran smiled slantingly patting his shoulder. "Casual, Dude. You have to learn to relax the muscles in your face."

Narendra doesn't care. His mind was being muddled and filled with everything, especially about Glacia.

Speaking of Glacia, the woman is now flabbergasted. He still did not believe Narendra could do that hard to lock him in the nursery.

"What the fuck. Isn't it me who's mad at him?" Glacia is hissing slowly. He massaged his forehead that felt dizzy because of shouting and tired of spending extra energy. At the end of the door it remained unopened.

"Hey, you guys don't want to help me? I'm a patient, what if nothing happens to me without you knowing?" Glacia knows there are people outside. But he did not know, all his actions in the room did not go unnoticed. They were watching, and could tell if the woman was not well.

"Geez, why is it like this?" glacia still did not expect.
