Serving a Paralyzed Wife

Serving a Paralyzed Wife
82. Comfortable Feelings

Narendra stands with his legs crossed. In front of him, Thomas sat with a face no less flat. The tattooed young man looked at Narendra straight, his cold face suddenly making Narendra snort.

"What's wrong? You're gonna sue me for killing your father?" ask Narendra with a face that is not rippling.

"He's your father, too" Thomas replied.

Narendra again snorted, throwing his face away for a moment before turning to look at Thomas again. "You know I don't have much time. So tell me what you want?"

"Let me work."

"What?" Narendra.

"Let me work for you" Thomas continued.

Silent. For a moment Narendra just stared at the boy. He then chuckled faintly throwing his smile in the other direction. "You're wrong, then," he said, then got up while putting his hands in his pockets.

Thomas looked up at Narendra who was about to leave. "i'm serious. You said to fix everything, I had to change my lifestyle. And the first thing I'm gonna do is work it right."

Thomas' voice sounded flat, but in Narendra's ear it was nothing more than a teenage babble that made him want to laugh.

"You need a job?" ask Narendra.

Thomas did not answer, but the boy was sure Narendra could understand his silence. Evidently, next Narendra held out a business card to Thomas.

"Come to him. That's also if you really want to work, not approach for some reason." Narendra's out. It was the room that Julian had borrowed from the hospital when Thomas suddenly came to ask to meet.

Because Narendra was reluctant to meet outside, Julian inevitably used one of the facilities at the hospital to maintain the man's privacy.

Julian followed Narendra out, leaving Thomas still unmoved in his seat. Narendra's words sound sarcastic. The man has broad enough intuition to realize that Thomas met him with other intentions.

Thomas breathed his breath hard. He saw the business card given by Narendra, there was a name with the clan Wiranata. "You're seriously trying to get me to work there" he sighed in disbelief.

He got up, and left the room. As he passed through an alley, his feet stopped finding someone familiar.

Wasn't that the disabled woman that Krishna had wanted to eliminate? So she's Narendra's wife?

Thomas stayed there a long time. The woman was in a wheelchair with a nurse. Her face was very pale, but Thomas admitted she was beautiful, even though he thought she was too thin.

From a distance, Narendra appeared to approach the woman. Thomas immediately pulled his feet behind the hall wall.

"I'm looking for you" said Narendra.

Breaths were heard from his wife. "I'm bored, you know?"

"But it looks like the doctor hasn't suggested you come out yet." The man returned flat. Narendra's voice is distinctive, calm as if there is no emotion even though he is being sweet and attentive.

Thomas grunts. He could hardly believe that Narendra had killed dozens of humans using wolves. If his wife found out, Thomas was sure he'd think it was all a lie.

She wondered what would happen if she knew the cruelty of her husband.

Thomas peeked back at the two of them. Apparently Narendra insisted on taking his wife back to the room. They stayed away, and Thomas came out of hiding.

Glacia endlessly frowned as Narendra pushed his wheelchair towards the nursery. Does the man not understand that he is bored in the environment?

"Stop that pouting face. We have to ask the doctor's permission if you want to go outside" Narendra said.

The man opened the door as soon as he arrived in front of Glacia's room. And Glacia was made to blink because there were already several doctors waiting for him there. They want to start the examination.

Glacia grimaced a little embarrassed. Narendra pushed himself deeper, then carried him back to lie in bed.

One of the doctors chuckled. "It turns out you're quite naughty, ma'am. Are you so unable to bear to take a walk, that you dare to pull out the infusion needle yourself?"

The sentence invites the amused look of other doctors. Glacia ignored them. He only let when one of the nurses re-attached the infusion on the back of his hand.

After checking, the doctors gave an explanation about the condition of Glacia.

"Mistress's heart rate is still too weak to carry on activities. Madam's body was also not ready to be invited to walk for too long. Her health is still unstable. Your breathing also still sounds heavy and tight, it is better not to carelessly open the oxygen hose to prevent things that are not desirable."

"We have not advised you to go outside except sunbathing in the nearby park." The doctor looked at Narendra. "Sir, make sure your wife's body is always warm. Low body temperature can worsen his health condition."

Narendra. "okay." He looked down at Glacia who had a lazy face. "Thank you, Doctor," he continued.

"Either. Then we'll excuse us."

After the doctors left, Narendra breathed out while throwing glances at Glacia. Glacia furrowed deeply, staring back at Narendra. "What?"

"You're stupid enough, but this is for your own health."

"I'm bored, Naren."

"I'll take you to the nearest park. But remember, don't leave the room like before. If something happens to you, how? It's still good I came back here and found you not in the room. There are no guards in front. You must have asked Papa to pull them. Right, right?" cerocos Narendra's.

Glacia grimacing. He did tell John to pull out all the bodyguards standing guard in front. He is uncomfortable and embarrassed if others consider them too excessive.

"Why did you come back? Didn't you go outside? I thought you were off to work," frowned Glacia.

Narendra took a deep breath. He sat on the edge of Glacia's bed, watching the woman lying down looking at him with a pale face.

"I just met someone for a while, and I don't intend to go to the office today. Papa's taken care of everything."

Glacia blinked to understand. "Then, why are your clothes so formal? I guess you rarely wear casual clothes?"

He observed Narendra neatly from head to toe. Truly the appearance of the young executive of the capital. He's too dapper to just relax waiting for a sick person.

Understanding what Glacia was thinking, Narendra let out his breath again. He opened the suit, then the tie and vest shirt wrapped around it.

"Should I take this shirt off, too?" Narendra raised an eyebrow looking at Glacia. His finger pointed at the light blue shirt he was wearing. "I'm out of change, and this is all that's left. Just tell me," he continued, sniffing.

Glacia. "I've used that."

Narendra. "I thought you'd let me bare-chested. I'm not a problem myself."

"Yes!" Glacia hit Narendra who was standing nearby. The man only smiled slightly in response to Glacia's annoyance.

Suddenly Narendra sat down again on the edge of the bed. His face looked at the sticky Glacia, then grabbed the woman's one hand for her to hold.

"Glacy, promise to keep your spirits up. You must be healed, and you must be healed. I will keep you company at all times. So, never think of anything. Be optimistic, keep thinking positive. You have me if you want to complain. You are not alone. I am your husband and friend" said Narendra softly.

The eyes of both of them clashed against each other. Narendra with a warm look, then Glacia with her confused expression that was filled. The woman didn't know what to say. He was more astonished, why Narendra was so eager to survive their marriage. In fact, Glacia had hurt him a lot.

"Is love really this complicated?" Glacia snorted a smile, trying to break the sudden mood. "Hey, of course I won't give up on my life. You really love me, don't you? Until you told me many times not to die. Haha ..." The woman chuckled.

But Narendra did not laugh at all. He even smiled wryly with a slight glance. "I'm serious."

"What's? Loving me?" ask Glacia amused.

Narendra breathed, then smiled. "Yes, I love you. Don't ask me why, because I don't have a reason to like you."

Glacia. Narendra's statement left him unfazed. Even when Narendra lowered his face kissing his lips, Glacia remained silent.

Naren, you're too good until I'm afraid to love you.

Glacia's eyes closed enjoying the movement of Narendra's lips. The man kissed her softly feeling, very different from what Glacia had ever felt with Gallen.

How does Glacia explain it? Narendra, he always made Glacia feel calm whenever she was beside him. But Glacia was also scared. Had God said otherwise and they had to part, Glacia feared that she would leave unreservedly.
