Serving a Paralyzed Wife

Serving a Paralyzed Wife
110. All for Glacia

Glacia blinked weakly with an oxygen hose on her nose. His eyes glanced one by one at the humans surrounding his bed. From the doctors, Maria, Gibran, John, and Julian who tried to support Narendra's body, the man staggered a little.

A second later Narendra jerks Julian's grip on his body, then draws closer to Glacia. He touched both sides of the wife's face while watching her deeply. Breathing relief is heard. "You're still blinking. I'm happy," he said in a whisper.

Glacia's forehead wrinkled. His head was already dizzy, and it grew dizzy to see Narendra's face this close.

"You're drunk." Glacia pushed Narendra until the man stood away. The push was very slow, but it was able to make Narendra almost stagger backwards.

Narendra. "Nick gave me the medicine."

"Nick who?" glacia asked confusedly. "What's wrong with you guys?"

Silent. Gibran glanced softly at Maria next to him. The wife stood with a sinless look. He also pulled Mary out of there because she was lazy to interfere with people's household affairs.

Ignoring Glacia's questions, the doctor explains her condition to Narendra. "Your wife had a severe drop earlier. It seems like he's been thinking too much lately." The doctor looked at Glacia. "Mrs, in the future you can not stress anymore. This is very dangerous for your health development," he explained. "Because the whole family is here, I say goodbye."

After the doctor left, John approached his daughter, gently rubbing the side of Glacia's head. "Stop scaring Papa, son. If something is bothering you, tell me. We're so worried about you."

Glacia. He glanced at Narendra and Julian behind John. Maybe Julian felt he didn't need to be there, so the young man went after Gibran and Maria came out.

Glacia looked back at her father. "I'm fine, Pa. Papa don't have to worry." Then he continued. "That's ... Papa can come out for a second? I ... want to talk to Naren."

John glanced for a moment at the son-in-law standing behind his back. The middle-aged man straightened up, smiling as he rubbed back Glacia's head. Without a word he left the two lovebirds who are now silent to each other.

Narendra who has not fully recovered from the feeling of drunkenness, his face looks haggard and sweet. He looked down, as if he did not dare to look at Glacia.

"Naren?" call Glacia slowly. His weak-sounding voice made Narendra's heart waver. Fear haunted him until he finally collapsed, kneeling beside Glacia's bed, touching the woman's hand while continuing to look down deeply.

"Sorry" whispered the man. "Sorry, Glacy. I know I was wrong. I sinned. I am a poor man in the eyes of God. I hurt a lot of people without you knowing. I'm mistaken. I wasn't honest with you before. I'm too embarrassed, Glacy. You deserve to hate me."

If not accompanied by drinking, maybe Narendra would not dare to be this honest with Glacia. But Glacia knew, everything Narendra said came from the bottom of his heart. Glacia could feel the man's unrest. His heart was immediately troubled.

Glacia didn't think she would meet Narendra today. He still wanted to keep his distance from the man. Who would have thought his condition had dropped. Indeed, from yesterday his brain could not stop thinking. He also has difficulty eating and sleeping because he continues to ring the words of Narendra.

Maria said she had to follow her heart. For that, right now his hand is raised touching Narendra's head. Swiping his slightly messy hair, then sucked his fingers there.

"Naren," call Glacia slowly. Narendra was silent, but he never lifted his face to see Glacia. The man still faithfully focused his forehead on the back of Glacia's hand.

"Narendra, look at me." Glacia sighed. "You're really drunk as it turns out."

This time Narendra's head shook. The man's mouth was silent, not making the slightest sound. Glacia could only see the top of his head.

"Why should everyone run on alcohol when they encounter problems?" glacia. "I used to love that intoxicating drink, but not right now. In the future, you should not drink too often. If it's just wine, I can understand."

"No," cut Narendra. He held back Glacia who was about to make a sound to call Julian. His grip was getting tight, Narendra also stared fixedly at the wife who now also looked back at him. "After contemplating all day yesterday to this day, I finally know, that here the one who hurts the most is me."

"I am the most selfish. I forced you to marry me, pressured you into our marriage, ensnared you so that you could not run away and continue to be in my grasp. I made you spin in my living space. I'm selfish, Glacy. I'm selfish for wanting to have you, without thinking about how you feel."

"I have also done many things to keep you by my side. A lot of things, Glacy. Be it clean and dirty, all I do is keep you with me."

Glacia was fixated, Narendra was really crying. The man sobbed with his wet face.

"I'm sorry, you often feel uncomfortable, especially with my attitude. I'm really sorry, Glacy. I was wrong, I'm sorry."

Narendra kept repeating his apologies, secretly Glacia grimaced as it seemed that the man was very drunk.

"What did you say? I married by Papa's coercion, not yours" Glacia said.

With a sigh Narendra shook his head. "Actually, I planned all the situations so that your father had the intention of marrying you. I've tried so hard to be his son-in-law, Glacy, including throwing away my ego for having to live in the middle of your family who are higher than me."

"Although it's heavy, I'm sticking around for you. All this for you, Glacy. I do a lot of things because of you. I really want you, want it then or now. You are the thing I want most, among all that I want."

"Glacy, despite all my vices, but I swear, I swear I never once dared to hurt you."

Glacia. He looked at Narendra flatly. The full roar of imprinted pleas was clearly on the man's face. Glacia also threw away her face. "Go."

Narendra raised his head in a huff. "What?" His face was nervous with panic. "G-Glacy, you can be angry and hate me, but-but ..."

"Go, I want to rest. Your alcohol smell is so stinging."

"A-H ..." Narendra got up. His hands twisted together like a child. It made Glacia's forehead wrinkle deeply. Apparently drunk can bring out the childish nature of a person?

"Wait for what else? Go!"

Narendra looked at Glacia doubtfully. Slowly his legs approached, making Glacia reflexively shift her head away from the pillow, because Narendra was increasingly bent like he was about to kiss. "W-what do you want to do?"

Just as Narendra was about to land his lips on Glacia's lips, Julian rushed in hurriedly and pulled his master by force. "T-Master, let's go. Madam needs rest, you don't bother her!"

Julian dragged Narendra out, while Glacia was pecking on her bed, thinking of Narendra's confession just moments ago.

All because of Glacia? Whatdoes thatmean? Did they ever know each other before? Narendra even said that it was he who laid out the scenario until John ended up marrying them both.

I don't know what Narendra did, whether it was true or just a concoction, but he had heard the words of the drunken man was always honest.

"You make me even more curious, Naren," whispered Glacia before going to bed.
