Serving a Paralyzed Wife

Serving a Paralyzed Wife
91. Traitors

"Where did you sleep last night?" glacia asked, after putting the glass that Narendra had previously given. Glacia just finished breakfast.

Narendra neatly cleaned up the empty plates and glasses. He told the bodyguard who was still loyal to wait for them there to get rid of the tray. Narendra then looked at Glacia again after the bodyguard left.

"In office. Yesterday was out of session—" Narendra stopped his speech and immediately corrected. "Yesterday I went to the office, kept overtime."

Glacia looked at Narendra more deeply. "From the office, you're straight here?"

Narendra. "Yes." Yeah."

"That means you still wear that shirt yesterday?" As Glacia knew, while in the hospital, Narendra wore a casual sweater. I don't know if the guy changed it when he decided to go to work.

Narendra looked down at his own clothes, then grimaced while nodding confirming. Narendra did not take a bath, and his confession that had drunk coffee was also true. He drank coffee in the office pantry, and bread to prop up his stomach.

Glacia unintentionally looked at Narendra's hand as she lowered her head. He touched the back of the man's hand slowly, making Narendra also look up at him.

"So you said you were doused in hot water?" ask Glacia.

Narendra. "Yes, it was coffee. But it's okay, not blistering either. It was just hot" he said, touching Glacia's hand on the back of his hand.

"But it's red. You better buy ointment, or ask your doctor for a prescription medication," advises Glacia.

But Narendra nodded. He stared fixedly at the wife who had returned this morning as usual. He was glad Glacia was paying attention to him. He enjoyed the moment Glacia was worried about seeing his hand.

Glacia looked down at her hand between Narendra's, then looked up to observe the man. "Yesterday ..you had time to say about retaliation," he said carefully. He examined Narendra's reaction while continuing. "What revenge did you do to Lizy?"

Silent. Narendra seemed silent, but his eyes could not be separated from Glacia. The man's face was calm, without ripples, but it was also difficult to guess.

Glacia is still waiting for Narendra's answer, but has not yet got it, the arrival of Julian who walked hastily managed to divert his attention and Narendra.

"Sir, why is your phone dead?" Julian's sour face made Narendra straighten the back that was originally leaning on the edge of the table. He kept his hands away from Glacia, which unconsciously made Glacia feel empty and lost.

"What's wrong?" Narendra pulled out the phone he had previously turned off at Glacia's request. So active, he finds dozens of missed calls from Julian, and ... A gibran?

He looked up at the assistant who now seemed to be standing agitated. For a moment Narendra turned to Glacia who was also curious. He then moved closer to Julian while pushing him slowly away.

Narendra whispers. "Don't talk here. Wait in front."

Julian clucked, but he had no choice but to comply. Julian nodded briefly as a sign of disdain for Glacia before leaving. Meanwhile, Narendra turned to face Glacia who was still silent with an inquisitive look.

"Julian why?" ask the woman.

Narendra folded his lips smiling. He approached Glacia, then sat on the edge of the table facing her. "I have a little business, you're okay if I stay, right?"

His hand rubbed the side of Glacia's cold face. He pulled out a cell phone to call one of the bodyguards in front of Glacia's ward to get here.

Glacia looked at the man. Actually he was curious what was the problem until Julian caught up with Narendra with a face like that.

Narendra finished with his call, focusing on Glacia who was still staring at him.

"I won't be long, you wait here for a moment. I've called the bodyguard to accompany you here. You're okay, right?" ask Narendra again. He took Glacia medicine that the nurse had prepared along with the breakfast ration.

"Drink first." Narendra handed the drug to Glacia. Glacia received the same mineral water that Narendra had bought in between Glacia eating a while ago.

After taking the medicine, Glacia again asked. "Julian looks agitated. What was? Did something bad happen?"

Finding Glacia still curious, Narendra only smiled reluctantly to answer. "I don't know, but it seems very important. Therefore, are you okay with me living alone?"

"It seems so important that you two should talk about it" Glacia murmured.

"I'll be right back." Narendra leaned over the nape of Glacia, then clenched the woman's lips slowly. It was only a few seconds before moving away.

Coinciding with that, the bodyguard that Narendra had called came over. The two nodded in disdain at Narendra and Glacia.

Narendra got up from the edge of the table, rubbing Glacia's shoulders before waltzing away leaving her there. He asked two guards to keep an eye on Glacia as best he could.

Glacia stared at the departure of Narendra long ago. He breathed out and tried to get rid of the desire to interfere. It might just be a matter of work that Glacia doesn't understand.

In the front yard of the hospital, Narendra approached Julian who was standing waiting for his arrival. "What's wrong?"

Julian immediately turned to face Narendra to tell him something. "Miss Eliza is missing" he said slowly.

For a moment Narendra glanced around, then invited Julian to talk in the car. "How can you?" he continued after the two of them were in a more closed place.

Julian took a breath. "There was an intruder who took him away. The problem is, when their capture falls into a ravine, and the possibility of being washed away by river currents. To date, our team is still searching. It's been over 14 hours, could it be that they were killed?"

"Fourteen hours, and no one told me?" dengus Narendra couldn't believe it.

"I just got the news this morning" Julian said.

Narendra was upset. He pulled the lever before turning the steering wheel until the vehicle left the hospital.

"Sir, where are we going?"

"You think I should shut up when my prisoner escapes?" Narendra asked back.

"But, Madam ..."

"He can wait for this."

The ring slowly came out of a woman's mouth. Not slowly, he almost cried to feel the pain and pain of the wounds he felt in all parts of the body. Including his face which is now full of scratches.

Spreading his gaze, he frowned upon finding a foreign place. Small, but at least not as dirty and disgusting as in the banker yesterday.

As if he had gotten used to the dirty things of the past few days, Lizy did not care anymore about the state of the objects around him. His own body was shabby and smelly.

Once again Lizy grimaced. He looked down and watched his entire body filled with wounds. Not a few cigarette stubs that he found on the surface of his skin. There are also sharp objects incisions, as well as other berets that make the skin smash smooth.

Pain, it feels like dying is better for Lizy at the moment. But he did not want to die in vain. Someone opened the door to make Lizy look. The tall man he saw yesterday now appeared before Lizy again.

He looked fine, but they had just fallen into a pretty steep ravine. Lizy doesn't remember anything from fainting. If not waking up now, maybe Lizy already thought he was dead.

"You're finally awake. If you die, it's in vain that I save you," said the man, flat.

From yesterday Lizy was curious about the figure of the man whose face was always covered in a hat and mask. "Who are you really? Why are you trying so hard to help me?"

"I'm not helping you, because we're going to do mutually beneficial cooperation."

"Cooperation?" Lizy felt her body still very limp. His stomach ached and twisted, this must be the impact of stale food that has lately become his main meal, or poisonous Chinese tea that he drinks daily at the insistence of the cruel people. Of course, the mastermind of all Lizy's suffering is Narendra.

"The point is the same, you and I both want a separation between Glacia and Narendra."

The eyes behind the hat and mask seemed to twitch slightly indicating a smile, and it seemed like Lizy knew who the figure of the man was.

As for the man grinning looking at Lizy. How much he risked his life to save the woman before him now. After acting madly plopped down into the abyss, in the end luck still sided with them. Doesn't that mean God approved of the plan he was going to make?

According to him, this is a miracle because he survived after being surrounded by Gibran Wiranata's men.

Falling down and drifting in a rushing stream, surviving between the lifeline and dying, trying to escape from the pursuit of trained troops, what an incredible experience for him. This was his first desperate act, for the sake of someone he currently wanted.

"Glacia should know that her husband is not as good as she thought he was" she muttered with ambition, making Lizy even more convinced that the man in front of her was now someone she knew.

Narendra walked quickly into the hidden banker behind the lush forest and weeds. His face was stiff with a clattering of steps that sounded resolute. Behind him, Julian followed with a face no less serious. They arrived at a room that is a surveillance room, there are dozens of screens displaying CCTV footage of various corners of the place.

"What are you doing until an intruder can get in here?" todong Narendra, made the silence of the room that had been gripping.

Gibran sat in front of the sails, until Narendra approached and stood beside him. He was also silent to observe the recording from various angles that were played repeatedly.

There is nothing strange, there does not show a single foreign movement let alone suspicious. There was only one member of them who went in and out of the Vienna confinement room. It's obvious something's wrong.

Narendra turned to Gibran who also seemed to have the same thoughts as him. Not long after that man spoke. "Don't man, I can even see the movement of ants from that camera" he said coldly. His calm intonation always makes people ketar-ketir.

He looked back at Narendra. "You're not blind to technology, you know what I mean."

Silent. Gibran continued his words. "I designed the security here myself. It was impossible for one to enter so easily let alone escape. Except, you failed to develop it, Narendra."

Everyone was silent, including Narendra who was now staring intently at Gibran. How dare this man underestimate him, after previously he begged to ask Narendra to join his members again.

Narendra has not struggled in the world of technology for a long time, but that does not mean he became stupid and did this big recklessness.

Gibran added. "Or .. someone made it easier for him to enter this place."

The atmosphere was suddenly tense. Narendra nodded slowly with a stern thought.

"In addition to the manipulated CCTV, only members here can enter and exit the banker freely." Gibran again noticed the recording on each screen, which at first glance was no mistake. "You think you can fool me that easily? Narendra even realized this tape showed something strange. The duration and movement in the camera seem unnatural. Obviously, before this someone fiddled with it."

"One more thing, this place escapes even government tracking signals. No one can enter Gibran Wiranata's private territory. There's only one possibility, someone who has connections, who brought that person here."

The statement made Narendra run his eyes, scrutinizing one by one the members standing on each side of the room, surrounding Narendra and Gibran who were the center in their midst.

Suddenly Gibran pulled out a gun from between his pants. He brandished the weapon while looking straight at the dozens of screens in front.

"Say, who would dare betray me?"

Everyone was silent under the gripping aura that was oozing out. No one dared to make a sound, let alone make a move.

Gibran said again. "Forward! Or I'll bring you down on your knees myself!"

The call was still unable to break the tension. All the members there were nervous faces. Until a second later ...

Dor's!

The sound of a strangling bullet eruption accompanied the screams of someone back there. Gibran had just shot his men, but his body was still perpendicular to the front. He did it without looking.

"Aarray!" A man kneels after his calf is torn apart. Blood was flowing soaking his black pants.

All eyes turned towards the man, with an unexpected look that there was a traitor among them.

Gibran turned around, staring right at the members he had just shot. The man ducked deeply, not daring to look at Gibran. His body seemed to shake when he said an apology.

"Sorry, Sir. Im sorry. S-I .. I ..." The sentence stopped when the cold thing touched his head.

Gibran approached slowly and placed the gun in his hand just above the top of the man's head. The atmosphere was increasingly quiet, all the bodies there stiffened waiting for Gibran's next action.

"Before you became my member, you swore an oath of loyalty, not wavering against any temptation, be it material or sympathy for the nearest."

"Don't you think you can fool me. Even though I'm at the end of the world, you still won't be able to fool a Gibran Wiranata." Gibran's voice was hissing sharply.

"You know what will happen if you betray me. I hate negligence, let alone toyed loyalty."

The man lowered his head deeper, and before long the sound of gunshots reverberated breaking the silence. The man fell on the floor, with blood flowing from his head.

"Still dare you fuck with me?"
