Serving a Paralyzed Wife

Serving a Paralyzed Wife
40. Truth and Trust

Those eyes opened quickly. Narendra woke up from his sleep with slightly messy breath. He began to rise up to keep his back away from the surface of the bed, rubbing his face rough while bowing deeply.

His breathing was wasted as Narendra stared at the clock pointing at the number 2 of the night. The sky is still dark, and unfortunately Narendra even felt dizzy, even his sleepiness left so quickly.

Narendra pulled out the blanket and left the bed. He walked out of the room, entered the elevator until he arrived at the kitchen. His feet swung toward the bar table, took a glass and filled it with water for him to drink to the toilet.

Narendra stayed there for a long time. His face looked as if he was thinking of something. Again the breath is wasted so hard that it can be heard in silence.

He also decided to go back to the room. Throughout his slow steps, Narendra could not stop thinking until he finally arrived in front of his own room.

Instead of entering the room, Narendra opened the door to Glacia's unlocked room. For a moment he just pecked before his feet took over and moved closer to the bed. Glacia was sleeping there.

Narendra glanced at his wife who was deep in the dreamland. He also stepped down to sit on the lips of the mattress while continuing to look at Glacia who was grateful not disturbed.

Meanwhile, Narendra does not know that elsewhere Lizy also awakens. The difference is that the woman sits alone in her room. But the usual friendly eyes now seemed empty filled with wounds.

Lizy squeezed out a photo in her hand. Her tears were slowly shed as her heart was again scarred by the past. Lizy sobbed with his head lowered, until his long hair was unraveled forward covering part of the face.

"When will you admit that you once betrayed me, Naren," she whispered softly. "Hiks, it turns out you're nothing more than an asshole cheating on you."

"If I hadn't investigated, all my life I would never have known the real reason you broke off our relationship."

"It's all because of Glacia. Again and again because of Glacia. Why do all men keep turning to her even if she's handicapped. Even Rafael." Lizy snorts cynically. The corner of his lips lifted up.

When compared to Glacia, her prestige was clearly more convincing and perfect. Lizy is an intelligent woman of achievement, inversely proportional to Glacia who can only create sensation.

Even so, somehow Lizy always feels defeated by the woman if love problems.

"If your face is ugly, everyone will probably leave you. Including Narendra. She's hooked on your beauty, isn't she?"

Glacia opened her eyes slowly. He frowned with his eyes narrowed deeply, trying to avoid the incoming rays until piercing his unprepared pupils.

It seems to be morning.

Weni who had just finished preparing warm water in the bathroom, reflexively exclaimed to find the madam had woken up.

"Oh, is the madam awake? Do you want to have breakfast or take a shower?"

Glacia looked up and snorted. "I haven't had a drink yet" he said hoarsely.

The fact made Weni immediately flutter. "Ah, i-iya is right. Hold on, I'll get you."

Weni hurried to take the glass filled with water on the nightstand and gave it to Glacia who was now sitting down. "Please, Madam."

"Ah, Vienna yesterday permission for leave, ma'am. Our father is sick. Because it is impossible for us to go home together, finally Vienna is home, Madam," explained Weni.

"Oh." Glacia just nodded. For a moment he thought of something. "Did anyone come into my room last night?"

Weni. "I don't know. What's the matter, madam?"

Glacia had forgotten that it was already night that no waitress was wandering around. He also shook his head while shaking. "That's it. Maybe it's just my feelings."

Once again Weni just blinked because she was confused. Putting aside the madam's strange questions, she began to help Glacia go through her usual morning routine. Bathe, help her get dressed, then go downstairs for breakfast.

Glacia didn't find Narendra at the dinner table. Perhaps the man had already left for work before Glacia woke up from her sleep.

On the other hand Narendra was stuck at his desk. He deliberately left early in the morning because he could not sleep after waking up in the middle of the night. Even though Narendra did not dare to meet Glacia, he was afraid that Glacia realized that last night he entered without permission to his room, and.

Narendra admitted he was wrong for stealing opportunities, but last night his heart was very upset for no apparent reason. Especially after looking at the test results that Julian brought this morning to his office. Narendra was completely rendered inexhaustible by all those who tried to hide all this from him.

Especially John. Though Narendra had great respect for the man all his life, but for Glacia alone Narendra was not involved despite his status as a husband.

"First, when she was a child, she had undergone chemotherapy to cure cancer. He was declared cured after 6 months of treatment."

The information that Julian got back seemed to disturb Narendra's mind. It turns out he doesn't know anything about Glacia. Even the smallest thing, let alone something that the woman had experienced in the past.

In the midst of his frenetic daydream, John suddenly came upon knocking on the door. "Can Papa come in?"

Narendra stood up to welcome the man. He nodded and invited John to sit on the sofa in the room.

They sit facing each other. John looked at his son-in-law with a complicated look full of questions.

"Lately, Julian has been seen in and out of Medika hospitals" John said.

There is no change in Narendra's countenance. He stayed in a calm position while listening. Narendra knew very well what John's words meant. Indirectly the man wanted to say that he knew Narendra was investigating something about his daughter.

Narendra lowered his head for a moment while letting out a ruckus. "It turns out Papa still watches over me?" He looked up. The two throw each other face to face in their own sense.

"Naren, you should know that Papa trusts you. Don't let Papa's trust go away because of your actions."

"What am I doing? I'm just trying to figure out what happened to my wife" Narendra said.

This was the first time that Narendra was against John, and he felt he had done the right thing.
