Serving a Paralyzed Wife

Serving a Paralyzed Wife
115. Worth Together

"Naren ..." Glacia blinked and called Narendra.

Narendra, who had been standing not far from him, spontaneously approached, then sat on the edge of the bed, next to Glacia, touching her hand, which was attached to a hose. Glacia has just finished chemotherapy. As has been the case, Narendra always accompany every schedule of treatment of the wife.

"What's wrong? Is there anything that makes you uncomfortable?" ask Narendra worried. He was anxious because he saw Glacia's face so pale, even his lips were almost without hue.

Glacia. "I'm just tired. Go to sleep. Can you stay here? Don't go anywhere" he whispered, with his eyes beginning to look faint.

Narendra. "I'll accompany you."

He rubbed the head of Glacia covered in a knit hood. Narendra ducked for a moment to anchor the kiss on his forehead, stroking Glacia's fingers in his hand.

"Sleep well, Sunshine. Don't worry, I'll stay here until you wake up" whispered Narendra.

Glacia smiled, before then her eyes completely closed, leaving Narendra in silence. Narendra stared fixedly at the face of his wife. His long finger stroked quietly there, feeling how thin Glacia's face was now.

The woman's eye bags are clearly brownish, the cheekbones that arise indicate her weight is reduced a lot.

Narendra closed his eyes tightly, the man's breathing was so long. Witnessing Glacia's suffering like this made Narendra's heart seem blasphemous.

"Cure him, Lord. So I can have it longer." Narendra whispered softly. He opened his eyes, looking at Glacia who was now sound asleep.

"You need to heal, Glacy. You promised to fix our marriage together. Don't forget, I'll be waiting for you for whatever."

John, who was about to enter Glacia's room, became disobedient as soon as he saw Narendra. He did not want to disturb the peaceful atmosphere between the two. So he left, and changed his intention to visit Glacia later.

Fin who accompanied her also followed. The two men entered the parked car in front of the lobby and started leaving the hospital.

"Now, they love each other. Master must be happy, because your daughter finally dropped the choice on the right man." Fin said while focusing on turning the wheel. He slightly glanced at John in the back through the front rearview mirror.

John took a breath while nodding faintly. "Regardless of Narendra's crimes, he does love Glacia very much. Either way, I was the first to bring them together. I want them together, so this is what God answers. Their bond seemed to be much stronger than I had previously imagined. Separating them was a futile intention. Narendra probably wouldn't let me go if I changed my mind about his relationship with my daughter."

John nodded. "I believe he is the most appropriate man, and also the man who is able to love Glacia more than my love."

"With all that in mind, can I remain worried, while Narendra would bet his life to maintain his position next to Glacia?"

Fin fell silent. Hearing all John's narration, he can now conclude, Narendra's dark life did not affect his blessing on the man, although previously it was made to waver.

John still cares about Narendra. In the past, it was the one who helped the young man's difficult times. Even now, if John had lost his sympathies, he might have reported all the crimes of Narendra long ago.

But in fact John was silent, because he actually loved Narendra, just as he loved Glacia as his son. After all, if John could sue the man, Glacia would suffer.

"Love has always had a complicated journey. Nevertheless, that is what will make it even more special" said John, with eyes glaring down the street. "I'm sure, after all they've been through, they can learn and understand each other better, respect each other."

"Narendra is the lantern that drags Glacia from her slump. Maybe the light used to be too dim, until its existence ignored. But now the light is beating the sun. I'm happy, because Glacia can finally smile back, after previously she was so desperate and lost the spirit of life."

"I hope that after this nothing will disturb their lives." John continued. "They deserve to enjoy togetherness normally, like a couple in general."

"Yes, Sir. I am also supportive. Miss has been devastated since losing the Big Lady. Now finding another warmth that makes her comfortable, I pray that Miss Glacia and Mr. Narendra can have a better marriage." Fin chimed.

As an assistant who had been following John for a long time, he knew a little about what Glacia had experienced.

Then now, Narendra's presence in Glacia's life can be at once a cure for a sense of loss that has long caused emptiness.

The man managed to occupy half of Glacia's lost heart after her mother's departure, and shifted Madame Martadinata to the most appropriate corner of the memory.

"You are right, Glacia was a child who had rebelled frequently, since my wife had left" John wrote. He stared at the clear sky outside the car window, then whispered inwardly.

Honey, look. I managed to find the right man to accompany our daughter. He is stronger than me, though his power is not as great as mine. She'sgreat. Our daughter-in-law is great.
